Please do not use this in the Daily Prophet for the sake of plot purposes. This thread happens in private because it's like three in the morning and she will not have been seen, overheard or otherwise noticed because they have taken the proper precautions by wearing a hooded cloak and being very good at sneaking around. Not to mention cemeteries aren't popular at that time of night.

Galina had little care as her house elf tried to tell her to be careful. The stupid little creature actually thought her as frail as she looked and she merely hissed a few choice words to make it leave her be. It wasn't even supposed to have seen her leaving her room with her cloak wrapped around her and yet it had. Of course the pathetic thing apologized before turning to leave though she felt no sense of guilt. It's life's obligation was to heed her every request and what she wanted then was to be left to sneak out of her home. So she grabbed her cloak tighter around her and whispered a cloaking charm that would make her less noticeable before leaving her house quietly as she could.

Her mother would disapprove, of course. But her father - the one she was going to see - would understand and even feel pride that his daughter were as cunning as she was. It had been a month since he died and Galina did this sneaking out to see him often. Though she knew it was a sentimental though - she knew her father was there only in headstone - she felt a bit of peace from visiting the grave and speaking as though he were really there. He had been her everything. Her tutor, her confidant, the one who cared for her when she needed it. He had taught her how to use her magic well, how to be an occlumens to perfection and even how to be a legilimens. He had helped her keep her secret blood feedings just that and how to make sure no one would ever know her secrets.

It went without saying that when she reached his grave she easily conjured a single rose of white which were his favorite and knelt down to the headstone and read of pleasantries that no one really knew a thing about. Her mother - though Galina loved her dearly - was so different from her father. Her father saw the strength in her where her mother wished to make her a wilting flower. Her father knew, however, that it would be a dishonor to her to make her be just as every other woman was. For she was so much better, so much stronger. She missed her father and though she hated sentimentality it was the man who had saved and raised her - she couldn't help but feel something for him whereas most everyone else was not worthy.

She'd hardly had any time to silently think on her fathers grave when she heard a twig snapping behind her. She knew instantly that she was not alone and grasped at her wand. She wasn't afraid as any other woman might have been but rather angry that someone would intrude upon her moment of peace. She turned instantly but kept her wand hidden, seeing the figure of a tall man who looked very low class indeed. Her eyes betrayed no feeling at all besides recognition that he existed as she spoke her words: "What business have you here?" as if he had intruded. And as far as she was concerned, he had.

Cemeteries held an odd sort of fondness as far as Orion concerned. Odd indeed, as the cemetery his parents had been buried in was the very place that he had been violently attacked by the creature that had cursed him with this life. Before his infection, however, he had visited that cemetery in London every day for as long as he could remember. With his mother to visit his father until she died, and alone to visit them both afterward. He no longer had access to that cemetery, unfortunately, and the thought made him grimace. As much as he didn't care about anyone in this life but himself, he had loved his parents a great deal. They had done everything they could to give him a good life as a child, and that would never be forgotten.

Thus, the lower class scoundrel could usually be found milling about the cemetery in the wee hours of the night - he didn't sleep much, you see, so why not visit those who were sleeping eternally? It was a morbid thought, perhaps, but what really was morbid anymore? In his lifestyle, not much. This night was no different, as the tall, imposing man strolled through the maze of headstones, the crisp night air providing a comfortably eery chill. He was cloaked, of course, but his robes were not of outstanding quality. In fact, they were a mess. But, it was all he could manage and all he really had need for. He didn't know the comfort of anything else.

Usually he was alone in his late-night endeavours, but not tonight it seemed. Rounding a corner, Orion spotted a small, slight figure knelt over a headstone several rows away. Much smaller than him, he could tell - the cloak hardly had any fabric to it. The small frame indicated that it had to be a woman, and Orion immediately smirked. Nevermind that they were clearly mourning the loss of someone that had been important to them - something he knew plenty about, as well. Perhaps she was a widow? Either way, it likely meant that she was available. You pig. And if she was out this late at night, she couldn't be a very proper lady. Upper Class dames just didn't slink around cemeteries at unholy hours of the eve. She was looking for trouble, if indirectly. Incorrigible.

