Alan and I have been... fairly obsessed with Super Robot Wars. So! Who's up for a Super Robot Wars Original Original Generation roleplay?
By Original Original Generation, I mean taking what the series did with its own Original Generation series - removing the characters from the other series such as Gundam, GaoGaiGar, Mazinger Z, and countless others to tell the story with just the original characters created for Super Robot Wars. I'm willing to take this a step further and remove those characters as well, making it so that the players are the main characters. I'm willing to take this one of two ways. The first is a closer model of the series in which players will play as members of either team ATX or SRX. The other is that everyone comes together as part of the same team, ORX, and I mess with the setting a bit to introduce some new themes. Basically, for the breakdown. ATX is the Armored Trooper division, it makes use of Real-Type Robots, and high-end modified frames of basic robots. SRX is the Super Robot division, it employs Telekinetic pilots and tends to use experimental telekinesis-based mechs, as well as, eventually, super robots. ORX, if we take that path, is the Omega Robot division, which involves special alien technology. More on that if we go down that path. That's not to say, of course, that you won't have access to Super Robots as ATX or vice-versa. By the end of it, everyone, be they ATX or SRX, will have an AWESOME mech. They'll just be a bit different. Real-type robots tend to be sleeker and more maneuverable, whereas Super Robots tend to be more big and face-crushing, but the lines can be blurred in several instances. Also, some mechs can transform into plane and/or tank modes, those who are interested will eventually have a transforming mech. Anyway, this should be a fun mecha-based adventure. It won't require too much more than just regular posting. Also, if we do the former option of ATX and SRX you MUST be telekinetic to be on SRX, though ATX can be telekinetic too (hell, I expect everyone'll be telekinetic anyway since there's no advantage to NOT being telekinetic except that I might give you a cool experimental unit). If we do an ORX game, the option of being telekinetic is disabled, but there will be something else instead So, I need at least 3. Here are the sign-ups: Character Name: Character Gender: Character Age: Character piloting abilities: (What are you good at? Will determine the kind of mech you get. Abilities are accuracy and maneuverability, all-around, strong attacks and defense, techniques and skills, fighting spirit and guts) Character Physical Description: Character Personality: Character Background: (as far as world is concerned, slightly sci-fi, more technologically advanced, but more or less normal 1st-world country conditions. This takes place on Earth, so assume the same geo-political layout. Also, include whether you're a recruited civilian or are already a military personnel at the start of the game) Telekinetic?: (yes or no) Team Preference: (This is how we'll decide which game to play. If you list ATX or SRX, it'll be considered a vote for that kind of a game. If you list ORX, please list in parenthesis ATX or SRX in case ORX gets overridden.) That's pretty much it, you'll be assigned mechs and special abilities when the game starts. Do note, you will likely start with more bottom-of-the-barrel basic mechs, but you'll eventually get to start on prototypes, which will become more awesome over time. Generally, SRX team members and more maneuverability-focused pilots will be in Gespensts, with SRX team members being in Gespents TTs, that can employ the T-Link Ripper. Those who are more all-around or technique-focused will start in Huckebeins, and those who are more power and armor-focused will start in Schutzwalds (as seen here). So, who's interested? Need at least 3 to play. |

Officially encouraging EVERYONE to join this, whether or not they've played SRW. It's not just about awesome robots. It's about goofy awesome shonen antics and personalities bouncing off each other, and awesome robots.
It's Bleach, with Rocket Punches! Albright Schroeder Character Gender: Male Character Age: 22 Character piloting abilities: Despite his personality, a heavy-weapons specialist. Character Physical Description: Tall, somewhat thin, tanned complexion. Short, neatly cropped brown hair. Green eyes. Clean shaven. Frequently grinning, in a way that makes some people like him and others want to punch him square in the face. Generally somewhat sharp and angular. Smokes. Character Personality: Albright ("Albert" to uncultured Americans, "Al" to people who know him well enough) could best be described as aloof. He has a tendency to get sidetracked from whatever he was trying to talk about, falling into elaborate metaphors and philosophical waxings. He has an undeniable charm about him - everyone he meets almost immediately either loves him or hates him. Has a bit of a prejudice against Americans for unclear reasons. Character Background: Albright was born in Vienna, Austria, into a reasonably well-off family. He performed poorly in school, focusing his attention on his classmates rather than his studies. After leaving high school with a lackluster record, he failed to get into a decent college. Rather than let their son attent a substandard university, they pushed him to join the military - a respectable profession that was well within his grades to attain. Albright got along surprisingly well in the military, angering his officers with his cocky attitude, but attracting the interest of certain groups. After a brief career as a tank operator, he was redistributed to a top-secret team using a new kind of weapons technology... Albright has been a member of team ATX for 2 weeks. Telekinetic: No Team Preference: (In order, from most to least) ATX, ORX, SRX -------------------- WARNING: This game contains mild off-scene violence and some adult innuendo.

