Title: Hogsmeade Trail Group 11
Description: Group Plot Discussion Page
James Riley - May 4, 2012 03:52 PM (GMT)
Plot Idea You know.
Timeline Yeah.
Needed Networking James Riley, Callum Baines, Sam Bowen, Ezekial Aesalon, Everett Grimm
Other Information
So basically I wanted a place to toss around some ideas since I'm not really on AIM much with my current schedule. >:D
So James/Ev/Eze know each other well, and I'm assuming Cal and Eze are also acquainted since Cal sometimes frequents the Hog's Head. By that same argument we could say that Cal is acquainted with James and Ev already, or not, whichever we prefer. I need help working Sam into things. James would probably know him in passing from the hospital, but would he know anyone else?
Also, we should discuss attitudes towards this. James is pissed that he has to be there and is furious that Felicity is, so if they have any contact with other groups at all he'll be preoccupied with obsessively checking on her safety. Also, he doesn't give a rat's behind about the money or land, and his main goal is "survive and get it over with," so if anyone is taking this seriously they might clash over that.
Last but not least, James is a recovering alcoholic... surrounded by drunkards for an unknown amount of time. If there is booze, he will doubtless be falling off the wagon at some point. To make things more interesting, I think that someone should get injured and require a healer while James is drunk... because what would probably happen is he would be instructing our ObGyn healer in what to do while sitting in the corner with a bucket. XD
Cassandra Trelawney - May 4, 2012 03:56 PM (GMT)
*volounteers Cass to be injured as she is part of the group. Also booze will be hidden by her. She will be mommying them ;P*
Felicity Prewett - May 4, 2012 03:56 PM (GMT)
Just some thoughts,
1. CAN THIS BE WHEN BABYDRAMAS GO DOWN?
2. I don't imagine Cal knows James, but he def knows Eze from the Head and Ev from Ev's time at Hogwarts. They probably got drunk. More than once.
3. Cal is actually really pleased he got drafted; all the kids (save Bethan, who lives with Enid) are old enoguh to survive on their own for a bit, and the land & money are a really good opportunity for him.
4. If Eze doesn't bring at least half the bar's firewhiskey supplies, Calmuse might cry. James is screwed.

Cal doesn't really give a damn if she's a woman, he'll hex her if she tries.

POINT ONE. James and Sam would know each other from the Hospital. Sam could also know Everett because they're the same age and I think they would've been the same year in school. Sam was always quiet and stuck to his small friends group, so Everett might've thought him weird or something.
POINT TWO. Sam isn't too particularly concerned about money and land, he's more along the lines of James's thinking... especially now that Cass is in the group, too. He wants them to get home safe, and he just wants to protect her and keep her safe. He's probably promised Freya and Jon he would.
POINT THREE. It'd be totally awkward if it were Sam who got injured, and James was trying to instruct someone else, someone very non-medically inclined, to patch him up.

Yes.
Yes on all accounts, actually. Let's get both Cass AND Sam injured while James is drunk. And then he'll be instructing whichever one of them is most sober, aka THEY'RE SCREWED. XD

I vote Eze... because it'd be the funniest. Perhaps Sam gets hurt while trying to save Cass from getting hurt because she's turning all the alcohol into water? xD