Orion did not try to hide his presence - he was approaching her, why shouldn't be announce himself. A simple twig snap under his boot alerted the woman to his existence and she whirled around, revealing her face. It was almost doll-like in appearance, her eyes wide and features very slight. And very, very young. He licked his lips at the thought. Her wand was out and she looked ready to pounce. He didn't flinch. Her accent and youthful tone gave her class away in an instant - she should not be out so late. What would her parents think! Pff.

"It's a cemetery, love," he said, cocky smile plastered on his face. "Free reign. Who's to say I'm not doing exactly what you're doing then?" He took several steps closer, eyes trained on her face as opposed to her wand. She looked like she might break at the gentlest of touches. "Isn't it past your bedtime, little Miss?"

Even though his words were utterly annoying - as was the way his eyes looked her over - she kept any annoyance free from her features. "I highly doubt you were doing as I am. I know a lurker when I see one, and you - sir - were lurking." It was condescending, the way she called him sir for he was anything but a gentleman. She could tell from the way he spoke and held himself. He looked dirty and cocky and Galina had absolutely no desire to spend any more time in his presence than was duly necessary. So she stood and kept her wand in her hand though she no longer had it pointed at him. Instead she were inspecting it as though it were the most interesting thing she'd ever seen.

"As for my bedtime I rather think my sleeping schedule is none of your concern. Dollish though I may look, I assure you that I am no wilting flower." Her eyes turned back upon him, a lazy sort of gaze as though he were not worth her regard at all though it could not at all be mistaken for a lack of awareness. She was keenly aware of his stance, how close he was to her and ever bit of his body. If he made the slightest of moves she would notice and she would not hesitate to put him on his back. If he thought her some lovely thing he could taint for his purposes than he had another thing coming to him. For one, she had no innocence for him to take. Alexei had done away with that and she had no intention to allow him to touch her in such a way.

Perhaps it was presumptuous to assume such a thing would cross his mind but Galina was not at all ignorant to her allure. Burns though she had on her body, she had the features of a china doll. She was beautiful with her long hair and wide eyes, plush lips and soft cheeks. She was very much a beauty even despite her vampiric heritage that she took great lengths to disguise. The gauntness was free from her though her skin was paler than most. If anything she just looked like a slightly week - but still stunning - young woman. Both of which were misleading traits. She was neither weak nor was she soft and innocent as her features could lead one to believe.

"So, Lurker, do you intend to grin like the cat that caught the canary all night or must I make you leave me alone?" It was a threat delivered in her beautiful, Russian accented voice. She sounded very much like a young beauty that couldn't hurt a flower - harsh accent sounding almost musical. She was not afraid to turn her magical prowess against him if she had to. He was not wanted anywhere near her and she cared little if he was truly visiting someone or not. She wanted to be left alone and as she was obviously of a more important status than he, she had every right to that lonesomeness.

One of the reasons he despised most upper class folk was their holier-than-thou attitude. What gave them the right to believe they were any better than him, because they were born into money and he wasn’t? He worked hard for what little money he had, and he was damn proud of it. Not to mention he could live as freely as he wanted, with no reputation to uphold. He pitied the upper class really. They were so set in their ways and always under the scrutiny of everyone and anyone who cared to pay attention. Personally, Orion would rather be at the brothel showing a dame a good time than caring about whether or not some upper class tart was on a stroll without her bloody chaperon.

The condescension in her tone earned her a scowl. This lass was just as bad as the rest of them, and she had no problem being vocal about her traditional views. “You’ve spoken all but two sentences to me and you’ve got me all figured out, eh?” he questioned, raising an eyebrow and staring down at her. She could patronize him all she wanted, but she had no idea who she was talking to. He could take insult after insult and throw them right back if the mood struck him - which it usually did. Woman or not, if she asked for it she would get it.

She tried to challenge his remark about her bedtime, and he folded his arms across his chest, still staring down at her. Very self-righteous, she was, and she knew she was beautiful enough to mention it in conversation with a perfect stranger. That vaguely pissed him off. Her facial expression was devoid of almost any emotion except boredom, and he began to wonder if she was some sort of loony. It was both maddening and exciting. If she wanted to believe she was stronger than she looked, she could go ahead. “Well then,” he commented idly, smug smile still plastered on his lips, “ye look like ye might ‘ave some thorns, too.”

