Stories and drawings as usual

Stories:
Bad Blood (Azrael and Ember and Dominick)
Hybrid Grey (Ash)
Star-Crossed (Donovan and Lianna)

Also I have an everyday, kinda non-fantasy, real life story with two characters named Jack and Alexis that Mark and I started while he was away in Oki.

My drawings usually involve the characters mentioned above...

- Naruto/Hinata fanfiction (it's a pairing that needs more lovin'...)
- Kamina/Yoko fanfiction (YOU SAID IT WOULD BE TEN TIMES BETTER, DAMMIT!)
- reworking my Heike/Michiru character ideas
- finishing Lefkel
- finishing Marusaia
- some other undisclosed creative project that is unknown even to me (I need more stuff to do ^^;;)

That's about it! I'll post more if anything occurs to me. And, like the professor, passing this quarter, although he's having a harder time of it than me by the look of things...

I don't have many projects, but the ones I have chosen are ambitious.

-Continuing and revitalizing the Summoner story project
-Picking up the old Japanese books and learning once again what was lost
-Slowly learning to draw once again. It has been ages

As for me, this is how it's going right now:

- Fantasy-ish novel which I have vowed to 1) finish the first draft of and 2) not show to anyone until said first draft is complete, for the very sake of completing the thing.
- Drawings, mostly for school. I've made a coloring sheet for some first graders to learn English colors, and I made head, shoulders, knees, and toes game cards for the fourth graders.

Thanks for the motivation, I need every bit of it I can catch! I have decided to sit down for the next few days and do some serious work thinking about story material.

I will post more here when I have something to talk about. Also, good luck with the fantasy-ish novel draft. I will avoid asking you about it, but know that I am very interested and want to read it when you are done with it. Until then, in the words of Gandalf the Grey, "keep it secret, keep it safe."

And by all means ask me about how my novel draft is going and encourage me to work on it, just don't ask me for any of the story details. Things such as "hurry up and write so I can read it!" are encouraged XD

Progress update: I have a whole lot of character face sketches and profile details, and 5 handwritten pages of the beginning in one of my larger lined moleskine!

Something very amazing happened last night.

I was talking with Souhime about the stories we're working on, and suddenly, in the course of talking about mine, I suddenly felt as though it were somehow more real than it had been, more real than any of my work before now. By "real" I do not mean that my previous work doesn't exist anymore, but rather that the concept of writing stories and novels for a living or as an avocation suddenly seemed more real. I felt, at that moment, that it had ceased to be merely a far off fantasy, and that it was now a dream within my reach, and that all I need to do to get it is to chase after it with conviction.

It's hard to believe there was ever a time that I thought I wasn't creative, because now I have ideas up to my waist. I love the story I'm working on now. It has inspired me, and I really want to work on it and finish it. And then write some more.

That is all. I have hit a turning point. Just thought you all would like to know.

Actually, that is not all, I have to tell you what it is I'm working on. I don't want to say much, but I will say that it is a modern fantasy, set in an alternate 1930s Japan and Manchuria. Anybody who wants to know more can IM me or talk to me about it in person.