A BASIC HISTORY PRIMER OF THE NEW COMMON ERA
Some time in the not-too-distant future, two meteors hit the Earth, codenamed Meteor-1 and Meteor-2. Both hit large population centers, and were large enough to cause untold destruction to the planet, threatening to leave civilization in fragments. Fortunately, large-scale efforts organized by the United Nations eventually led the world back to stability. During the rebuilding process, Meteor-3 hit the Marquesas Islands in the South Pacific. However, this meteor caused no widespread damage, and was also found to be an artificial body, constructed using alien technology. Renowned scientist Dr. Bian Zoldark analyzed Meteor-3's construction, and made two breakthroughs. The first was the technology to construct humanoid combat vehicles. The second was signs of an impending alien invasion. The year is 179 NCE. Zoldark is rallying Earth to unite against the impending invasion. Meanwhile, a new UN Peacekeeping force is being assembled of young, promising robot pilots. It consists of two groups operating more or less independently - the ATX team in America, and the SRX team in Japan. -------------------- WARNING: This game contains mild off-scene violence and some adult innuendo.

KNOW YOUR ROBOTS Gespenst Mk. II
History: The Gespenst was originally designed by Mao Industries, a powerful arms production corporation stationed on Earth's moon. It was originally designed as a cheap, easy to mass-produce Personal Trooper, and the design rapidly became very popular for this purpose. Since its conception, it has gone through numerous upgrades and modifications, including the II R, the II S, and the TT. However, the most advanced model that remains economically feasible to mass-produce is the Gespenst Mk. II If the character has Telekinetic aptitude, then they will instead use a Gespenst Mk. II TT (T-Link Type). It is similar to the Mk. II, but makes use of the T-Link System, to allow the user to psychically interface with the machine. Standard Armaments: M3 Machine Gun: This modest but formidable automatic weapon is the staple of the Gespenst's loadout. It is held, rather than being attatched to the mech. Split Missile: Standard missiles used for long-range attacks. They split into several smaller missiles before reaching their target. Plasma Cutter: A standard energy blade for melee combat. It is held, rather than being attatched to the mech. T-Link Ripper (TT Only): A mid-range remote weapon, consisting of 3 pods with spinning blades, used to cut through the enemy's armor. After being launched, the pods are controlled by telekinesis Jet Magnum: The three "Plasma Stakes" mounted on the left arm are energized. The Gespenst charges at the enemy and delivers a hard tackle, knocking the enemy back. It grabs a hold on the enemy and discharges its stored energy against the target for high-end damage. This is the Gespenst's most powerful attack. Demonstration: http://youtube.com/watch?v=4xRpsPRpCuU 0:00 - Split Missile 0:20 - Plasma Cutter 1:07 - Jet Magnum All other portrayed attacks are nonstandard. Huckebein Mk. II M
History: Also developed by Mao Industries, the Huckebein is the first Personal Trooper to use the technology gleaned from Meteor-3, being powered by an experimental Black Hole Engine. However, during the testing of one of the first Huckebein models, there was an engine meltdown that inflicted massive damage on the moon base where it was being tested, and destroyed the testing model. The incident earned the Huckebein a dubious reputation and a new nickname, the "Vanishing Trooper." Standard Armaments: 60mm Vulcan Cannon: A pair of small-caliber guns mounted on the head. Lacking power, they are generally used as a secondary weapon. Beam Sword: High-powered beam saber used for melee combat. Photon Rifle: Standard rifle for moderate range combat. G-Railgun: Specialized railgun for long range combat. Rectangular Launcher: A large cannon that fires of huge rounds. The heaviest weapon in the Huckebein IIM's arsenal. Demonstration: http://youtube.com/watch?v=pAhYwY1OTgE 0:00 - 60mm Vulcan Cannon 0:14 - Beam Sword 0:30 - Photon Rifle All other portrayed attacks are nonstandard for the IIM. Schutzwald
History: The Schutzwald was also designed by Mao Industries, relying on thermal power rather than a Black Hole Engine. It was very different from their original Gespenst line, being designed for bombardment purposes, rather than general combat. Due to the high production costs and difficulty of maintaining the machine, the Schutzwald never saw widespread use. Standard Armaments: 60mm Vulcan Cannon: A pair of small-caliber guns mounted on the head. Lacking power, they are generally used as a secondary weapon. Plasma Sword: A beam sword stored on the Schutzwald, in case its pilot needs to engage in melee combat. Autocannon: A pair of wrist-mounted tri-barrel automatic cannons. Twin Beam Cannon: A back-mounted system of twin-linked beam cannons. This is the most powerful weapon in the Schutzwald's arsenal. Demonstration: http://youtube.com/watch?v=e2hXdZFDFR4 Only shows the Twin Beam Cannon. -------------------- WARNING: This game contains mild off-scene violence and some adult innuendo.

