» 75 Face Claim Questions

I'm too lazy to find the other thread, but I have a question about this. It was brought up in the CB. It's said that once a character reaches 75 posts, they become "immortal" but what if the same person who used the face wants to use the face for another character?

Example: Regan reaches 75 posts and I drop Regan. Can I use Marlon Teixiera for another character I make, since they're both mine, or would that be not allowed?

The playby is reserved for that same character only. Not for the player.

What if the character is a canon, though? If I disappeared and Merry was claimed I would love to make a character similar to her. Would that mean I lose Isabelle as well?

It's reserved for that character played by that player, whether or not they're a canon. So if you lose Merry, someone will have to use a different playby if you get 75 posts with her. You can only use that playby again if you pick up Merry once more (which obviously isn't possible if someone else picks her up.)

What about death? If I threw Maud off a cliff tomorrow, would her pb be free again?

Also, could someone use a face for two characters? And if both reached 75 then the face would be reserved for both?

I'm not sure I understand the question completely.

If for twins, it's reserved for whichever twin gets 75. If both get 75, it's reserved for both. If neither do, neither gets it reserved.

If it's for a player with two characters that have the same face (which would be odd), the same rules for the twins would be applied.

I think the question is for shared PBs. Rose and I both use T.Swift. What happens if we both get to 75 posts with our characters using her?

Could a player perhaps waive the character's dibs? It seems a little silly to have [insert popular face of the time] perpetually reserved by a player who no longer desires the character - or even a generous one who doesn't want to make other people miss out on the face.

If they really wanted to, I suppose they could. It would need to be told officially to staff by the player who doesn't want the playby reserved for their character. ^^ Which I suppose would be a loophole to reuse it for a different character of theirs...

So, just to make sure I understand- If Ceri reaches 75 posts, then Taylor Swift will be reserved for Ceri. Then if Rose's character gets to 75 posts, as well, Taylor Swift will be reserved for both?

I fully intend to kill William. I do not imagine this is a secret. I know that ordinarily the dead lose their faces unless they remain to haunt folk, but if I hit 75 before he dies do I get to keep Colin all to myself <3333 get his face immortalized as well?
