Good Bye Try Town

[Xander]

Everything was every where. The fast movements of Aust were just getting faster and trying to make sure that Tyro wasn't geting involve was in the back of Xander's mind. After Xander deflect the arrows that Aust sent previously he was busy getting the Darkness off him which he did. Then he looked to see Tyro, but wasn't fast enough to see the arrow Aust had grabbed and threw back. The arrow went through his chest, making him cling to a tree that was behind him.

He took of his black suit jacket and took the arrow out his chest "Thats it!" Xander was a vampire as well as a elf, so the arrow hitting him didn't hurt a bit. The flame on the arrow it went out from all the tossing tho, so Xander didn't catch on fire.0 As Xander took it out he notice that Aust knew excatly where he was even tho the image of him should be invisble. After a couple seconds of thinking Xander realize the monocle on Aust. To himself Xander thought "Since when did Aust need a monocle...."

Xander dodge the two arrows Aust shot. Xander let them begin to burn the trees behind him. Xander began to tune his Violin to a certain frequency "lets see....." The note began to get higher. Xander decide to make the note sharp so when it played it would actually play a half step higher making the pitch perfect for the monocle to shatter into peices. With that he made a grin, his eyes went white, raised his bow, and string the most annoying yet high pitched note ever. It was impossible for the monocle to not shatter. The short and fast sound waves hitting the monocle was clearly to much for it to handle.

Just before Xander finish playing the note he saw Tyro doing something magical with Aust "Hey....don't stoop that low Tyro" Xander smiled and nodded his head "See ya around Tyro............" With that he put his attention back on Aust.

[Tyro]

Tyro gave Xander a little nod after he spoke to him. The truth was that Tyro had every intention of stooping that low. There was no sympathy for those who did not respect Tyro's power. Very few have ever survived an assassination atempt by Tyro and Aust, and that number was not about to increase.

Tyro's thoughts were inturupted by the most annoying noise Tyro had ever heard in his entire existence. "Shut up!" Tyro yelled before casting a silence spell on Xander's violin. When the horrible noise stoped Tyro smiled and gave Xander a smile and a wave.

"That was getting annoying.." Tyro explained to the instramentalist. Tyro couldn't help but feel supirior to the vampire, sitting in his protective bubble far above his head. This must be how the gods feel Tyro thought to himself. The smile on his face widened.

[Aust]

Aust covered his ears form the annoying noise coming from the violin. It then suddenly stopped and Aust smiled, but when he raised his head again he could see that the monocle had been cracked down the middle. He could still see Xander er... the Xanders... Great now there were two of them. Eh.. it shouldn't be too difficult Aust thought to himself.

He looked over at Xander and figured he should now finish him before the double vision made him queasy. He knocked another arrow and took aim at Xander. He hadn't moved much since Aust last looked at him so he knew where he was. The arrow didn't have much of an effect before, but this time he did not have a cloak on.

Aust decided against the arrow anyways. His other plan would be much easier and more fun. He put his bow and arrow away and took out his rapier. He grinned at the plan. Hopefully no miracles would happen to save Xander this time.

Aust melded with the shadows and came out of Xander's small shadow that was being cast by the starlight. He then drew back his rapier for a powerful plunge and aimed it directly at Xanders heart from his back. He pushed the blade forward at his target.

[Xander]

The Flash came again, the same one he had when he was a child. His father would get mad and start to go on a rampage around the house. When that wasn't enough his father would cut himself because of depression. Hidden feeling of his father's went through his lost soul that was found after the strike of a sword through his heart.

Xander looked at his hands they were white than ever. His skin began to turn to dust that filled the air and choked Aust with the smell of death. Just before Xander was completely gone he made a few tricks. He made the area that Aust and him were a garden of black roses and in it was an angle Entangled in the thorns bleeding and screaming for help. Slowly in the real world the thorns began to wrap around Aust and Black roses began to to open.

Out of nowhere the Cane that was Xanders came flying into the heart of the Angel killing her on contact. The cane then turned into blood splashing on Aust face. The cane turning into blood was real. It was Xanders mothers blood. It was given to him by his Father after her mothers death.

"heh........" Xander faded away into the night. His violin fell on the ground. The bow of the violin fell on Aust face making the monocle come off his face.

[Aust]

Aust yanked his rapier from Xander's back and wiped it clean on the dead man's cloak. That was fun. He cut himself free of the thorns. He walked over to where Tyro was floating. He put his weapon back into its sheath. "Well it took longer than it should have. I have to say I underestimated him. I could have done without the dramatic death though. Shame about the staff eh?" Which reminded him... He walked back over to Xander and tore a piece of cloth off of his cloak and wiped the blood off of his face.

He searched Xanders body for anything else interesting. He searched rigorously through the pockets of Xanders cloak. He found a ring with a ruby set in it. Eh.. not much but it would suffice. He also picked up the violin, Xanders hat, and took off his metal sleeve covers. These seemed to be the ones worth some money.

