Lemme Riddle you a ditty, it's just a little bitty, little thing on mind
, about a boy and a girl tryin' to take on the world one kiss at a time
Connie wasn't quite sure where she was going. Jesse was following her, of that much she was certain, but for what cause? It's not as if she snuck out of her house for an entire week, spent her birthday entangled in her boyfriend's arms and then lied about all of it. Well, Gabe and Jesse didn't know that she lied. They knew she was acting suspicious, that much was certain, but they couldn't know about Cailean. Could they?

Her fingers lingered on the necklace Cai bought her as she pushed through the crowd. The necklace, a small garnet in a solitaire setting, has remained unacknowledged thus far. Gabe didn't notice it when he was screaming at her, she wasn't wearing it when she talked to Jesse, it was special. And it was yet another secret she possessed.

Perhaps she was being overdramatic when it came to the necklace and Cai. Her family would be happy for her right? He didn't buy her a ring, he didn't get down on one knee and propose. He gave her a birthday present. It was nothing more than a birthday present. Then why did she feel like it was more? Maybe because of what happened afterwards, it wasn't an exactly chaste situation.

Turning another corner, Connie leaned against the side of the building. She'd stay here for a few minutes, she decided, to make sure she got Jesse off her trail.

She wasn't exactly following her sister per say. At least, she hadn't been at first and she wasn't sure if she was even still. Vix had simply been out and about, doing her thing when she'd seen the girl walk by that had very much seemed to look like Connie. However, the girl also seemed very...odd in the way she moved. As though she was trying to run away from the shadow at her heels instead of just strolling along. Was she avoiding someone, and if so who and why?Uncertain at first it even was her big sister, Vix had a little too late shot out from the crowd in high street and attempted to follow the figure. From behind her Vix could only see the girls back and that made if very difficult for a sound identification. She would have yelled but then in high street she suspected her voice would have been drowned out by all the noise of people walking, riding and bartering for better costs of products. Thus, she had followed along behind the person. Trying to catch up but always seeming to stay ten steps behind. It was though each time Vix made a run for it to try to catch up, Connie upped her speed or disappeared behind some wall or corner before Vix could manage to get to her. Grumping out with a sigh as Vix lowered down from her tip toes to see her, maybe, sister dip back behind another wall out of sight, the young witch began to push through the crowd with determination. Finding herself abruptly free of it and sharply shooting out from around the corner - to the point of passing Connie by five feet - in a stumbling run. It took Vix only a moment to realize that Connie was now behind her and spun quickly with a cry of relieved exclamation. "Connie!" Glad to finally know for certain it was indeed her sister she'd been following all this time. "What are you doing here! I've been trying to catch up to you for blocks but you kept dodging me!" She said, though she smiled and didn't seem at all annoyed. "What on merlins green grass are you doing?"TEMPLATE coded by EMILY
