Nimrod is an average sized Goblin, standing at around the same height as a 5 year old human. He has a long, pointy nose and equally pointed large ears. He has many lines and wrinkles on his face and normally a deep set scowl on his forehead. He has wispy black, graying hair hair and is often seen wearing rather faded clothing.
Nimrod had an ordinary start in Goblin life; there was nothing unusual about his family and he was raised as every Goblin should be. His father was a very skilled Silversmith and taught him from a young age how to craft beautiful and strong objects from the material. Instead of devoting his life to the forging of silver objects, however, Nimrod decided he wished to work at Gringotts as of 1822.
He worked there contentedly until 1879, well, as contentedly as possible for him. Things took a change for the worse though when accusations of theft began flying. A human had claimed his vault had been stolen from and though there was no conclusive evidence, the fact that Nimrod had been known to have been accessing the nearby vaults, the blame was shifted to him. Nimrod was innocent - the goblins morals clearly seeing thievery as a despicable act. Unfortunately, the odds and the suspicion stacked against him and he lost his position at Gringotts as well as all respect from his fellow Goblins. The majority see him as a common thief and refuse to associate with him.
What was already a bitter and grouchy Goblin, became a very narrow minded, judgmental and vile individual. While his race are known for being far from 'warm and fuzzy', he is even more foul-tempered than the rest of his species, harboring a severe loathing for all humans and resentment for other Goblins for making him an outcast. Nowadays, he spends most of his days drinking in the Hog's Head and occasionally forging objects of silver to keep his pockets lined. He can often be found rather drunk and rude, preferring to numb the cold sting of alienation with a large drink.
Personality: Nimrod is a very foul-tempered and bitter goblin. He needs no provocation or reason to snap or act aggressively, he does as he pleases because he has nothing left to lose. Deep down there is a softer, more pleasant side but it would take the most persistent of beings to draw it out, certainly someone who isn't afraid of being called every name under the sun. He has an instant hatred for all humans as he blames them all for his fall from grace.
Boggart: Losing his ability to forge silver. It's all he has left. In a physical form it's usually shown as himself without hands.
Amortentia: Molten silver, the underground tunnels of Gringotts, the smell of money.