Refusing to look him in the eye, the young woman focused her attention on her wand. Clearly she believed he was not worthy of her presence, which just made him want to stick around all the more. The two were polar opposites in appearance - one would have to be daft to miss that. She was the slightest little thing he had ever seen and looked far too fragile for her own good, pale and fair. He, on the other hand, was a beast of a man with a slightly darker skin tone, hulking muscles and a generally musky, dirty appearance. Even if she threatened him with magic, he could overpower her physically if he felt the need.

A threat was not far off though, as she asked him whether she might be forced to make him leave. Why the bloody hell should he have to leave. “Yer threats don’t scare me, Lass. Last I checked it was a free country,” he responded, arms still folded across his chest. The voice with which she had threatened him was sickeningly sweet, and something twisted within him enjoyed it. Another something wanted to smack her for it. “Yer just going to ‘ave to learn to share.”

Galina was not a young woman used to having someone be so unaffected by her collected threats and obvious coldness. She wasn't at all used to people doing anything more than recoiling from her icy tones and the fact that he didn't seem to be at all threatened by her rubbed her very wrong. Had he no sense of danger? Galina knew herself to be a very dangerous young woman - she had escaped from the clutches of a werewolf with little more than a bat of her lashes. She had seduced one of the most influential men in Hogsmeade simply by being coy and sweet. She was very dangerous if she needed to be - and very cunning indeed. But the mongrel of a man before her seemed to not care a bit that she was willing to curse him.

Her lips pursed ever so slightly and she couldn't help it. Usually she showed no emotions past boredom and other such things. But this man was mind boggling in that he continued to think she was nothing but a pretty little dame. "Oh you think yourself terribly difficult to understand? I have unraveled men ten times superior to you with little effort. Do not think yourself so mysterious, lurker though you may be." Her tone was almost bating, full of obvious disdain while still managed to seem rather unimpressed by him as a whole. She wouldn't admit that her interest was piqued in his obvious unconcern by the danger she may pose. It was a fleeting interest and not one at all worth pursuing as far as she was concerned.

His comment of thorns made her give a haughty, humorless sort of chuckle. "I have much more than thorns, I assure you." Her lashes batted almost invitingly as she gave the slightest hint of a grin in an unintentional display of the sharper canines she possessed. Though only half vampire she could easily pierce his flesh with a bite if she so desired. And if she had to she was not at all adverse to it. After all, human blood was a rare delicacy for her but one she very much enjoyed. The fact that he was so obviously bigger than her meant nothing to her. She was stronger than she looked and she had her magic to help her if she so needed to attack him. She almost hoped she did - his arrogance was very annoying.

"It may have escaped your notice, but one such as myself has no need to share with her lessers." She was bold in saying it - but he was so obviously beneath her. "In fact - " Her eyes donned an innocent expression - "I rather think it would only be proper of you to leave a young daughter to mourn the loss of her father peacefully." Arrogant though he was, her look was very charming she knew. Even he had to be affected by that and Galina so loved watching the effects she had on men as she knew she had many of them.

It was obvious that this young woman was put off by his lack of interest in her petty threats. Whether or not she was serious, it really made no difference to him. Whatever she could threaten to do to him wouldn’t compare to anything he had already been through physically, mentally or even emotionally. She, on the other hand, was just a slight little upper class thing. What did she know of loss, pain or suffering? Orion almost scoffed at the thought.

It seemed she had plenty of attitude up her sleeve as well. She sure thought a lot of herself - quite the haughty little thing she was. Damn if he wouldn’t love to shut her up and put her in her place. “Ye think ye know me, do ye?” he began, taking another step closer and raising his chin ever so slightly. “Well then, let me ask you a question.” His tone was patronizing as he stared down at her through furrowed brows, obvious dislike for her and everything she stood for written all over his face. “Who do you think I am?”

