Let's Get Going.

I pretty much raced out of the pokemon center with River, so excited to have finally gotten my starter pokemon. "Wow, that's so cool. I think we're going to be an awesome team, River."

[Dark~Storm]

River nodded, cheering excitedly at the fact he had been picked by, hopefully, a better person this time.
He seemed to want to look around the town, even though he was eager to leave too.

[sparks]

"Well, we can look around a bit." I smiled, and headed into town. It had probably been a while since River had been in town.

[Dark~Storm]

River seemed pleased to be running around outside of his ball. He would maybe like to do this alot.

[sparks]

I was glad he was enjoying himself, and walked alongside him. Not too sure where we were going, but it didn't seem to matter much.

He stayed close to you, and when a car splashed water on him, he cheered eagerly. Seeming to enjoy that.
You were making your way out of town, but getting a good nosy around too..

[sparks]

I laughed, "wow you are a silly pokemon." I continued walking, looking around. Wondering if there was anything to see in the village even.

[Dark~Storm]

'Am not!' River seemed to sulk at being called silly. He had feelings, just like you obviously..

[sparks]

I laughed, "I was just kidding." It was funny to see him react like that, in a way at least. I continued through the village, looking around curiously.

[Dark~Storm]

You, nor River were sure of how to get out really. Maybe you could ask someone, and find your way out that way..

[sparks]

I decided that would probably be the smartest idea. I looked for someone who looked approachable, I didn't want to ask some scary-looking stranger. "Um, do you know how to get out of the vilage?"

[Dark~Storm]

It was a nice seeming old gentleman that you asked, he smiled as River waved at him cheerily. "Ah, he does remind me of my own totodile." He smiled. "The way out.. Yes. You head east, down this street here, and take the third right, and you should find that the ground becomes pebbley, thats the way you want to take." He told you.

[sparks]

Ah, looks like I picked the right person. "Thank you!" I motioned to River to follow, and headed east towards the exit of the village.

[Dark~Storm]

"Not a problem my dear." The man said with a smile, and you saw him give River something which made him grin, as he followed you now. He seemed to want to hide his object though..

I blinked, wondering what it could have been that River was given. "What have you got there?" I asked, smiling.
