It was strange, wandering around all by herself in the new lands of Azula..... Amberonn smiled to herself, content with the excitemnt witheld in the idea of a journey. She placed a paw on a rust-colored mound of rock and pulled her lightly clothed body up to an off-set that boasted on the side of the mountain. It was a perfect little resting place, with just enough room to host someone of her size, and perhaps several others. It might had been able to hold more, if not for the strange palm-like tree that feathered it's long leaves out across the cliff. She looked down. She couldn't be very far from the ground, probably only about fifty or sixty feet, no more than that. It surprised her, the reaction she had once climging to the top. There was something about that feeling that rush through your veins, adrenaline if you like.
She glanced upward. The side of the mountain was covered in tiny weeds and multi-colored flowers that fluttered willingly in the breeze. It was warm, more warm than usual for your typical early spring day. She ran a hand over the soft silk of her pink-tinted shirt. It was a low-necked top, one that flowed down to her elbows and frilled out in series of curls. She rubbed her arms together and sighed. Although quite beautiful, it was lonely up there without anyone else. She looked over hte side again, taking it all in. She could almost see her reflection in the vast, wavy waters of the lake that lay in the meadows below. You could see the silhouettes of the three seperate peaks of the mountain, all tipping and turning in the calm current. The strange thing was the color of the reflections; some how, some way, whether in Amberonn's imagination.... or not. They glimmered a beautiful golden color, like honey.
She cocked her head slightly to the left and glared back at the water. It was a hue somewhere off the color of cerulean, and between aquamarine. All together, it held it's own among the gorgeous variaty of flora and fauna that made their home in the grasslands below. It provoked her curiousity, the color of the reflections. When she herself had passed the lake, she were normal colors, her own normal colors. And so were the peaks. But, as she had rose off into the sky, the mountains had suddenly changed from a dusky gray to an illuminating gold, almost to the point of being blinding. Amberonn shook her head, eyes closed, and wrapped her arms around her legs. It couldn't be. All of this newness must be getting to her....