The young lady batted her eyelashes at him after a snide response, and damn it all if it didn’t frustrate the bloody hell out of him. She had to still be in school at least - she looked way too young to be anything but a student - and yet she had already mastered the art of seduction. Orion made no move to show that he was in any way attracted to her, but his body was telling him very different. Very different. If he’d had it his way he’d pin her right then and there, her awful personality the only thing stopping him. She probably wouldn’t shut up in the sack.

“I’m sure ye do, love,” he responded idly, looking up briefly and checking out the surroundings. They were still the only two in the cemetery - and likely the only two awake in the entire village. Then she had the nerve to call him her lesser, and his gaze snapped back to meet hers. What a little snot. Lower class though he was, she’d had no idea what he had been through in this life, nor did he have any care to explain himself to her. Sure, he was a git and a real arse all of most of the time, but at least he knew he was, and he had reason to be. He didn’t give two shits about people because no one had given any about him his entire life. This one was just too self-centered and self-righteous, and had a stick way too far up her pretty little backside.

“Ye best be watching who yer calling yer lesser, dearie,” spat Orion with a scowl. “Ye never know when it might come back to bite you.” His scowl remained, even as she spoke of her father’s death. Boohoo. He didn’t feel bad for her, he knew exactly how it felt to lose a parent - he’d already experienced it twice, and much at a much younger age. “Perhaps yer father,” he began, nodding to the gravestone behind her, “forgot to teach ye some manners before he passed.”

There was something strange and twisted about this girl. Maybe she’d even killed him herself. He wouldn’t put it past her.

"I know your type." She said it idly as if it weren't really important. "Think yourself tough and dangerous. Perhaps even a lady killer as one would say." She practically sneered at him for having the gall to say anything back to her other than apologies. "You aren't so original, you know. Every slum rat is just like you. So needlessly confident. So sure that he is worthwhile when truly you are worth nothing. No one would weep at your loss, I assure you." If a woman of her stature were one to shrug, she'd have done it. But as it was she simply stared at him, not at all perturbed that he was so much bigger than herself. Let him think he had the upper hand all he wanted - she knew that if he made a move she could have him on his back and throat ripped out in no time flat.

The fact that he thought to warn her was amusing. He knew nothing of her aside from the beautiful exterior she had. She was not at all what she appeared and he seemed very idiotic not to have realized that yet. "You think I fear a bit of biting? As if you could even get near me fast enough. I could have you on your back in a moments notice if you even dared to make a move against me." Her smirk was slightly devious as she thought - hoped - that he would just try to attack her. She wished he would, then she could put him in his place. "Go on - try. Let's just see how tough you are when I'm holding your heart in my pretty little hand." Normally she wouldn't waste her breath on men like him but something about him worked her up - not that she'd let it show. No, she'd keep her words calm and cold.

That is, until, he spoke of her father. Her eyes narrowed and she practically hissed at him. "Do not speak a word of my father!" Her tone was harsh, features angry as though she were ready to pounce at a moments notice. And she wanted to. How cocky and arrogant would he be when his blood was dripping down her chin? She wondered though she knew it wouldn't be prudent. She could not attack unless given reason to - her father had always taught her that. For no matter how deserving he was, the eyes of the law would not discriminate should she do a wrong to someone unduly. She wouldn't try and after a moment of trying to calm herself her features returned back to normal.

"Besides, manners would be lost on you, I think." Her brows arched ever so slightly as if appraising him. "No...I've much better things suited to the likes of you. Just give me one reason and I'll demonstrate." She was rather itching to curse him in that moment. The fact that he spoke to her as if he were equal to her was disgusting. The way he looked at her made her skin crawl. She was certain he must have seen her allure even if he was content to act otherwise. After all she was a beautiful young woman, petite and slim and very soft looking. Any man would be attracted to her and the thought that he might be made her stomach lurch. How very disgusting.

