Appearance: A hulk of a man at 6'3, Jibrill stands tallest in any crowd and has a muscular build to fill out the frame. His skin is dark, his hair short to the point that it is almost nonexistent, and his entire body is covered with dark tribal tattoos, something the circus proprietor thought would add to his allure. He has black hair, brown eyes, and is right-handed. His circus garb consists of ratty, baggy pants in neutral colors and no shirt, and while off the clock he wears whatever he can get his hands on.
History:
1857 - Jibrill is born to a previously enslaved and still very poor family in Turkey, the third child but the first to survive past age five.
1860 - Aamira is born and their mother dies.
1865 - Aamira is betrothed at age five and decides to run away from home; she convinced Jibrill, nine, to go with her to keep her safe along the way. They set out across Europe.
1866 - Having barely survived one year, Jibrill, ten, and Aamira, six, are taken in by gypsies.
1867 - Jibrill and Aamira, eleven and seven, begin travelling with the gypsies. Jibrill receives a letter from an owl, but cannot read it and disregards it.
1870 - Aamira, ten, is attacked and almost raped by one of the gypsie men, and has an outburst of magic which saves her. The gypsies, all Muggles, turn the children out for their strange, inexplicable magic.
1871 - While performing on the street and travelling on their own, Aamira receives a letter like her brother, but disregards it. Later that year, they discover a magical circus and join it. Their magic, severally underdeveloped, begins to flourish under some new teaching, and Aamira learns to read, though Jibrill never sees the point.
1872 - Jibrill works running errands and making food to be sold, while Aamira discovers the Pegasi and immediately falls in love. She begins learning to take care of them.
1875 Jibrill, eighteen, becomes a Fire-Eater, and is much happier being able to perform. Aamira, fifteen, has her first flirtation with another carnie, but things do not work out and she is continuously bitter about it. She has not trusted men since.
1880 - Aamira becomes the primary caretaker of the Pegasi at age twenty.
1882 - Present Day!
Personality: Jibrill has never been one for brains, necessarily, but he does have a heart bigger than an elephant. He would never hurt a fly, goes out of his way not to irritate others, and loves to make people, especially children, laugh. Incredibly quiet, he has a tendency to get pushed around by many of the carnies or customers, but he doesn't mind much. It takes a lot to get him upset.
