River seemed less adventurous about meeting some new pokemon, but still followed along by Sam's side.
He was her loyal little buddy already.

River giggled and passed you the stone. Maybe you had a book or something to tell you what it was, if not. Maybe the nurses in the next town could explain how it worked?

It was still upset at being, almost, trodden on. It reared on its little legs and hit into River with the force of a bullet train! River growled and scratched out to defend himself.
