So, I started off my last spawn with over a dozen little wigglies. Now I'm down to four fast growing ones. XD I have a feeling they bullied out the smaller guys like what happened with my last spawn. Which I'm cool with since four is a nice little number.

Now, they're old enough to start getting a little color on their fins. It's so much fun to see the red leaking through on all the tiny little finnies. But there's one little fry that's standing out. He/she is the same size as the rest, but while the others all have their dark eyes with their little red hints, this lil' guy is remaining clear....with stunning blue eyes.

*rubs hands* I had to share my excitement. I think there might be something going on with this one fry. What can I say, I'm loving him/her. Sorry for lack of pictures, but my camera isn't THAT good  I keep promising that I'll get a decent camera...some day. I'm loving the siblings as well XD I was greeted today after going to my biological daughter's baptism by four little fry faces lined up like "Ma. MA. Where HAVE you been? Can't you see we're STARVING?"

My red betta had blue eyes when i first bought him and for a year after, but now his eyes are now dark as he's gotten older. His blue eyes were what initially caught my eye at the petstore
