As you are no doubt aware the Gryffindor Team suffered greatly due to the ban enforced against females losing several key players including their Captain. The team has instead been functioning without a Captain since that time with all decisions and responsibilities being shared out between the senior members until a decision over who would inherit leadership could be properly made and determined.
