It was a long day for Madison. She had been wandering around trying to find a new place of employment, because she was let go from the household she had been working at as a servant for the past five years. The Lady of the house had caught her stealing, while cleaning the bedroom. She had threatened to have Madison arrested, which was something Madison didn’t want to happen, so Madison began to threaten her. She wasn’t threatening to kill her, but she threatened to tarnish the household name, by revealing to society about the affair between her and the master, which had been going on since she first started working there. The Lady was not happy to hear about her husband’s indiscretions with the servant and didn’t want to be turned away from her society friends, so she agreed that she wouldn’t have Madison arrested if she promised never to tell a soul about the affair and that she had to leave the house and never return. So Madison did so, but it now meant she didn’t have a full time job anymore.
Even though Madison was momentarily out of a servant job, it didn’t mean that she couldn’t still earn money. Most of the day, besides searching for new employment, she kept herself busy with some pick-pocking to make up for losing a day’s pay. She ended up with nice amount, but it still wasn’t enough for her. So she went back to her small place and changed out of her outfit which was acceptable for her class to wear to try to get a job, to something much nicer and made her appear like she belonged into at least the middle class. It was a beautiful red and black dress, that accentuated her curves and breasts. She put her flaming red hair up in a nice up do, with strands falling out of it here and there. She then worked on making-up, making herself look flawless and something no man could resist. She then put on a minimum amount of jewelry and perfume to finish off her look. After looking herself over in the mirror, she grabbed the money she stole that day and went out.
It was dusk, though there were still people wandering the streets, mainly in groups or couples. Madison ignored them, mainly because it was impossible to seduce someone into giving her money when they are with other people. Besides, even though she loved attention, she didn’t like the look they were giving her, since she was a single woman walking through the streets on her own without an escort. She tried not to care what they could possibly be thinking of her and continued on her way. Madison knew exactly where she was going, The Hog’s Head, mainly because she managed to get a few tricks there before and she was determined to get a few more tonight.
When Madison walked through the door, she had a sly smirk playing on her lips as she looked around the place. It wasn’t packed, but it wasn’t empty either. She found an empty table and sat down. Madison ordered a firewhiskey and sipped on it, waiting to see if anyone would approach her or until she spotted a good target.