Merlin, he wanted to smack the nasty mouth right off of this little snot-nosed brat. Barely out of school and she already had the whole world figured out, that must be nice. Pheh. She was throwing out meaningless phrases here and there. Dangerous, tough, lady-killer. Sure, those were all fitting, but he didn’t think them. He knew them. He was much more dangerous than he seemed, given three days every month he turned into a mindless, starving killing machine who would attack and devour anything with a pulse. He wasn’t about to share that information with this tart, though. She didn’t deserve to know anything about him. “Ye don’t know a damn thing about me, dearie,” he responded slow and gruff, sneer ever-present on his face. “Keep pretendin’, but ye don’t.”

More threats, pouring out of her pretty little mouth, each one just as ridiculous as the last. Oh, he had no doubt that she was being serious. Everything about her seemed off - she was probably a sociopath. Hell, she could even be contemplating performing any of these actions as they spoke. And something within him was just waiting for it. He wanted to see it, to prove his suspicions correct. If she was bloody insane, maybe she was worth his time. What fun would it be associating with someone of the upper class if they weren’t clinically insane? He gave a low chuckle in response to her heavy threats. “I would love to see ye try,” he responded, not an inch of sarcasm in his tone.

Mention of her father struck a nerve, and Orion let a smug grin spread across his lips. He had done exactly as planned - he’d got a reaction. So far she had been pretty dull, full of sickeningly sweet threats and bored expressions, but this livened her up. The anger in her eyes was electrifying, he fed off of it. She looked much better when she was angry, in his opinion. Not quite so devoid of life. “Someone didn’t teach ‘em to ye, that’s for damn sure. I ‘aven’t seen any all night.”

She came to the conclusion that manners were not entirely in his repertoire, and she would be right. But that was not the point - the point was simply to badger, annoy and anger. As was usually the plan when speaking to women like her. Or anyone like her really. Or anyone, period. He raised a brow at her proposition. Give her a reason to carry out one of her threats, eh? “Is that a challenge?” he almost growled, staring at her through narrowed eyes. There was no doubt in his mind that she would go through with it. Perhaps five minutes ago he’d have thought her full of bollocks, but something about her was telling him not to take this woman lightly. He liked that.

    “‘Ave at me then, dearie.”

She could have laughed at him. As it was a dark sort of giggle escaped her as she took a step closer. "No," she started, her plush lips giving the softest of pouts, "it's no threat. Merely a promise." With each word she had stepped closer and closer until she was but a few steps away from him. He was a fool to think she was nothing more than a pretty face. But even she had to admit that the prospect of proving him wrong sent a thrill through her whole body. If there was one thing in the world that excited Galina, it was power. So when he oh-so kindly invited her to show off hers, she could not resist.

Without any hesitation she said the incantation that caused a rope to extend from her wand and wrap around his neck. Another she spoke caused him to fall on his knees and when he was knelt before her she simply pulled her wand which caused the rope around his neck to tighten. With a devious grin she took his chin in her delicate hand and hated the brief realization that were he to clean up he'd be very handsome indeed. As it was she chose to deny and ignore the brief flicker of arousal at the way things were at the moment.

"I told you not to test me, didn't I?" she tightened the rope again, digging her nail into his flesh. With a rough yank of her wand she sent him toppling completely onto the ground and ended the spell making the rope on his neck to disappear. She had proven her point and there was no reason to increase her chances of being caught assaulting someone eve. if it had been rather enjoyable. He wasn't worth it as far as she was concerned though if he tried anything back she'd have no problem fighting back. She almost wished he would make a move. The excitement of being dominant was ever thrilling and she was sure she could come out the victor in any fight between the two of them.

With a soft sigh- one that hinted that she were terribly bored- she looked at him again. "A word of advice: never underestimate a pretty face. That was just a taste of what I can do if given reason to." It was almost upsetting how quickly she'd gotten him but she supposed that was due in part to his obvious underestimation of her. Now, however, she was certain he'd never make that mistake again.

Each step she took towards him, he stood his ground, eyes boring into hers. If she wanted to do it, she should just fucking do it.

    And she did.

The spell formed a rope that immediately extended and wrapped tightly around his neck. Struggling to breathe, Orion stood tall and glared down at her through squinted eyes. Before he knew it he’d dropped to his knees, spluttering and choking. The rope tightened around his neck even further, and he looked up at her. The sight of her standing over him, although not much taller than even him on his knees, clearly enjoying every minute of his pain was probably the most aroused by a woman he had been in a long time. Not dissimilar to a dog on a leash, he was completely at her mercy. No one forced him into submission. No one.