Character Name: Sagara, Yusuke (Last Name, First Name)
Character Gender: Male Character Age: 22 Character piloting abilities: accuracy and maneuverability, Sniping, and all attacks at range Character Physical Description: 6'0", Tall and slender build, strong toned arm muscles from years of archery, pale skin, Japanese, high reflexes, very flexible, quick speed, black hair with a short ponytail, and round glasses. Character Personality:Antisocial, very studious, loner by nature, does not like to trust people, while he can come up with brillant strategies he would rather have someone else be the leader and come up with all the ideas, likes to stay in the shadows as much as possible, and follows orders without asking many questions. Character Background: Born in Kyoto, Japan. Family is middle-class working in the videogame industry. First true friend he made in grade school tried to drown him for no reason that Yusuke could see, and so since then he has had major mistrust in people. Ever since grade school in school he has not had many friends, but is a straight A+ student. Was the junior high and high school Archery club president throughout all his years at those schools, and competes on the national level at archery compotitions. Also a very good marksman in rifle, pistol, heck any type of gun. His parents don't have the money to send him to college, so he was drafted into the military. After working with the main military for a while he was approached by and he soon joined the SRX, and has been a member of it for two years. Telekinetic: Yes Team Preference: SRX, ORX, ATX Note:I think we worked it out so that Yusuke will have just been transfered to ATX when the story unfolds. This is going to be a lot of fun. Ready to start when you are! |

Fay Reinhardt (short for her actual name, "Faith", which she rarely, rarely goes by)
Character Gender: Female Character Age: 20 Character piloting abilities: She's first and foremost good at creating the best strategy for victory.... But as far as actually piloting her mech, she should have slightly higher-end defense, but not necessarily be a tank. She will be focused on technique and be a general all-around fighter. Character Physical Description: Fay has a normal height and a normal-to-lanky shape, and might be not to bad-looking if she were done up for the prom, but her style overall is just to go plain and simple. Her orange-red hair is cut short and straight, and her face is usually in a state of expectancy or concentration. She's somewhat clumsy on her feet, and thus isn't very athletic, either. Character Personality: She really would prefer things to go as planned, and that such plans are very secure and logical. Of course, this isn't what usually happens, and so we end up seeing her very frantic and stressed out and trying to explain to everyone why we SHOULD NOT charge in without a thought about a strategy, AAAAAGH~ And such. Still, she's incredibly loyal and would never leave anyone behind, and if she has to choose between her own safety and sticking with the group, she'll go with the later, grumbling as she does. She panics under pressure at first, but if someone doesn't do a dashing damsel-in-distress rescue, her amazing will to survive makes her brain snap into action, and she'll thrash and kick as much as she can, so that she can live to see another day. Sometimes she'll resort to chanting happy things to herself if it'll get her to distract her from the terrifying danger in front of her. ("EVERYTHING'S GREAT, EVERYTHING'S GOOD, EVERYTHING'S GREAT, EVERYTHING'S GOOD...") Character Background: Before our campaign starts, she was just the normal American just-turned-20 young adult, trying to get the best grades she could at college so that she could get into med school and please her parents. In the small amount of free time she had, she played lots and lots of chess, and was pretty good, too. Everything in her life was planned, organized, scheduled to the hour. Then all of the sudden, the UN showed up, and apparently she was found to show an unbelievable amount of telekinetic potential. Off to the army you go, kiddo! Your planet needs you to pilot a MECHA. 0_0 Telekinetic?: Yes Team Preference: ATX -------------------- |

