"Alas, I am but a normal pesant and I wear fine armor and posess much skill with my sword. This peasant just might suprise you with his skill" Breven said trying to brag a little before his duel with Sir Morgan. If a fighter didn't have confidence in himself than he truely wasn't a fighter.
"They call me Breven, just Breven, a pleasure to meet you. I take no offence to your comment. It is true that you do seem very small compared to the type of people I usually spar with, but what is a fighter if he can't adjust, right?" Breven let out a hearty laugh.
"I think she is a demon" Breven said realizing that he had no real evidence to support his theory. "She said something to me about taking souls before she walked off. I figured that I should follow her just to make sure she doesn't harm any further people" Breven said hoping that Sir Morgan realized he was in fact a good guy.
"But enough of her, there is a time for woman and a time for fighting, and now is not the time for women." Breven said more than ready to get this duel started. "I think I shall let you have the first attack Sir Morgan, if that is allright with you" Breven said as he took his defencive stance.
he swung his sword down and held it with one hand on the hilt and the others palm on the butt of the weapon. The point of the sword was facing downward infront of breven. This was Brevens favorite defencive stance for it gave his opponents very little oportunity to get close enough to attack. "ready when you are" Breven said waiting for the small man to strike.

"Such a peasant aquired such armour is to my suprise yet it may be to my down fall, if only this were a real fight. But in duels armour does not matter and neither does strength unless used properly." He quirked a brow and wiped the beads of sweat that formed upon his fore head.
"Do not judge me at by my size, it means I am much harder to hit and it takes me less effort to dodge rather then you. But your blows will be swift and I could not defend with just a rapier. I may end up with a broken wrist by the end of this." He let out a laugh from his abdomin.
His face took a serious tone, "If she is who you say she is why waste your time in a duel with me? Hm..." He raised his left hand to stroke his goutee again, "Maybe she just says these things to make you fear her so she doesn't have to deal with a big man such as yourself. She looks to be such a fragile woman," He gave a wink at Breven and laughed.
"Oh... you are no fun Breven, women are so much fun to talk about," he said this in a joking attitude. "But I agree with you, if I may be fighting this demon you so call her, then I may need to stretch my muscles first." He raised his rapier again, taking his offensive stance where he places his rapier in between them and stands sideways having his right foot closer to the enemy.
"The first attack you say? I glady will deliver upon your request." He took a step with his right foot in front then his left foot followed behind, a quick touch at the heel with his left foot against his right one. He moved forward in this manner swaying forward and backwards while still moving forward. He swiftly struck out a blow to the right of the sword just to test how strong the steel was.

"You may be harder to hit, my small friend, but if you were to be hit it would be devistating." Breven said very sure of his abilities. "I would give you maybe three hits with my sword at best" Breven gave a quick motion with his head at the blade of his sword and smiled. He usualy gave his oponents only two hits, but Sir Morgan was a defender fo the king.
He had allways taken pride in his large blade. His teacher said that only the strongest most skilled warriors could weild such a large blade with any form of skill. Breven held his sword like a medal of honor. Althought it did hinder Breven's attack speed, it's sheer size made it hard to dodge if weilded properly.
"if it's fear she wants than she certainly has it. Looks can be deciving my friend and beleve me, she is anything but fragile." Breven said with a chuckle. "This duel is simply for fun Sir Morgan" Breven said in his most friendly tone "After I shall continue following Willow to the best of my abilities. If she turns out ot be a demon than I shall turn her over to the authorities, if not I will offer my hand in marrage." Breven wasn't so sure how he would go about doing that.
"Do not worry, after the duel there will be much time for talk" Breven said reasuringly to Sir Morgan. It was then that Breven witnessed the strangest attack he had ever seen. Sir Morgan was swaying back and fourth and moving all about. Then he attacked Breven's sword. Why would he attack my sword of all things?! Breven thought to himself.
Breven didn't plan on letting Sir Morgan prance about for much longer. He quickly turned his blade sideways so that it would knock away Sir Morgans slash. Breven then pushed the blade of his sword level with the hilt and lunged the sword at Sir Morgan with suprising speed. Either Sir Morgan would get out of the way, or Breven would have just crippled his new friend.

Breven was allmost glad his attack had missed. In a fight it's best if your oponent gives up on their own. Breven did however feel uncomfortable with the fact that there was a small man sitting on his sword and attacking his hand. breven couldn't very well let go of the hilt of his sword and he was lucky that his gauntlets protected him from the attack.
The man sitting on his sword was allmost more weight than Breven could support and he imidietly began thinking of ways to get Sir morgan off of it. Breven, with barely an instant to think decided that spinning until the little man flew off would be the best possible tactic.
"Get off of ma' sword!" Breven yelled as he began spinning. Breven hoped that the momentum of the sword would send Sir Morgan flying. The sword twirled about as Breven spun it as fast as he could. Breven couldn't help but feel a little bit dizzy but if that's what it took to win this battle than so be it.

Breven quickly shook off the dizzyness from spinning and focused on battle. This little man was quick, and breven didn't want to be caught off guard. He took his usual defencive stance with his blade down like before. I'm sure to win this match Breven thought as he prepared for the next attack.
Sir morgan did an attack that was very common to Breven. The standard rush and head thrust. Breven was ready for it though and thrusted his sword as he had done previously. This attack was with the blunt side and probibly would only knock the wind out of Sir Morgan.
When the nimble man went between Breven's legs Breven's thrust stuck his sword cleanly in the ground. A second later Breven felt the tip of a sword on his neck. In normal circumstances the fight would have gone to Sir Morgan, but he asked Breven if he wished to continue.
"Of course I do!" Breven said as he leaped over his sword, pulled the handle back and let it fling at Sir Morgan. The sword was thick, but Breven was a big man and the sword bent under his strength. When Breven released the sword it made a strange noise as it flung back and fourth. This attack would knock someone pretty good, and would be especially hard to dodge while falling.
"Gotcha!" Breven yelled excitidly as he turned around to check if he had hit Sir Morgan or not. The man was nimble but he hardly could have predicted an attack like that coming. Breven was quite proud of his fighting skill and smiled a little.
