Careflly walking towards the Cathedral, Crysler begins to think that maybe the wounds Xavier took kiled him, he wasn't completley unscathed from the battle. Chrysler shrugs and continues his thoughtful walk towrds the large crystal doors that showed eveyrthing inside the Cathedral they had nothing to hide from the public. Chrysler opens them both and wlaks in. It seems the same as his old Church, pews and a long walkway up he middle covered with a red capet that seemed to be made out of the finest materials. Chrysler walk al the way up to the alter which was beautifully made out of crystal. By the wokrmanship of the people on this island and in this town maybe Chrysler could learn a thing or to.
"Hello! Anyone Home? I was wonderng about the rumours I heard of Lightmagic was being used here, I would greatly like to learn from anyone about it..."
Chrysler looks aboutin all directions, craning his head aroudn the altar he sees no one there.
But non one was there, it had been abandoned, yet behind the large piano, there was a book. A sticky note upon it read, "We are not here right now, but my house is the one secodn to the end. IT is painted a light yellow. If you are looking for me, fidn me there"

Chrysler picks the book up from the ground and reads the sticky note, he pulls it off and folds it placing into his pocket. He looks at the title on the book.
"Anti-Arcane magic"
Chrysler opens it up and reads a paragraph, it was in a dialect that Chrysler couldn't understand all in riddles. Chrysler sighs, he wouldn't learn anything by himslef. He decides to go and talk with the man who had placed the book there.
"Well, time to go visit this man"
Chrysler then walks out of the Cathedral, stopping once he's outside he takes one deep breathe and looks about the church, what a beautiful cathedral. He then turns and walks bak into town.

Slightly bowing towards the man Chrysler begins
"Good day to you sir, my names is Adamn P. Chrysler, I am a former minister at the St. Maria's church. I found this book in the cathedral and it had a sticky note on it directing me to this house. I was wondering if you could teach me what it means."
"You wish to learn eh? Well, follow me into my home." He left the door opena nd motioned for andrew to come inside. "Here I have, a book. The map inside will lead you to a very special place where you will obtain a very speciak ability." He finished. Then handed him a book with the compelted treasure map D. (put in items)

(Arcane is like evil, so it's evil magic and I can't get the image to come up)
“Of course, it’d have to be one of those sort of maps”
Chrysler stares at the map for a few moments allowing it to soak into his mind, he then takes the book he found in the Cathedral and holds it out towards the old man.
“I was wondering if you could tell me about this book, I’ve looked through it for a long time and it’s just encased in riddles and poems that make no sense, things like…
He opens the books up and reads out a small paragraph
“Seven of them rode out that morning to places unknown stolen books, staffs and one black stone As they rode from the town they had plundered They had no idea that they had severely blundered For as they took the stone one hand dove out of the earth and dove for the stone The seven of them were never seen after that morning riding to places unknown
This was the poem I encountered during my thorough investigation into the oblivion shard, filled with such tremendous power that the unearthly being known only as shadows and whispers amongst the many villagers who didn’t dare steal that stone. Those seven riders were the first and the last of whom tried to take the stone. Now as I write in these scriptures regarding such power I often forget that readers will lust after the stone so I raise this one warning about the oblivion shard “those who seek the hidden are destined to die”
-Page 167, Paragraph 12, Chapter 12 -The Scribe
I’m hoping you understand this”
Chrysler awaits an answer
(OOC: You can make something up or I can tell you what I was thinking)
(((You can still tell me what you were thinking)))
"Yes, That book is filled with many mysteries, most I do not know the meaning of either. But this one I do. It has to do with the map. And that is all I can tell you. One of them holds something you may be seeking, and that one also leads to a place unknown. Is that enough information for you? But to get there, you must cross the waters in between. There is a boat rental just at the tip of the island"

Chrysler places the map softly into his overhanging bag and then thrust himself into the magic book. Searching through pages he was immensely interested in these magic’s that the book spoke of a shard of such evil power that it could actually act on it’s own protecting itself. Chrysler hummed to himself in amusement and he walked down the quiet streets of a small village. He then found a page that seemed to have been scratched in with blood. Unreadable as blood dripped over the lets Chrysler began to try and read it, harder and hard her thought until his foot steppe don thin air
“Oh Darn”
he had walked so far without thinking about his surroundings that he had actually reached the peer and on the jetty he had stepped out off of it, falling downwards he grabs a hold of the splintering wood and heaves himself up
“Now where is a boat that I can use to follow this darned map”
There was a rack of boats nearby, in front of it was the boat shop, and inside was the only other man around, "All boats, now just 2000 qu!" Man, That's expensive. The man turns awaya nd begisn to read his newspaper. *hint hint*

Chrysler silently sneaks past the shopkeeper reading his paper.
Anyone who charges that much shouldn’t have boats
Chrysler hops into one of the boats, he looks about for the ropes holding the boat to the dock. He sees and quickly slices it with Sora. He then jumps up the boat now beginning to drift from the docks, he waves goodbye to the shopkeeper
“Don’t worry buddy, I’ll bring it back in one peace… ah hopefully”
Chrysler then opens the sails and begins to guide it out of the small bay, the wind rocketing against his robes, he places Sora back in her sheath and looks out at the sun high in the sky, this would suit him if he were attacked, his Solar Flare would come in very handy
(((ok, you will have to lead from here on out until we get to the "place" becasue tere's nothign out here that I can control. but I'll let you know what you see, etc.