I hate you all!
I wasn't going to join this.... then Austin gets me all hot for the anime and it's reminding me of this Gundam-based written thing I did a long time ago gah.. >_> So ok, I'm going to give roleplaying another shot. I'll try to stick around at least long enough to give my character a meaningful death if I decide to quit Yelena Jackson Character Gender: Female Character Age: 26 Character piloting abilities: She is strong in accuracy and maneuverability. Strong attacks. Not a whole lot of fighting spirit, but a LOT of guts. Basically, if she doesn't have to fight she won't pick a fight but she has nerves of steel and can keep a straight face in almost any situation. Character Physical Description: She is of Russian-American origins. Medium height, slight build, pale, dark hair, grey eyes which can look different colors in different lights. Somewhat short but fashionable hair. Character Personality: When people first meet Yelena she comes off as mildly friendly, cultured, highly intelligent, and maybe a little fragile, her expression is often described as thoughtful and she doesn't smile a lot. She has been called difficult to read. The truth is, she is highly intelligent, excellent at both reading people and deceiving people. She was a CIA agent and is trained for both giving and receiving interrogation. She has a natural uncertain/fragile look about her due to her petite features, but underneath she has nerves of steel. Socially she seems very "together" on the surface and has many acquaintances in the right places, but not many true friends. She is essentially married to her job. She has been in love, but she moves around a lot. She hesitates to get attached to coworkers because she understands the nature of high death toll jobs. Nevertheless, she is extremely resourceful and has a record of saving agents' lives when they had already been proclaimed as expended. [EDIT:] Just to clarify, this isn't necessarily a good record. It's good in her eyes and the people she saved, but her superiors dislike that she goes against orders. For example, maybe she and some other agent were sent to retrieve a highly sensitive piece of hardware and she gets it, but the other agent gets caught. The criminals demand the return of the hardware for the agent's life. Her supervisors consider the hardware the top priority and expend the other agent in favor for its safe return, but Yelena goes back in and manages to get her agent back AND get the hardware back a second time, achieving both goals. She has never failed her primary objective to save someone's life, but her supervisors claim it's too risky. She isn't beyond tears, but crying always comes after the mission is over. Character Background: She skipped grades in school. She has a Masters in Criminal Investigative Psychology. She served as a CIA agent and then was selected to become a pilot thanks to her telekinetic potential and experience with weapons and piloting. She also speaks many languages. Telekinetic: Yes Team Preference: Whatever |

Character Name: Aileen Lynette
Character Gender: Female Character Age: 22 Character piloting abilities: Aileen specializes in powerful attacks. She can wield most weapons, but is not extremely great at any one in particular. Her aim with projectiles is rather good. She loves a good fight, but usually lets herself be challenged instead of being the challenger. Character Physical Description: She's an ethnic mutt, to the point where not even her parents are quite sure what all she is. A slight slant to her eyes gives the impression of asian background. Her hair is mud brown and cut to a little above her shoulders, and her eyes are bright green. She has the build of an athlete, and is of average height. Character Personality: Aileen is confident and bold. She is not ashamed of herself, or of her actions (unless they were stupid, reckless, and above all, pointless). She is usually in a good mood, and is willing to befriend anyone who seems to be a good person. That being said, she is very loyal to her good friends, though she has a tendency to lash out violently in the case of betrayal. She can be polite when necessary, or when around people she does not know, but once she feels comfortable around a person she drops it all in favor of a more laid back demeanor. When angry, her tone becomes scathing, and it isn't usually too difficult to figure out who she really hates just by how she acts towards them, as well as by her words: She is very vocal about the things she hates, though she has the tact not to say it around said things. Character Background: Aileen comes from Portland, Oregon. She had been in college pursuing her studies when she was found to be a telekinetic. She was quickly shipped off to join the army, something she found herself becoming quite excited about. Telekinetic?: Yes Team Preference: ATX, apparently. -------------------- |

