Saturday, July 21st, 1883 @ 10:00am.
"It is a bright and sunny day that greets our last quidditch semi-finals, which means we should see a much safer game than the last! Whichever team wins today will be going up against Egypt to win the title of the 1883 Quidditch World Cup Champions!

The teams playing today are France and Japan - France will be starting with the quaffle.

For substitutions, we have French second string beater Neville Tremblay playing as a first string. Japan has no substitutions for this game.

The whistle blows - and they're off!"

First string players have until 07/03/13 @ 10:00am CST to post in the match. If they do not, they will be counted as absent from the game.

Xavier flew in front of the goalposts with his hands clasped on the handle of the broomstick. This was it; this was the thing they had been training for for ages!

If anything they had to win just to spite that damned Egyptian chaser, Pasha.

Get the quaffle, he thought, get the damned quaffle, come on now!

Faye was glad that game day had finally came, and with things going as well with Xave as they were she couldnt be in a better mood.

Seeing the quaffle up for grabs, Faye grabbed the avaliable quaffle.

Kenta was having a good day, it seemed to be a perfect day for quidditch. Their team was in erfect shape and without any need for second string, so he would say the odds were in their favor.

As soon as the game started he began chasing the french chaser who had the quaffle, hoping to snatch it from her as soon as possible.

Kenshin was grateful for the sun. Hopefully, this would be a good day for Japan...

... IF ONLY THEIR CHASERS COULD DO THEIR JOB. Once he realized that one of the French women had the quaffle, Kenshin targeted a bludger at her.

The game had begun! Shortly before the start of the match, Florian had taken a quick glance over the stadium and felt quite pleased with the number of females filling the stands. As the quaffle went into French possession, Florian wasn't really needed yet but there was something to be said for battering the opposition before they became serious opposition.

Grasping his beaters club firmly, he smacked a bludger towards Tsukino.

With Tsukino being targeted by the beaters Genta followed his path in a parallel motion, effectively covering Lyon on either side so if she passed either side there would be somebody to try to intercept the quaffle.

Margaux was relieved that the weather was fair—it was under such circumstances that the seeker was at her best. As she kicked off the ground, the witch glanced about, hoping her eyes would lock quickly onto Kita. If she could not find the snitch, her opposition was the next best thing; it would not do to let him get the jump on her. Her endeavor was quickly a success, and Margaux drifted towards him, but not too close, as she looked about her for the snitch.

Yoshirou thought it a shame that Japan had not started with the quaffle. They had, in his opinion, a solid trio of chasers: almost certainly they would have taken an early lead under such circumstances. As his teammates flew to either side of Lyon, he lingered back a ways—he could always zoom towards the hoops in a pinch, but wanted to be far enough up pitch to have a clearer route to the French goals.

Hiroshi was a different person on the field. He was never agressive or violent outside of it, but when he played it was like a beast came into him. When the man saw Chevalier targeting a bludgr at Kenta, he quickly flew in the way to direct that bludger in the direction of Lyon.

Dominique decided to be Lyon's tail just in case. Japanese team was full of men and they would not be playing nice. So Dominique flew close to Faye. Close enough to catch the quaffle if she was to drop it.

Andre loved the nice weather but he had almost hoped for a little bit of wind or something to temper the skies. It always made for a more interesting game that way and he was the type of player that really thrived in those moments. But he would deal with the nicer, warmer weather. He watched with keen brown eyes as one of his female counterparts took control of the quaffle. Not hesitating to think of the Japanese tailing her, he made a point of speeding ahead of the other chasers. He attempted to position himself in the best spot to receive a pass so he'd be able to make a quick shot at the keeper in an attempt to make a goal.

Angry seeing the French get the Quaffle, Kohaku angrily defended his hoops, flying around them keeping his eyes open and dead set on the Quaffle. The fortunate sunny weather would be good for keeping his eyes peeled on the Quaffle. Now he just had to defend against the overly sexed French.

"Miss Lyon is the first to take the quaffle!

Tsukino keeps close on her tail.

Japan wastes no time! Murayama sends a bludger her way - and it's a miss!

In defense, Chevalier sends a bludger back at the Japanese beater. It's a hit! That'll leave some bruising.

Japan is not phased - Kimura and Tsukino have her sandwhiched between them.

Japan sends anothe bludger toward Miss Lyon - sent by Shirakawa this time - and it's another miss!

Miss Belland keeps close to her teammate. There's quite a cluster of chasers around the quaffle.

Duval positions himself for a pass."

Sora had been ready for the match for weeks. His confidence had been given a big boost when Britain had lost to Egypt. He had been certain that the host country would win simply because of the advantage they had had regarding the weather conditions. That had proved false, however, and he was quite confident that Japan would be able to beat Egypt in the end. A match against France was almost a joke. They allowed the weaker sex to actually play as equals, something Japan had never (and as far as he believed, would never) be dumb enough to allow.

He was even going up against a female seeker. There was no questioning that Japan would win. It was just a matter of when.

He squinted at the woman as she flew near him. He didn't care whether she watched him the entire time or not - he would catch the snitch before her.
