Well, that's the end of that!

THE GOOD:
-A nice, conclusive ending. Rika broke through the barrier of the Endless June, Takano lost, all that jazz.
-Glowing Eyes Hanyuu. "The sins of man cannot be forgiven by man..."
-Harry Potter ending.

THE BAD:
-Holy HELL that was an anticlimax. Made me want to go back and rewatch the end of season 1, with its epic moonlit rooftop duel. Takano pointing a gun at Mion and sobbing incoherently just didn't have the same punch.
-How on Earth are they going to do season 3?

I thought that the ending did lack a little mystery that season 1 certainly had, but I liked what they did at the end anyways. I thought the whole grownup Rika going back in time and rewriting history was kinda cool, and I think that is going to be the main story of season 3 Grownup Rika and company changing history, and possibly even rewriting history so that the syndrome does not show up at all. I am hoping that we get Satoshi as a character in the third season. For some unexplained reason I have always like him. I going to say it one last time Akasawa RULES!!!!!!!!!!! Rika and Hanyuu for the WIN!!!!

- Well, I finally finished the series too. I agree that it was no where near as awesome as Rena vs. Keiichi on the roof, though it did obviously have a better sense of completion. Which is, of course, why I agree that I'm confused about how on earth they are going to do another season.

- I'm also a little confused about how Rika pulled off that time travel thing, but I guess her Oyashiro-sama powers increased as she grew up?

- In any case, I'm glad it was a happy ending, and I'll give season three a shot even if I have to think about it as alternate universe. I do kind of hope they have more grown up Rika.

- Akasaka is the man.

Yeah, Akasaka is fairly pimptastic.

And now we can archive this forum again!