Just as he was getting light headed, she released the spell and he fell to the ground, trying to force air back into his lungs. His throat was dry and hoarse, coughing as he tried to recover. Goddamn. She had actually cursed him. The bitch. As turned on by the entire ordeal as he was, he was also fucking furious. Who the hell did this girl think she was? As soon as he got his breath back, Orion stood and grabbed his wand. Muttering “expelliarmus!” under his breath and putting his own away, he approached her quickly and grabbed her neck. If she wanted to strangle him, he would do the same to her. Without magic. His rough hand wrapped around her neck and he forcefully shoved her into a large nearby memorial, body pressed against hers and towering over her.

“Ye picked the wrong scoundrel to fight with, lass,” he all but growled, glaring down at her. He was not a saint, nor a gentleman. If a woman wanted to pull that kind of stunt, he was going to see to it that she was punished. His breaths were low and shallow but very vocal. His hand tightened around her neck and he waited, watching her struggle for air. This one had fight in her - he was prepared for her to pull another unexpected move. In fact, he was excited.

Galina hadn't expected him to fight back. So when her wand went flying from her hand she was indeed a bit shocked. She practically snarled when he grabbed her by the throat and pushed her up against a memorial, pushing up against her. Despite being physically overpowered, a part of her was excited that she'd get to - when her wand was back in her possession - show him exactly who he was messing with. As he choked her she refused to give him any reaction at all and stared in his eyes before holding her hand out subtly and hoping that her wand would come flying back into her hand as she tried to summon it wandlessly, barely gasping out the words accio wand. It worked and as soon as it was in her grasp she pointed it at his head and spoke: "Flipendo" causing him to go flying back away from her.

As he hit the ground she walked up to him with her wand pointed directly at him. "No," She said with a seething tone, "I rather think it is you who chose the wrong person to fight with." It would be so easy, she thought, to cause him the most pain he could ever imagine feeling. The Unforgivable Curses were not something new to her. While she didn't go waving her wand in every direction throwing them about, she had in fact used used them before. Her father was very into the Dark Arts and Galina, naturally, was as well. He had ensured that she would know how to use them if ever she had reason to and Galina was starting to think more and more that she had reason to. This man had thought to put his hands on her and though she would deny the thrill of it all it had been there. She would never admit it, however. Never admit how a battle for dominance was exciting and how his ruggedness was alluring in it's own disgusting sort of way.

"I'd suggest you leave now lest you wish to feel the most pain you can imagine...and then some." She wasn't trying to veil that she was threatening to use the Cruciatus curse on him. She didn't care if he knew that it was on the tip of her tongue, ready to be used if he tried anything again. Or she could simply jump on him and rip his throat out with her teeth. Though she was not a full vampire, her teeth were plenty sharp - a fact she lessened with the use of charms of concealment. They didn't look as sharp as they were, because of it, though perhaps still a bit more prominent. After all, she didn't want anyone to doubt that she was the pureblood she put on. "So what are you going to do, hmm? Try to attack me and risk your sanity or simply accept that you won't best me?" Her tone was taunting as she gave him a grin that showed she was pleased with herself.

Galina is covered in fairly severe burn marks. Though her face is largely undamaged, you can see the scars at the edge of her jaw and snaking up her neck. Also, everyone thinks she is a pureblood; her half-vampire heritage is unknown to those outside her family.

He held the power in that moment, however brief it might have been, and it was glorious. A rush of adrenaline coursed through his veins, which were very much visible as he held onto her throat with as much force as he could. Yet, he wasn’t a cold-blooded killer. Not when he was a human, so he didn’t put all of his strength behind it, else he might have snapped her neck. He simply wanted her to suffer for what she had done to him not moments before. He asserted his dominance by pushing himself harder against her, crushing her slight form literally between a rock and a hard place.

