Welcome to the boards! I hope this will be an enjoyable place for people to visit. First, though, the rules:

1) No personal attacks/slander. People come to boards to chat, relax, and share opinions. Not to be insulted. You can disagree without insults. If I see this happening, I will close the thread, and if it becomes a habit for any member, I will likely ban you.

2) I'm not a huge fan of gossip.. but I also know it is somewhat inevitable. For the time being, I don't mind if people post information they have found.. like magazine articles for example. You should feel free to 'discuss' these things.. not argue or mud-sling the other people here or the celebrities themselves. However, I will not accept slander or blatant insults about celebrities here. We have no right to make moral/character judgements about people we don't know, and threads taking a turn for that will be closed. If, however, it becomes apparent that people can't limit themselves to 'general' talk about celebrities, I will ban all gossip entirely.
Please note that While I'll allow pics of celebrities (a la Angelina Jolie), absolutely NO razzi (ie: unapproved) of children will be posted on this forum. That said, the admin and geek squad have the right to pull any images that are deemed to go 'overboard' in terms of being graphical, an overt invasion of privacy, etc.

3) In your profile settings you can add an avatar. The size is limited to 100x100. --no flash/animated/slide avatars--

4) Regular members cannot have images in their signatures! Pistols can have images for the time being. I will limit it to basic banner size (maximum of 468x60) or smaller. To add an image, simply put {img} url of your picture {/img}. If you want it to link somewhere, do this:
EXAMPLE: {url=your url you want the clicks to go to}{img}your image url{/img}{/url}
You do not use the {} brackets you use these [] the {} are just to keep my example from becoming an active coding.

Please limit the text in your signatures to 3 lines in default size. (Plus one for gold coin tally) No text should be larger than size 7 in your signature. No more than 5 smilies should be in anyone's signature.

5) For images (avatars/signatures) please avoid anything overly sexual or lewd. If I can see it or say it on daytime television.. it's allowed. If not, contact a member of staff for approval.

Basic rules:

6) No bumping threads. Only post a reply if you have something useful (or funny ) to say.

7) Don't post things that don't belong to you without giving credit for them. That includes news, pictures, and so on.

8) If you're about to post something considered a spoiler, at the very least ALWAYS write: "Warning: Possible Spoiler" in the first line of your post.

9) Don't hotlink/directly link to a picture or file if the site forbids it or even just asks you not to do so. It eats up their bandwidth. Instead, same as I ask you to do with pictures from my site, save them to a server like photobucket, and link to that.

10) Fanfic/Look-a-like picture Postings: Please keep in mind that the material belongs to those who write/take them. Though you are free to reply and say things like "What a great fic/picture!" Don't post negative comments or steal text/pictures to use on your own or to post on another site without permission from the author/model/photographer.

11) There should only be one user name/registration per person. I will check IP addresses from time to time, and those found in violation will be warned/banned depending on the circumstances.

12) As should be obviousk, try to avoid excessive typing in all CAPS... or even worse.. variant typing such as "SaYinG HEll0 L1Ke THi5" It WILL be deleted.

13) Disable your signatures in picture-centric threads (even if you only have a text signature). Most of these threads will have that posted in the first post of each thread, but it's a univeral rule, even if not stated. You can and will receive official warnings if you don't disable your signature on a regular basis.

14) Though, I'm sure I forgot to mention many things that seem obvious to me right now.. Use common sense. If it doesn't fly on other message boards, it won't fly here. Show respect and we won't have a problem.

Failure to follow the above rules, and to act in a decent/respectful manner, can result in the use of our warning system. For minor offenses, you will get 5 warnings, and then be suspended and/or banned. For major offenses, we reserve the right to immediately ban.

Lastly, have fun! That's the point
