<b>Appearance:</b> Her hair is very long (to hips), darker brown in color and mostly worn in a big, low bun. She has very fair skin and wide, bold blue eyes. Her lips are in a perpetual pout it seems, and she is very slight and slender, weighing around 114lbs. She stands at about 5'6" and has long willowy limbs. Though sometimes considered pretty, most find her to be quite odd looking. Her oddity can be what is found attractive about her sometimes. Her skin is sensitive to the sun, being half vampire, and she almost always walks around with a parasol. If not that, then a bonnet to keep the sun from burning her too bad. Her canines are a bit sharper than average, but not sharp enough to bring any consistent suspicion about her heritage. When she hasn't had any blood lately, she can look quite sickly and even more pale than usual. Because of this, she is careful to have a bit of blood at least once a month. Her mother takes care of getting her the blood. Her style of dress is usually that of a less elaborate muggle gown topped with a witches cloak, and often with a smaller pointed hat. <br>
<b>History:</b> July 1856 - Anastasiya Orlov has an affair with an unknown vampire, a desperate act after finding that her husband was unable to give her a child. <br>
<i>Childhood</i> || When Lilyana is born, Anastasiya does not tell her husband of Lilyana's true father and raises her as if Vadim is her father. As a child, she is much like any other girl. She enjoys playing with others and doing her chores and is a very sweet, open young girl. They encounter no real problems until Lilyana is four, almost five. She starts acting irritably and is starting to look quite sickly. Anastasiya thinks she may need blood, and thus tells Lilyana of her true heritage on her fifth birthday. After having some blood, Lilyana feels better and continues to drink blood about once a month. The secret of her biological father is kept secret, and even knowing how she was made, she still sees Vadim as her father. After finding out of her vampire heritage, Lilyana isolates herself from her playmates and becomes much more reserved, a stark contrast to her previously beaming personality. Rather than playing, she instead focused on her etiquette lessons and reading and such. Lilyana grew up comfortably and learned proper etiquette like every young woman should.<br>
<i>Hogwarts Years</i> || When she came of age, she was sent a letter to attend Hogwarts, something that relieved her mother greatly as she feared that her vampire heritage may render her magic-less. Upon arrival, she was sorted into Ravenclaw where, through the years, many people claimed she was not good enough to be there. She did well enough in most of her classes, doing poorly in Arithmancy and Defense Against the Dark Arts. She was neither exceptionally praised or particularly berated. She did well enough and preferred to blend into the background, partly in fear of someone figuring out her true heritage. Lilyana went to great lengths not to draw attention to herself, even purposely answering questions wrong to lower her scores in tests and homework. She was a part of no club and generally kept to herself, thought of as a strange and odd looking girl. She was okay with this mostly, so long as no one found out about who her father really was. She graduated with good grades, but nothing to give her any stand out career.<br>
<i>Adult Life</i> || After leaving Hogwarts, she went on to be a seamstress. This was a job that she enjoyed, even though she knew that her intelligence was wasted on it. When her parents moved to Hogsmeade in 1878, she accompanied them and took a job at Twilfit and Tatting's. Her adult life is much like her childhood was, her keeping to herself and hardly having anyone to consider a true friend. <br>
<b>Personality:</b> <i>Reserved </i> || Fearful of being found to be a half vampire, Lilyana keeps to herself. Though she is by no means rude, offering the courteous smiles and talk necessary for her job, she is just quite hard to get close to. She doesn't consider many to truly be a friend, though there are some you could say she has acquaintanceships with. Overall, she likes to blend into the background and unless it is directly necessary, she won't talk to anyone.<br>
<i>Observant </i> || Being quiet as she is, it leaves a lot of time for observation. This is helped by her slightly heightened senses. She can often tell the true motives of others easier than most, with her keen eye for observation. Though she sees a great many things, she keeps it to herself so as not to welcome any attacks against her that could uncover her secrets.<br>
<i>Cynical </i> || Because she can often tell the motives of others, she has become quite cynical as most motives are not positive in any way. She questions the motives of anyone talking to her and sees that the world in whole is not that great a place. Though she doesn't hate people, she is very wary of them and mostly thinks that more are self-serving and bad rather than selfless and good.<br>
<i>Witty</i> || Though tucked safely away, she is quite witty. She's been known to let her sharp tongue loose around those she is truly comfortable with. Her humor is often of the witty and sarcastic variety, though most would not know this.<br>
<i>Bookish</i> || Lilyana is quite intelligent, and as such, she loves to read. When she has free time, she is almost always seen with a book to her nose, whether it be educational or fiction. In a way, she uses books to make up for her lack of social interaction, becoming attached to the characters in books to make up for her lack of attachments to real people. She realizes that she does this though and sees it to be a necessary thing, as she can't risk being found out to be half vampire.<br>
<i>Protective</i> || She is fiercley protective of those she loves, namely her mother. Most of her reason for being reserved is so that no one will found out her heritage, and as such, no one can ridicule and ostracize her mother. She keeps the secrets not for her own well being, but for her mothers. The thought of Vadim leaving her - which though he is a sweet man he would undoubtedly would - breaks her heart and motivates her to further isolate herself from people.

Overall, she is a pleasant young lady, even if she doesn't have a chance to show it often. Though she won't admit it, she yearns for more relationships in her life, but also greatly fears them. <br>

A part of her wished she could revel in the freedom of youth, but she knew it would be far too dangerous. If anyone were to find out about her, it would cause many problems, not only for herself but for her parents. Vadim was a good man, a loving man, but if he found out of his wife's indiscretion that had created Lilyana, he would not be so forgiving. The thought pained Lilyana. It pained her more than the teasing she could hear about her from a few benches away. Yes, she thought this is all for the best. And with that, she turned back to her book, pushing all thoughts of friendship and love far from her mind. She was happy enough with her mother and father; why did she need people like this anyways?