However, it was silly of him to think that he would have the upper hand for very long with this girl. She was obviously skilled with magic, as she choked out a few words he couldn’t really hear through all of his panting and her wand flew back into her hand. Before he knew it he was flying through the air and landed hard on his back, the air quickly knocked out of him. It was all he could do to stare at the night sky for a minute as he tried to find the breath he had lost. It came rushing back to him not long after he landed and he took a deep breath, coughing while pushing himself into a sitting position and bringing his eyes up to meet hers. This woman was insane.

Truer words had never been spoken than those that left her lips next. Never in a million years would he have expected someone of her stature and class to do something like this. It was intriguing. Any ordinary man might have been terrified of her, but he was more interested than anything else. If she had so easily choked him and thrown him on his back within minutes of knowing him, what else was she capable of? Damn it if he didn’t want to know. Yet, he still refused to give in. She could hex and curse him all she liked, and he would never relent. A fight for dominance with Orion was not a short nor easy one.

Another threat escaped her and he seriously contemplated his options. The most pain imaginable... that had to be in reference to the Cruciatus curse. His lips tugged into a sick smile. If this woman pulled an Unforgivable on him... well, to be honest he wasn’t sure he’d do. He had never been in such a situation, but he was sure by the end of it he would love nothing more than to bend her over her father’s headstone and take her. Violence was a twisted point of arousal for Orion, and always would be. As was a woman who knew what she wanted, and went after it. She wanted to cause him pain, that much was sure. And she was very capable of it. If she didn’t back out... he’d have even more strange respect for her than she’d already gained.

“I can go all night, little Miss,” he said gruffly, still breathing heavily from the loss of breath moments earlier. He could go all night, but he wouldn’t go without a fight. Lunging as quickly as he could, Orion tackled her to the ground, whipped his wand out from his pocket and poked the tip sharply into her neck. “But I won’t go down without a fight,” he said, holding her down with his other hand and all the strength he could muster.

It seemed he didn't know when to give up. He had the gall to tackle her and she hit the ground with a strangled noise as her back hit a rock. Ouch. The fact that his wand tip was pressed against her throat was irritating and all she wanted to do was hurt him. For a moment she thought of which way would be most amusing to disarm him. She could play coy and seduce her way out of the altercation but the very idea made her retch. She didn't want to give him the pleasure of thinking he had any bearing on what went on between her thighs - not even for the slightest of moments. So instead she knew what she'd do. She'd use her favorite curse on him and maybe then he'd realize that he was no match for her. No matter what, she refused to let him think he'd won anything because that simply was not the case.

"Oh you think you've won?" She said it with a teasing tone. "Think that just because you've got me on my back and your wand to my throat that I'll just beg for mercy?" She could have laughed at the very idea. "Don't forget - I did warn you." And without a second warning or threat, she said the word. Crucio. It rolled off her tongue so easily and as the curse hit him she put all her power into rolling him off of her and standing to her feet. She watched as he writhed in pain on the ground, a sick smile on her face. She watched for a few short minutes before releasing him from the curse and grinned. He was sure to need a moment to recoup before he could try to attack her again - if he even tried.

She had to admit, the fact that a man so much bigger than her was lying incapacitated on the ground at her hand was very alluring. She enjoyed the power she had - the way she was able to defeat anyone who thought to attack her. He was no different and all she wanted to do was hit him with the curse again. But she knew better than to do anything that could cause lasting effects, lest he try to tell someone of what happened. But surely even he wouldn't be that stupid. So she just looked at him as he wallowed in the after effects of the curse, still smiling at him before she donned a faux look of worry.

"Oh my poor dear. Did that hurt?" Her tone was so condescending. She didn't care one bit if she had hurt him. She was glad that she had. "You did bring it upon yourself, though. Now run along." she waved her hand in a motion as if to shoo him off, certain that even he wouldn't try to attack her again after that. Then again if he did it would only prove to be more amusing.

He was daft to think that she would give up so easily. He hadn’t even made rid of her wand, which was her greatest weapon at this point. That was a stupid move, as he soon learned. He certainly had the brawn to hold his own in a fight, but she was much more skilled with magic, and that could do just as much damage - if not more. With a forewarning, the psychotic young lady whispered the word Crucio, just as he had expected. Within a split second, Orion’s whole world faded into nothing but darkness and the most excruciating pain he had ever experienced.