Good stuff! We're starting now.
Albright Schroeder At 1:30 AM you are awoken by a man claiming to be from the FBI. He informs you that due to your performance results, you've been selected to join ATX, an elite military team making use of new technology. He tells you to immediately pack your belongings, and that you will leave in an hour. After you hastily gather your belongings and report to the airstrip, you are loaded into a small transport and flown from your Austrian base and across the Atlantic Ocean. After about 9 hours, you arrive at the JFK Airport in New York City. The time is 6:00 a.m. when you finally disembark. You are immediately loaded into an APC with four other people and taken to Fort Hamilton, one of the largest military bases in New York that was renovated in the last century into a state-of-the-art military installation. Fay Reinhardt You are interrupted from your studies in your UW dorm by a harsh knock on the door at 8:30 PM. Standing there are two men dressed in official-looking suits stand at your door. They immediately identify themselves to you and your startled roommate as FBI members, and that you have been selected to join an elite military team known as ATX due to your high-level psychodriver abilities. You are told to pack your essential belongings within an hour, and that you will depart immediately. After an hour of the FBI agents standing over you and watching you pack (but offering no assistance themselves), you and whatever belongings you could gather are taken to Sea-Tac airport, where your flight departs almost immediately. After a 5-hour flight, you arrive at the JFK airport in New York City and are loaded into an APC along with four other people and taken to Fort Hamilton, one of the largest military bases in New York that was renovated in the last century into a state-of-the-art military installation. Yusuke Sagara You are called into the office of Minase Daitetsu, the Captain of the Noah-Class Battleship Hagane, which serves as the flagship for team SRX at 11:00 PM. Captain Daitetsu informs you that you are being immediately transfered to the ATX team in America, and that you have an hour to pack your belongings. After an hour, you are loaded into a transport. After a 14-hour flight, you arrive at the JFK airport in New York City and are loaded into an APC along with four other people and taken to Fort Hamilton, one of the largest military bases in New York that was renovated in the last century into a state-of-the-art military installation. Yelena Jackson ((Sorry, didn't remember to ask where you were from, so I'm making an executive decision of California)) You are called into the office of your Intelligence Director at about 8:30 PM and informed that, effective immediately, you will be transfered to the ATX military team being formed in New York City. You are told to gather your belongings, and that you will leave within the hour. After an hour, you are taken to the Los Angeles International Airport, where your flight departs almost immediately. After a 5-hour flight, you arrive at the JFK airport in New York City and are loaded into an APC along with four other people and taken to Fort Hamilton, one of the largest military bases in New York that was renovated in the last century into a state-of-the-art military installation. Aileen Lynette A knock comes at your dorm room door at about 8:30 PM. Two men in black suits identify themselves as FBI agents, and inform you that you are to gather your belongings in an hour, and that you have been selected to join the newly forming military unit ATX due to your potential as a psychodriver. After an hour, you are taken to the Portland International Airport, where your flight departs almost immediately. Yusuke looks at his watch, which read 11 p.m., as he sits in an out of the way corner of the Noah-Class Battleship Hagane drinking a strong cup of tea, and finishing a ver late dinner. Another uneventful shift on another uneventful day at sea. Now where was I? Yusuke pulls out a very battered copy of a guide to taking college enterance exams, and begins studying. He just becames turning to page two when one of his shipmates rounds the corner.
"There you are, Sagara-kun! You know you can be really tricky to find some times. It's almost as if you don't want anyone to find you." Yusuke raising an eyebrow at the man. Geez you think! Some of us like being alone, thank you very much! Yusuke hides his sigh. "What can I do for you?" "Captain's looking for you. It seems important so you better hurry." Yusuke heistates as he regretablely puts away his book again. Seems like I will never be able to read that book. Yusuke turns to his shipmate and bows. "Thank you for informing me." Without waiting for the man to reply he hurries down the hall to the captains quarters. He knocks and waits for a reply. "Come in." Yusuke opens the door, and sees Captain Minase Daitetsu of the Noah-Class Battleship Hagane, flagship for team SRX, standing before him in all his glory with every one of his badges shinning. "You wanted to see me, sir." "Sagara I have just been informed that you are immediately being transfered to the ATX team in America. You are to go pack you belonging, and you will be leaving within the hour." This is a surprise. What would the Americans want with me? I don't even know any Americans. I can speak english though, so that should help. Yusuke bowed so low to his captain that his glasses nearly fell off. "As you wish, sir. It was an honor serving under you." "I'll miss you too, Sagara-san, so get going already. Just always remember that whereever you go, you will always be a proud member of the Japanese team SRX!" Yusuke bowed one more time, and caught his glasses before they hit the floor. He walked back to his room, packed all his belonging in 5 minutes flat, and waited for his ride to come. An hour later he climbs into a transport. Now maybe I can finally have the time to get some decent studying done for the enterence exams. Now where was I? 14 hours later Yusuke arrives at the JFK international airport in New York City. He looks around at all the different races on Americans running around and chasing down relatives. So this is what America is like. I really hope they have good tea here, or this is going to be a very long mission. After a little trouble, Yusuke tracks down APC his needs to board, and enters it. It is empty. The attendent informs him that they are waiting for four other passengers before they will be heading to Fort Hamilton. Yusuke starts to take back out his College study guide, but thinks better of it. Don't want to make myself look too much like a nerd to any of the Americans I'm about to train with. Yusuke pulls out a book of Soduku puzzles, and a pen and gets to work. /OCC I will be gone until Monday. Assume that Yusuke is too absorbed by his puzzles to respond until I get back on Monday and can respond to you properly/OCC |