Beanie approves.
Eze will be bringing a bag that's larger on the inside filled with all the firewhiskey he could get his hands on. If anyone tries to take it from him, he will hit them with it.
He also does not care at all about the mission.
Evangeline Asperhand - May 5, 2012 11:03 AM (GMT)
Cass will try and turn all the booze into water when no one's looking ;P
Felicity Prewett - May 5, 2012 01:30 PM (GMT)
Said it before, will say it again - she tries, and Cal will be the reason she gets injured. Women have a place, and it's either cooking or in his bed. If she is performing neither of these functions she is a disappointment, but if she's actively trying to dictate what he can and can't do, she is a menace on top of this, and must be stopped xD
WHERE IS BEE SHE NEEDS TO WEIGH IN ON BABIES.
The above aside (he probably would just grump rather than actually hurt her. Probably. Most likely one of the boys that actually graduated could transfigure it back anyways xD), Cal is actually going to be in a genuinely good mood, at least initially. Take advantage of this. BE HIS FRIENDDDD.
And enjoy it while ti lasts.
Everett Grimm - May 14, 2012 01:20 AM (GMT)
WOW I AM SO LATE TO THIS PARTY!?
why didn't anybody tell me it was here, seriously?
anywho, yes to all previously mentioned connections. Cal and Ev would also know one another from working at the school.
Everett cannot heal anybody, he is inept.
Explain furthers about baby drama.
Ev may be a little mopey being separated from Ella at the moment, but other than that, he'd like some land and some moolah, so he's going with it.
James Riley - July 24, 2012 11:57 PM (GMT)
LET'S DO THIS.
My thoughts. If the boys are left even relatively alone to sleep (they're staying the night with these ladies, yeah?) James will be quite easily convinced to attempt a rescue. So long as people aren't pointing pistols at him. Should be easy enough to get past whatever guards they have if Group 11 has the element of surprise and magic on their side. And they should be able to do it without hurting anyone.
Other options: one of the boys can sneak away and inform the Ministry via owl, and the Ministry can do the rescuing?
I need for James to not get shot so that he can propose to Fee. Otherwise I'm up for all things.
Cassius Lestrange - July 25, 2012 12:03 AM (GMT)
WELL
if we go with the owl option, this means Eze would be getting his letter from Kitty first, which would quite possibly lead to him freaking out all over the place. IE trying to strangle the one person there with a documented history of sleeping with students. (HI EV.) or something
also idc if Eze gets shot or not so long as he isn't shot anywhere important....
Odira Browne - July 25, 2012 03:44 AM (GMT)
Cal can't get shot because he is returning home to a dead wife and does not need a gunshot wound on top of this. Beyond that, he's lazy, so he would help with a rescue but not instigate one.
And he will stop to harass Cass and Sam.
Tiberius Lestrange - July 25, 2012 04:41 AM (GMT)
This all works so far.
James thinks Eze should get shot for being an idiot.
We need whomever plays the Muggles in the thread to add some input so that we can actually move things along. Instead of this "let's do some more chatting for a week" business.
Morgan Ilkin - July 25, 2012 02:01 PM (GMT)
SOMEONE CALLED FOR A MUGGLE?!
Seriously, though. No need to use force! Morgan will happily give them away if James and Everett promise to give them to authorities xD Simple as that.
Eze's mouth better stays shut. We do not want him held hostage now, do we? :P
EDIT:
BOOYAH, I AM ON THE SECOND PAGE XD
Tiberius Lestrange - July 25, 2012 03:36 PM (GMT)
James can totally talk up a good story. Something along the lines of "Oh, gosh, these are escapees from our asylum. Our village sent us out to look for them, but I never dreamed they would have gotten this far!" XD
I vote we keep them shackled all the way back to Hogsmeade. "In case the Muggles are still watching" / because he wants to be vindictive for Sam/Cass
So now all we need now is to get the Muggles to show us the captives, so that James can have a "moment of recognition" or some such?
James will even offer to pay them for the resources spent housing and boarding the prisoners. He'd have to return with coin, obviously, once he can get some muggle money, but still.

Callum will insist upon this.
For James' own good, he might want to free Moira and Mariana, though xD
Tiberius Lestrange - July 25, 2012 03:44 PM (GMT)
Sooner than Cass and Sam. Not until he is very very very sure there are no more Muggles, though.
Odira Browne - July 28, 2012 02:06 PM (GMT)
OKAY SO OLIVE'S LADY WHOSE NAME I AM TOO LAZY TO LOOK UP HAS GIVEN US FOOD. Presumably, we are at the same house as the prisoners.
For the sake of continuity, I'm saying now is the point at which Morgan goes down to "tend" to Moira's shoulder? That way the "upstairs" (if the prisoners are in a basement, which I'm assuming they are xD) is group 11 thread and the downstairs is group 7 thread?

James Riley - August 5, 2012 03:26 PM (GMT)
Consider yourselves rescued, beeches.
So at this point, James is tending to the wounded, Morgan is theoretically fetching the rest of Group 11, who will help tie everyone up and march them out of the village and back to Hogsmeade.
OMG HOGSMEADE. REMEMBER WHEN WE LIVED THERE?
Ezekial Aesalon - August 5, 2012 03:35 PM (GMT)

Also, I am vanishing off the face of the planet either in.... 9 or 30 hours. Consider you all given powerplay permission for Eze once I pitter off; if you need him somewhere just move him.
Ursula Black - August 5, 2012 03:44 PM (GMT)
Seeing as they're going to be free shortly, I think a date should be agreed on for when they return to Hogsmeade. Considering the rescue party appear to have turned up within 48 hours of Group #7's capture, the absence afterwards could be put down to traveling back to Hogsmeade without the assistance of a map which if you keep going the wrong way would take quite a while on foot.
Also what about the belongings and wands of the captives - that may want to be mentioned at some point so it's not like 'Hey! I'm back in Hogsmeade! Oh crap I need a new wand.'
Violet Ollivander - August 5, 2012 03:49 PM (GMT)
Woohoo go group 7! We should get an article up summarizing what happened, now that the last groups are home.
EDIT: We'll have them returning yesterday and today, the 4th and 5th, just for the sake of ease of timelines and whatnot. Sound alright?
