Summer. Soleil's least favorite season weather wise, though she admittedly would enjoy being out of school for the next couple months. The next few months she would have to savor considering the fact that one of her only friends, Magdelena Davis, had completed her education at Hogwarts. Yes, Soleil was quite proud and happy for her friend, but a bit nervous about facing her own 7th year of school completely alone after finally having a good friend for socializing and share her experiences with. Most of her experiences anyway. Soleil still kept her Seer abilities a secret, no one at school to her knowledge knew about her ability to see events of the future. As much as she trusted Maggie, Soleil didn't even tell her about it. A part of her felt guilty for hiding that part of her away from a friend, but she believed it was for the best.
<p>
Even now, Maggie and her family had shown kindness by once again allowing the muggle-born witch to stay in their home while school was out. She could have returned to London to stay with her uncle, but Soleil did prefer Hogsmeade and staying in the company of a friend. She knew if she had returned to London, the next three months would be spent ultimately isolated within her room, just reading over her text books and practicing her spells since she didn't have anyone to talk to about magic. Her uncle had made it clear that he found the whole idea of her being a witch...uncomfortable, but for her happiness allowed her some leeway to pursue becoming one.
<p>
Currently, Soleil sat in the spare guest room on her bed, wand held in hand and a look of focus upon her features. She was in the process of attempting to conjure her Patronus. A feat she had been trying for the last few months and yet no success with it. It was rather frustrating when she considered how relatively easy spell casting and potion making came to her. "Alright..." she inhaled and then sighed slowly while closing her mind, searching through her memories to find one of true happiness that would be used to fuel the spell. It probably would have been better to close the door so she would not be disturbed, but she had left it open just in case she was needed for whatever reason.
