<b>Appearance:</b>

<p>At five foot eleven inches tall, Duncan is a head above the average Victorian man. He is lean, well-built, a Quidditch player in his time at Hogwarts, so his one hundred eighty pounds comprise almost entirely of muscle. He has dark brown hair that almost looks black trimmed short to look professional. His eyes are brown in color. His lips are almost always drawn into a casual smirk and he often plays off sarcasm with the same expression. Duncan wears suits respectable for the middle class, though the Borgins are on the richer end of the class; Duncan tries not to flaunt his dress in the finer fabrics available. Duncan is right handed.

<b>History:</b>

</p>The eldest of all the Borgin cousins, Duncan was forced to be a role model for the two other boys, Stephen and Reid, as well as teach the girls certain unisex things. He failed in the latter and relentlessly teased both boys. After finding out his magical prowess at age seven, he later used his talents to wreak havoc in his household and large family gatherings to the dismay of his parents and cousins.</p>
<p>The summer before he turned 11, however, was not exactly a fun time for Duncan. Because his birthday fell after September first, he could not go to Hogwarts that year, and boy did he pitch a fit. Duncan set many a thing ablaze and caused great strife among his staff including his own governess. The boy was wild and quite temperamental. The summer before he turned twelve, Duncan received his letter to attend Hogwarts, which both excited and infuriated the boy. Was he not fit enough to go in early? He grumpily accepted his letter and did all the things required, including gaining ownership of his favorite item of all: his wand.</p>
<p>During his sorting ceremony, Duncan was sorted into Slytherin and was an average student. In his third year he took Divination, Arithmancy, Ancient Runes, and Care of Magical Creatures. In his fifth year, his OWL results were:</p>

<p>Upon graduation, Duncan went straight to work at the family shop’s Hogsmeade location after he graduated in 1879. He was just handed the manager position and Duncan works hard dealing with Dark Magic, cursed artifacts, and the like. He currently works at the Hogsmeade branch and lives in a small Bartonburg home.</p>
