Clarissa was, even though it was almost midnight, walking in the streets. To keep herself hidden, she had a cloak on and had pulled the hat over her hair and she felt safe when she was walking here. The moon was not very easy to find, but she still had the stars shining overhead, carefully blinking. She gave a silent sigh and looked up at the sky, enjoying the nightly cold wind, without thinking anything could go wrong. She had decided not to tell her brother that she was going out, so she had a sense of freedom, before he would come and find her and drag her home. She knew he would prefer if she had a husband to keep her in check, but she didn’t exactly like the thought of being married.

Pretty blonde french maid magalie Magalie checked over her appearance with a delicate eye as she made herself up to appear to be more than the maid she was, in the clothes she'd rather call her seductress wear. She prodded and pushed at her bosom to so they rose high enough to be seen and put to advantage in her dress. She missed her dresses of old where the fashion wasn't to button the area away. She ran a critical eye over her appearance to realized that she confident that it was as perfect as she could manage and stepped out onto the streets. She smiled and courted but by midnight she found herself alone in the night air. Magalie spun on her heels, and decided that perhaps it was time to follow her nose. It twitched as it picked up a scent that she recognized and she followed it dreamily. She had only met girl owner of the scent very recently but hadn't expected its' owner to be out at that hour. She'd always assumed if she'd wanted her blood she'd have to try another method rather than the one she used on fast food. She drew closer to it. She wasn't bothering to conceal herself - she hadn't committed herself to the hunt yet. Template by Emily

Pretty blonde french maid magalie Magalie's footfalls barely made any sound but as she realised that the figure that she saw clearly, that from some chance or fate that she'd ended up ahead of the girl from the bookstore. She made sure that she didn't allow herself to be drawn into the light and be seen and instead she lurked with the girl in her sight, content for the moment to just watch. She considered drawing close to her and pondered whether or not her presence would put the girl on alert. Some girls would calm down in the presence of another woman which often made her hunt that much more delightful whilst others... well others would recognise her for the predator she was and become alert. As she watched the girl readjust her cloak to allow her hair to flow freely she decided to take her chances, afterall she was either extremely confident about her abilities to drive off any of the night terrors or incredibly naive to the fact. She took a deep breath and a few steps backwards as she ran as fast, as she judged as the person she appeared to be would run and timed her collision to the second and ran straight into the girl.Template by Emily

Pretty blonde french maid magalie Magalie stared at the woman for a moment, and got her bearings. She had thought that perhaps the girl had figured out exactly what she was in the bookstore but perhaps... well, it was probably obvious that she hadn't. If she had she wouldn't have asked such a silly question after all it was night and the best time of day for a vampire to hunt (best time simply because she didn't have to worry about the threat of the sun). She loved the night and all the advantages it gave. She straightened herself and her skirts and tried to look surprised. "I was running," she said and made a show of looking behind her as she spun a tale that she could work with. She might've considered becoming a player or actor had they not been considered already whores and wouldn't allow her and her sister to come into contact with the riches and money they clearly deserved. "A man... was, well he was chasing me." She made a show of shaking herself and perhaps the thought away as she pretended to look at Clarissa for the first time and pretended to recognise her. "Ohhh! I know you! You are from the bookshop... whatever are you doing out at this time of night?" She made a show of looking into the alley she'd come from again. It was a classic play of hers. She'd make people think she was being chased and they'd come away with her to somewhere that they thought was safe. It gave her extra time, association and sometimes the opportunity to feed.Template by Emily

Pretty blonde french maid magalie Magalie stared at the other blonde with a touch of skepticism and she wondered if any woman chased would be comforted by the presence of numbers. She and Natalie had been chased all over England by a rapid vampire for most of their time alive - in fact that very same vampire had been the reason that Natalie had turned and Magalie had very nearly died. She would very well have if Natalie hadn't turned her as well. All the same two women together was no protection none at all, but if the woman assumed that two was protection... well it may have made Magalie's job that much easier. "Oh..." She said and made to turn around once more... "Is that so..." She made a show of realizing that the girl had continued to speak and turned back to her. "I have a sister... she's very protective of me so I suppose I can understand the need to want to be away from siblings..."Template by Emily

Pretty blonde french maid magalie Magalie's eyebrows rose a little at the thought of the woman feeling more safe around her. It was touching in a strange sort of way that the girl thought that she'd be safer around her. She was a vampire afterall, and most likely a predator far worse than something a sweet innocent girl who thought it was safe to travel out of doors, alone and at night could ever imagine. It made Magalie wonder if the girl was gifted in magic, if she had magic perhaps that was the reason she thought the streets at night were safe. It made her remember her previous idea about blood... and magic... "And your father let you out at this time of night?" She wondered if she'd accurately guessed whether or not the girl had three siblings. Three siblings who weren't at home to miss her if she went away. Magalie usually took men because they were easier to catch and more then often didn't live at home and weren't easily missed. Women caused a stir because people still felt like they should protect them. She felt her eyes became drawn the woman as she took shallower breathes - though what had set them off Magalie didn't know, nor did she care... though perhaps now she was a little more interested. Clarissa smiled at her own thoughts. She liked to look at the stars and felt so small whenever she looked at them, she felt like the entire universe was part of her, and that feeling made her feel fragile, but at the same time she felt stronger than anything. She wanted to run around and scream, all the freedom out of her, but she couldn’t. One reason was the dress, it was almost impossible to run in, second, she had learned that a lady never screamed without reason, and third, she was a little bit afraid of what the other woman would think, it would probably seem crazy or something like that.
”Not exactly, my father died some years ago, so my older brother is taking care of the family” she said slowly. It still hurt talking about her parents, and it seemed a little bit strange to talk about them with a completely stranger who didn’t know anything about their family, or had any relation to them.

Pretty blonde french maid magalie "I'm sorry to bring that up, it must be painful." Magalie purred, inwardly delighted at the news. Three absentee siblings and two dead parents as well as a habit of wandering the streets after night fall was a recipe for disaster....and made her prime pickings for somebody such as herself. "My own parents were killed quite some time ago." She added as she began to wonder, and pick and plot about the easiest way to get this woman away from the eyes of the city to somewhere more private... intimate where she could feast... She hadn't had thought originally. She'd wanted to take her time with this one. They could be playing games... and Magalie couldn't wait to see the whites of her eyes and the heaves on her bodice as the woman realised how trapped she was. She could be a plaything in this over alert city. Magalie hadn't had a plaything since Natalie had gotten sick of the other one and killed it. Her sister's jealousy was something Magalie didn't understand at all... after all her playthings weren't the same as they were. Template by Emily

Clarissa nodded to say thanks for the sorry. She had preferred not to think about it, but her own parents had died, and she had to live with it, even though it hurt her most of the time. Over the years, the pain was worst when she talked about it, especially at night, it never hurt the same way when she talked to Brandan, Cai or Wen about it. Clarissa quickly started gasping for wind, she hated wearing a corset, it hurt a lot, but she didn’t took it off, for the families sake, but because of the corset she sometimes had to take small, quick breaths instead of her usual relaxed breathing.
