Max was glad their little plan worked somehow. After digging themselves up, the continued travelling and travelling... He was getting tired of that. Then, he probably didn't have too much too complain, did he? Others could be in a much worse position.
The clearing and the water made him happy. "Well, gentlemen, I believe we deserve some rest." He said filling his canteen.

Luka just needed some time to figure a few things out, but not right now, as it was about getting them out of their little buried bubble. After a bit of time, he decided it would be best to melt the snow slowly using a fire breathing spell. He knew it wouldn't create enough of a shockwave or vibrations to cause another avalanche and it would get them out properly.
After they managed to escape and move away from the frozen environment, they stumbled upon a nice warm clearing that would allow them to truly rest, recuperate and prepare for the next leg of their journey. While they were resting, Luka looked over Max's break in his arm since its had some time to heal. With everything happening, he wondered how well it was healing. After he examined Max's arm, he re-splinted it and then wrapped it once more. He was very happy he brought enough medical supplies for almost anything, but he hadn't expected to be gone this long.
The trip itself was wearing him down and he wondered how long they could last before they all were taken out or possibly killed. After taking care of Max, he refilled his various canteens, spent some time cleaning what clothes he could and drying everything he could before he setup a camp to help them rest easier.
EVENT ANNOUNCER — ROUND 9 After a much needed day of rest, your group sets off again in a southeast direction. The area begins to level out, the trees continue to grow more sparse, and in the distance you're able to just barely make out the shimmer of what could be a lake on the horizon. It will take several days to reach it, but it might be worth taking a look at. Otherwise, you could write to the Ministry and see if the level area of land you have found would be something that they're interested in.

"Gentlemen," Alex started, feeling especially weary after the past two days, "I think we ought to start heading home. This land looks suitable enough, and maybe if they reply fast enough I can return home before my wife has the babe." Alex hoped the men would agree with him, he wanted to go home, he was so tired of this trail. He simply wanted to hold his wife again. He missed Mia desperately.

Luka wasn't exactly happy to end so soon, but given the condition of the party, even after a full day's rest, it might be pertinent to end here seeing as this area has little deforestation needs and could suit to add more of the city to its number, although he is inclined to address to the Ministry more information about what they will encounter including non-environmental conditions, to change the scenery without harming the natural wildlife as muggles do. Knowing the Ministry, they will accomplish this with as little invasive tactics as possible, but they never do everything totally correct.
"I am all for going home, but I think we should inspect the lake before we give our final report, it might prove to be hazardous to the builders if we don't make sure its clear of possible dangers. If you have a way of inspecting it without us going all the way there, then I welcome it, otherwise, I believe we should do this one last task and go home."

Alex frowned at Luca. Further inspection? Let the minister inspect the land further if he wished to be clear. Alex didn't want to go on anymore. He wanted to go home to his very pregnant wife. "If you feel we must, we must, but I'd much prefer to go home. Now."

Max bit his lower lip. He understood mister Page and as much as he wanted to continue, he did not want to stop the man. "How about we tell the ministry that me and mr Dolohov will continue to search and Mr Paige will come back home to tell them everything?

He stood immobilized. Alex had never abandoned a man. Ever. And he wasn't about to begin leaving people behind now. He wanted to go home, he wanted to go home to the point where he would get on his knees and beg if that's what was required of him. But he wouldn't go home without Luca and Max. "No. Either we all go home together, or we don't go home at all. I've never once left a man in the field, and there have been times when I should've. My wife has almost been a widow countless times. I'm not about to change my whole belief system because you don't wish to return home soon."
Mia would understand. She would understand if he didn't have the chance to come home yet
EVENT ANNOUNCER — ROUND 10 It takes a lot longer to reach the lake than you had originally thought it would, but as you near it you can see that the lake is actually quite small. It's rather long and stretched out, but it's doubtful that it is home to any sort of magical creatures - it appears to only be deep enough to hold fish of the regular sort. Farther past the lake, you can see the silhouette of a few very poorly built wooden buildings. Whoever built them clearly hadn't the slightest idea what they were doing. They look almost half hazard in appearance. At the moment, you don't see anyone around. It could be possible that the town is long abandoned. Do you choose to camp and rest first as well as send word to the Ministry, or do you push on and head into the small village?

At this point, he could care less how they reacted to all of it, but instead, he wanted to just go home himself. Julie was waiting for him and he wanted to be near her once more. Now, they've discovered enough land that everyone will be happy. The lake itself was clean but with the abandoned town ahead of them, he wondered what it really meant. He hovered his wand towards the buildings from across the lake to see if it might be some kind of enchantment or illusion that someone had put up.
No one just builds haphazardly, even in a hurry, so it must be something that seeks to confuse them. He looked at them, "I think we should study it from here and then report back to the Ministry. I feel we've done what we can, Alex and Max."
EVENT ANNOUNCER — ROUND 11 Your group sends a letter to the Ministry informing them of the place you have found. It takes three hours to get a response back, during which your group simply waits out of sight of anyone who might be in the village. A fresh owl is sent to you. It congratulates you on a job well done - the Ministry will send scouts the very next day. You are to return back to Hogsmeade immediately and avoid any contact with the village at all. That is for the Ministry to handle. You should apparate back to the Ministry in order to receive your prize money. Land will be handed out at a later date, once the other parties have returned. After returning, you're free to go back to your own lives.

Now that the journey is over, he can finally return to his beloved Julie away from all the insanity of this expedition. It made him almost jump for joy in the expression of feeling so well earned in his efforts. He shook the hands of the two men he journeyed with and smiled, "Well, cheers, mates. Glad we could do this together and survive. Take care of yourselves. I'm sure I'll see you around." He stepped away and looked at Max for a moment, "Make sure to watch that arm, Max." He nodded and poofed back to the Ministry.
