The wind ruffled through Amberonn's pure white fur as she stood on the edge of the orchard, eyes gazing out into the trees. She stood there, stomach growling hungrily. She smiled to herslef, brushing her fur back into place. It was relatively warm; she had just left Quinn back at the forest while she went to look for food. And, to her luck, she had found some food. As far as her wide-emerald could see, there were trees filled to the brim with fruit. There were apples, peaches, pears and plums, lemons, limes, cherries and strawberries. She was to the point of starving for something delilicious to eat. She blinked curiously. She quickly stepped forward and walked into the trees, looking for something to eat.
She was nearing a peach tree when she tripped over a protruding root. She plopped down on her bottom and yelped, grabbing at her foot. It throbbed beneath the skin, bringing her to the point of releasing a vile curse. She shook her head and sat there. Why couldn't she watch where she was going! that had always been one of her problems. She edged herself onto her side and crawled towards the tree. Once she had reached it, she pressed her weight to it and stood, glaring up at the ripe fruit that dangled above her head.
It was abrupt and sudden, but she began to sing a cute little song that she had learned when she was younger. It was a sweet melody, something where you could just hear the birds chirping merrily along with it. She stood on her tip-toes and reached up, grabbing the plumpest peach on the branch. She grimaced as the pain in her ankle started reacting, forcing her to take a seat back at the edge of the tree. Amberonn smiled and began peeling the fur off the peach. She glanced out at the sky. It was a bright day, windy in the least, but the warmth of it had dissappeared under the shade of the big tree. She bit into the peach, quite disgruntled, then straightened her back and laughed. Here she was, half eating a peach, half singing and laughing like a raving lunatic. That was her alright. She did wish that she wasn't alone though. It would be nice to share this fruit with someone. If Quinn hadn't wandered off, she could have shared the fruit with her.