His eyes glazed over before shutting entirely, writhing in pain on the cemetery ground. No doubt he was screaming and yelling bloody murder. If he had thought his first transformation was painful, it had nothing on this curse. His body was alive with pain and he couldn’t think, ears ringing and body positively burning. He was sure that he lost consciousness for a split second before he came to, the pain still present. Luckily, she’d had some mercy and lifted the curse after only a few moments. However, those few moments had felt like a lifetime to the groundskeeper. Even with the curse lifted, his body needed time to recover from what it had just been through. His ears rang and he could feel the sting of involuntary tears having slid down his cheeks. That curse was not a joke. And she had the gall to use it.

Rolling several times and groaning, Orion forced himself onto his side and then slowly to his knees, glaring up at her. He was sweaty and breathing heavily, chest heaving up and down visibly. His fists clenched and all he could do was stare in both disgust and awe at the woman in front of him. “Yer mad,” he growled, forcing himself into a standing position. She was mad, indeed, but as was he. He was mad for not getting the hell out of there. What the bleeding hell was wrong with him? Any normal human being would run as soon as they had the chance. But Orion - well, he wasn’t normal. And neither was she.

His excitement lingered. It should have faded into complete and utter disdain, but something about the pain this woman caused him was exhilarating. No one had ever done something like that to him before, let alone a woman. He had always been the dominant one in his encounters with women, doing with them what he pleased. The tables were turned with this one, and it was clear that he would have to fight back tooth and nail if he wanted to prove himself. He shouldn’t have to prove himself, and in any other case he wouldn’t care to. This was different, for whatever reason he couldn’t understand. She was sick and twisted, and in his own twisted way, he both appreciated it and hated it. He loathed this woman with his entire being, and yet he would not give up.

Vaguely, he looked around to make sure the area was still clear. The cemetery was far enough away from the living area of the village - hopefully no one had heard his screams of agony. There was still no sign of any other life in the area, luckily. For now. Attention back on the witch in front of him, he walked straight up to her and stood over her, staring down at her through a look of absolute disdain and disgust. “Ye have a lot to prove, don’t ye lass,” he said simply. For whatever reason he couldn’t understand and before he could stop himself, Orion’s hand lifted and brushed surprisingly gently against her cheek before he slapped her forcefully in the same place, sneer still plastered upon his features. He was positively growling. “I ain’t scared o’ ye. Most men of yer class would have run howling in the other direction. I ain’t no ordinary man, ye can be sure of that.”

Further and further he was infuriating her. Even after her using an Unforgivable Curse on him, he got up. She wasn't scared when he approached her, or even when he slapped her with force that made her head jerk to the side. No, she was angry. The type of angry she told herself she'd never allow herself to feel again. The type of angry that came out every now and again with deadly consequences. He was positively asking for it now and she was going to give it to him. She was going to fight him every step of the way - for as long as he wanted to fight. There was no way he'd get away with slapping her like that. No way at all.

So again she sent the knockback jinx his way and the moment his back hit the ground she was on top of him. "Give me one reason," she snarled at him, baring her fangs and not even caring that the enchantment might have fallen due to her lack of concentration. She wanted him to see her fangs, how sharp they were. How they obviously were capable of tearing his flesh if she wanted them to. "One reason why I shouldn't rip your throat out with my teeth." She was furious, positively livid and she could practically smell the blood underneath his flesh. It was the faintest of smells and she could only catch a whiff because his adrenaline was rushing. But it was there, faint though it was. And it was alluring as all get out.

Lowering her head she made like she was going to bite him. "Make my day and give me a reason. It's been so long since I've had a taste of blood that didn't come from a forest creature." Her voice was scant above a whisper, breath sure to be warm against his skin. Without really meaning to her tongue darted out to touch his neck, tasting the salt of his skin and getting an excited feeling as she waited for him to make an inevitable move that would cause her to bite him. Because scoundrel though he undoubtedly was, she was sure his blood would taste just as sweet as anyone else's. Perhaps more because it came with the victory of knowing she'd overpowered him.