Albright stumbled off the plane, half-asleep. He hadn't followed much of what the FBI agent had told him after waking him up, but there was something about an elite military team and new technology or something. The plane ride had been just rough enough to prevent any respectable amount of sleep.
He is loaded into an APC, and find it occupied by a ragtag assortment of soldiers and civilians, all in various states of confusion or exhaustion. He took a seat near the door, and looked around at the others with him... A skinny red-haired girl, looking nervous and confused... She can't be much more than eighteen. By the looks of her, they just pulled 'er out of class. Probably has no idea why she's here... could these people really be here for the same reason I am? Not much to look at, though. Probably more concerned with her grades than her appearance. An asian man with glasses and a ponytail, poking around at some kind of number puzzle... Straight A's in school, I'd wager. Korean? Japanese? I can't tell in this light. If I had to guess, I'd place him in the military, but not a combat role. Intel, or something. He'll probably be top of the team in exercies, then crack in an actual battle. A Russian woman, several years older than him, looking very professional and confident... All right, here we go. This one's a prodigy, by the look of it. Best of whatever the hell group she was in, probably accumulates gold medals like weeds. If we're all supposed to be together, she's here to make the rest of us look bad, so that we'll try and shape up. Nice body, but she's got to drop the Evil Librarian thing. No guy with half a brain's coming anywhere near her with that atmosphere. A girl about his age of indeterminate heritage, the only one in the APC who seems to be actively interested in what's going on... Another civilian, for sure. Probably has no idea what she's getting into, either. Another plucky American college girl who thinks she's being shipped off on to goddamn Disneyland. She looks nice. Where the hell is her family from? I'm seeing Asia and Europe and America all rolled together. If I ask, she'll probably just identify as an American. Albright leaned his head against the wall of the APC, electing to let someone else break the ice. I've got no idea what the hell kind of outfit this is, but it should be more interesting than doing drills back in Austria. At least there's some gender diversity; I was getting tired of being around nothing but guys all the time. -------------------- WARNING: This game contains mild off-scene violence and some adult innuendo.

Yelena also took a mental inventory of her comrades.
Hmm, straight out of college, if that, for most of them. I doubt the girls have ever held a gun in their lives. The studious Asian guy's arms are toned like a shooter, but I'm sure it's a recreational hobby. He's probably never seen live combat. That European guy looks the most promising. She glanced again at Albright. Must be military trained. Young, still thinks of himself as the shit. The corner of her mouth raised in a little smirk. Bet he thinks I'm frigged. Probably better to keep it that way. She looked at the girl sitting across from her. It was the nervous redhead who looked like she couldn't calm down until she got an explanation about what the hell was going on. "You doing alright?" |

Aileen rubbed at her eyes, trying not to fall asleep. It might have been a reasonable time when she was first told, rather abruptly, that she was being sent to the ATX military unit and she was to pack all her things as quickly as possible. It didn't take her too long, being reasonably organized with her belongings, as well as smart enough to realize what she did and didn't need to bring with her to the military.
Even when she boarded the plane, she had been fine. It still wasn't too late, and she was pumped to know that she was doing something useful. Sure, becoming a teacher was useful too, but this was useful in a whole different way. The actual problem came later, after the flight, and after her three hour sleep. Well, nap, really. Three hours didn't really cut it for her, and as a result, she felt exhausted and somewhat ill-tempered. Still, she couldn't help but feel a little energized by the fact that she was going to the military. It was enough to keep her (more or less) awake, and her gaze flickered around quite a bit. She found herself looking at the others in the APC, wondering where they were from and what purpose they had in the place. Probably the same as me. She thought. -------------------- |

Albright noticed Yelena looking his way. She smirked.
Aha. She's not a complete ice queen, after all. He smirked back. Bring it on, miss perfect. -------------------- WARNING: This game contains mild off-scene violence and some adult innuendo.
