Appearance:
A lot of people say that Marvolo looks like a snake. He, of course is proud about that, because it shows that he is the true heir of Salazar Slytherin. Although he is only eleven years of age, Marvolo is tall, about 5'6'' inches tall. He is slim and not especially muscular, even if he is physically strong. The way he walks and moves, strongly reminds you to a snake, nonchalantly but the same time quite gracefully. He has small, light green eyes and really full lips. Just like all the other Gaunts, Marvolo has fair skin and straight, dark hair. He is ambidextrous.
Marvolo surely, can not be described as a fashionable person. Due to his family's poverty, his clothes are plain and dark in colour, not that he cares. One ring is the most important thing he possess, his present for his 11th birthday. Marvolo is especially proud of his ring, sign that he is a true heir of Salazar Slytherin. He is capable of killing anyone who dares to touch it without his perimission.
History: Marvolo grew up in a poor family, but he was raised knowing that he is way more important than any other Upper Class child. He was speaking with reptiles from a young age and unlike other children he was never afraid of snakes or lizards. Marvolo would rather have a king cobra snake as pet rather than a puppy. He was always a proud child and believed that all the other children should always listen to him and do whatever he wants them to do since he is a descendant of Salazar Slytherin.
At the age of 11, Marvolo reseived his letter from Hogwarts. To celebrate, his father gave him Salazar Slytherin's ring, the family's most important possession. Marvolo of course, was sorted in Slytherin and since that day he is bullying all the other students and never loses an opportunity to show off his ring. Marvolo is a bully and enjoys making students from other Houses feel miserable. The only house he kind of respects is Ravenclaw, but he still dislikes its "nerds".
After the huge scandal which caused all the female students banned from Quidditch, he tried off for the Quidditch Team and became a Chaser. Although Marvolo is not a huge Quidditch lover, he thinks that he deserves a position in the team just for being Salazar Slytherin's descendant. Truth to be told, he kind of worked hard to get his position, but now he thinks that the school is his.