He walked back over to Tyro and dropped the stuff on the ground. "Come down here and split this stuff with me." He said to Tyro. Aust glanced over at the garden of black roses. It was quite an impressive display. It had to be one of the flashiest death he had seen yet. Aust glanced back up at Tyro. "Hurry up! I might start to feel guilty or something!"

[Tyro]

Tyro raised an eyebrow at the impressive display of roses and woman. He knew women don't just appear and suffer out of nowhere so he sat back and enjoyed the show. Tyro may not have thought Xander to be the most respectable mage ever, but the kid could make illusions.

It wasn't until the cane flew into the woman and turned to blood that Tyro began to get angry. "All this for that staff to turn to blood!?" He said quite angry at the dead Xander. "I'd kill him again if he wasn't undead" Tyro said in reply to Aust's comment about the staff. It wasn't unheard of for Tyro to raise a freshly killed person just to kill them again out of anger.

The site of Aust looting the body and walking over with the loot cheered Tyro up a little. He remembered back when they first started working together how they would set everything in a big pile and split it evenly. "And we certainly wouldn't want that!"

Tyro floated down to the pile and gave it a good look over. "Hmmm..." He though a second then used mage hand to pick up the hat, and the metal sleeves. "You can have the ring and violin.. unless you don't want them.. " Tyro said making sure Aust knew that Tyro would gladly take the other items.

[Aust]

Aust looked at Tyro and chuckled. "When have I ever given up wilingly something that I could sell for perfectly good gold?" The thought was absurd. Aust snatched up the ring and violin. "We should really find out exactly what enchantments are on this stuff too." Aust said. He put the ring in his pocket. Aust reached into his cloak and pulled out a small bag. He opened it up and put the violin into it. Bags of holding were fun.

Aust brushed himself off a bit and straightened his stance. "So what exactly do you need to get done so quickly? You know I don't like to rush a kill. Though it was extremely satisfying." Aust asked of Tyro. "Oh and by the way I think your monocle is a bit ruined, but honestly it was the ugliest thing I had seen. It's still over there if you want it." Aust pointed over to the rose garden and Xander's corpse. "So let's get going when you are ready."

[Tyro]

"There had to be one time." Tyro thought for a second and couldn't really remember a single time that Aust had given up an item he didn't have to. "Well.. If you .. Well I guess never" Tyro said somewhat suprised by his companions greed.

Tyro cast a quick detect magic spell on all items. "Hmm.. the violin can grow and well I think that's about it." The lack of magic on this illusionist was amasing to Tyro. "I guess he really was just a poor fool with a decent staff.. " Tyro said allmost caring that he killed a man he once drank with.

"I was in a hurry because, my friend, we are going to build us a stronghold." Tyro said as he put the new metal sleeves and hat on. "I'm thinking one like our first, works perfectly, but not too spectacular." Tyro knew Aust would remember the beaten up old fort they used to call home.

Tyro was then reminded of the monicle. He lifted it with a spell, magicly fixed it, and placed it in one of his many pockets. "This may come in handy later, ugly or not." With that Tyro opened a portal and waited for Aust to walk through it.

[Aust]

Aust was not surprised to hear that they were going to build a stronghold. He was actually thinking of a simlar thing. Aust was disappointed to hear that the ring did not have a magical enchantment. "So where exactly are we going to build this stronghold, and how are we going to get the money to pay for the materials?"

"And are you serious? I hate that damn lens. It cramps my style." Aust chuckled. He never really cared what he looked like. As long as no one suspected him of being a thief. Though the monocle was quite an ugly accessory.

Tyro opened a portal and Aust thought of the time Tyro sent him to the Astral plane for kicks. "I am not going through that first. The Astral plane is a place I don't wish to visit again thank you very much." He crossed his arms showing his defiance. "You go first." Aust said.

[Tyro]

"I'm thinking somewhere in the TearGon mountains." Tyro said. "And you of all people should know how we are getting the gold for it" Tyro said shooting Aust a grin. "Plus if I magicly help the workmen they may give us a discount" Tyro said remembering the time he cast streength spells on a workforce and got himself a castle for allmost nothing.

"Don't be such a baby..." Tyro said allmost laughing remembering the time he sent Aust to the Astral plane just for kicks. Tyro had no time for Aust's stubborn attitude and simply pulled him into the portal with magic. A quick spell and Aust was sucked into the portal like a leaf in a windstorm.

"heh, sorry about that Aust.. but I wanted one of these." Tyro said as he pulled the monicle out of his pocket and looked at the black roses. Yup they were real allright, and beautifle specimins at that. Tyro pulled out a dagger, trimmed the plant, and put it in a bag of holding, roots and all.

"I'll have to examin you later" Tyro said to the plant as he put the bag into his pocket and walked throught the portal right after Aust. "And that's the end of that"
