Appearance: Elmira is a young girl which means she has much growing to anticipate in the future. At present, Elmira stands at a four foot eight. She has straight, sandy-colored hair. Elmira doesn¡¦t do much with her hair, much to her mother¡¦s chagrin, and usually leaves her hair down where the wind would be able to swish it about her face when she ran. Mae Gale is often exasperated and complaining that both of her children were foolish for not styling their hair properly. Jorah and Elmira were similar in many ways but their refusal to do anything remotely close to neat and tame was something they both shared individually.
Another similarity both Jorah and Elmira shared was being one of those rare, left-handed wand-wielders. As for clothing, Elmira¡¦s obviously has a difficulty in gaining clothing that is not ragged or faded. Of course, for her eleventh birthday she was granted second hand Hogwarts¡¦ robes, but even though it was second hand the robe was hardly faded or ragged. She dresses in mostly reds, light blues, or pinks. Her attire is usually a dress that fits her form which was only about four dresses. Her mother is finding it difficult to acquire larger fabrics for her daughter¡¦s growing form.
As for her face, Elmira has a sort of feminine square jaw adorned with sparkling blue eyes. Elmira is a very lively little girl so it is natural to see a smile upon her face. Even in the most dire of situations, she smiles to ease tension.
History: Spring 1870: Elmira is born to two loving parents by the name of Daniel and Mae Gale. It was a difficult birth, but Mae Gale survived the birth along with her only daughter and last child, if not for the unfortunate event of gaining childbed fever soon after. Daniel Gale had been frantic for about two months until his wife had gotten better and tried with all his strength to stay strong for his young, healthy daughter which he christened Elmira , after his late mother. Mae had been a bit miffed that her husband had christened the new born infant without her consult, but was more than appeased when she had learned the child was in need of a middle name. Mae had chosen Luella as a contribute to her dear friend, Luella France. Thus, Elmira Luella Gale was named.
Summer 1870: Elmira had been two months old of when she had officially been introduced to her older brother. Jorah had been able to come see his family due to the emergency of his mother¡¦s illness, but was always forced to return to the school after summer vacation had ended. It was recollected that soon during the 1870 summer that Elmira would let no one else hold her besides Jorah, her mother, and father. Daniel and Mae were pleased that their youngest child had taken to their eldest so quickly.
Spring 1872: Elmira learnt to speak and walk, and Mae Gale was astonished of how alike her daughter and son were as little babies. Elmira¡¦s curiosity had begun to pique, as well. On impulse, she would toddle on her little legs and follow the butterfly, curious of where its whereabouts were located. To be frank, Mae and Daniel were constantly searching and running after their young daughter; though the young girl never went as far as the house two blocks down where small kittens were willing to play.
Autumn 1874: Elmira had shown her first act of magic. It was on a thunderous and windblown even of when it occurred. Elmira had been outside when the storm had begun and therefore came into the house shivering and clothes soaked. After being reprimanded by her mother for being so foolish as to venture so far from home, Elmira had been commanded to sit by the fire in order for her hair to dry and to get what little warmth the small fire provided. In front of her, there was a window displaying how horrid the weather was becoming and the little tree nearly off its hinges. Elmira began to panic at the sight of the small tree. She and Jorah had planted it during one of his stays and it had been growing marvelously due to Elmira¡¦s good tending to it. In her panic, Elmira put her hands against the glass and closed her eyes, wishing that there was some way to save the small tree from becoming a goner. A few moments later, Daniel put a hand on his daughter¡¦s shoulder and insisted that she open her eyes. There was the small tree, standing proudly and hardly even swaying as all the others were. Chortling at his daughter¡¦s obvious astonishment and amazement, Daniel called out to his wife, ¡§Mae, we¡¦ve got ¡¥nother one!¡¨
Winter 1876: Jorah had come home to spend the Holidays with his parents and younger sister. Despite their thirteen year age difference, Elmira was quite fond of her older brother. He knew the ways to make her laugh or to console her. She often used to tease him and say that if he had not been her brother, Jorah would have been the man she would call as her husband. However, Daniel and Mae left the responsibility of confessing that their daughter was a witch to their son whom probably had more knowledge of the new world than they did. Elmira hung on to every word her older brother had said that evening and was constantly interrupting his speaking by asking questions. To say the least, Jorah¡¦s throat felt slightly irritated the next morning.
Summer 1878: Elmira¡¦s Godmother, a spinster referred to as Miss Luella France, was very fond of anything leafy green or containing the scent of floral. Elmira spent a great deal of time with Luella during the summer of 1878 and became obsessed with plants. Each day after her chores had been fulfilled; Elmira would rush out of the small house and towards the home only a few blocks down. Aunt Lulu, as she came to refer her to, owned every plant imaginable residing in her Green House. Elmira constantly returned home seemingly in a daze. Mae came to the conclusion that the plant fumes were rotting her daughter¡¦s young, undeveloped brain and therefore refused to let Elmira return to Miss France¡¦s home for the remainder of the summer.
1878-1880: Nothing deemed interesting occurred during the years of 1878 to 1880. Whenever he was able, Jorah would return home entertain and attempt to fulfill Elmira¡¦s wishes and desires. Unbeknownst to Jorah however, his actions of spoiling his younger sister were a kind of negative influence. Elmira was able to comprehend the fine line between want and need; and need has more often outweighed want. Given this fact, Elmira became a bit sarcastic and immature. With her parents, Elmira is intelligent enough to resist demanding for the things she wants; but when she is with Jorah, it is slightly different. She respects the fact that her brother did not have much money so she only acquires the little stuff such as candies or a cheap book.
Yes, Elmira is one of those rare Lower Class young children whom can actually pronounce and read her words correctly. Aunt Lulu had been irritated by her goddaughter¡¦s lack of perfect pronunciation, and with Daniel and Mae¡¦s consent, had begun teaching Elmira how to read and write. Though Elmira knew her basics of reading and writing, she was hardly excellent at both. She seemed to be able to read better than she could write which and had been motivated to read more books or just newspaper articles to become an avid reader.
Jorah seems to be a different person when he comes home and Elmira was too shy as to inquire why he seemed so down and out of spirits.
Autumn 1881: After having acquired her Hogwarts letter, Elmira was excited for the school term to begin. She had eagerly awaited September for five months and now it was finally going to begin!
Personality: Elmira is definitely a very hyperactive and demanding child. Due to being constantly spoiled has done this to her developing personality which could be an inconvenience to her future. Elmira has a tendency to think of herself before others. Consider this an unfortunate quality to possess, but she had been often given praises during her lifetime which amplified her self-esteem. Though highly conceited and convinced of herself, Elmira possesses the quality of being an affectionate and dependent young lady. One would not find a more trustworthy girl than Miss Gale when it comes to advice or little favors; though she is by no means very honest. Though Elmira chooses her friends according to her first impressions of them, she is definitely an animated person which leads her to gain friends easily. Elmira is a little critical. She tends to criticize a person by her first impressions on them. She cannot rid of this quality of hers.

Boggart: A older version of herself in rags. Elmira fears that her future will never change. She fears that she would be an unfortunate, impoverished plebian for the rest of her life. She yearns for pretty dresses, shoes, jewelry, etc. Her heart and her mind was determined to marry above her class for a chance to live a life she could finally be content with.
