Since we're starting to crack down on the information pertaining to the TR-6, it is best that we start collaborating and gathering information in a thread of its own to ensure that the information is organized and correct.

Recently, ninjascience posted this in the TR-5 "Fiver" database:

The correlation chart shows the TR-6 as been the next step in the Hazel Evolutionary ladder. I don't see that being a transformable mobile suit. Unless it's a two parter like the ZZ. Mark was able to find notes that indicate the TR-6 uses a next-gen version of the Hrududu that is able to dock/undock while in space, away from a hangar.

Lets go from here.

ninjascience, which correlation chart shows the TR-6? I haven't been able to find this evidence.

More precisely, there's a marginal note in one of the Hazel-Rah line art sheets that says the functional data obtained from all this Hrududu docking business might be used later on to ensure "smooth combining and separation" in the TR-6. The term used here is the same one used to describe combining mobile suits like the Gundam ZZ and Superior Gundam, and there's no particular indication that the TR-6 will use add-on equipment like the Hrdudu to achieve it.

As for the development correlation chart, it first appeared in the February issue of Dengeki Hobby and was just reprinted in the fourth volume of the Advance of Zeta modeling book series. This chart shows the TR-6 as a successor to the Hazel-Rah Second Form and the mysterious "Next Generation Mass Production Prototype MS", a variant of the Advanced Hazel that looks kind of like a Barzam with superpowers. So far, I think that's pretty much everything we know about the TR-6, and it sure ain't very much.

This technique is also seen in the G-Defensor combined/ separates with the Gundam MK-II during the Grsyp war. Prabably it can be the term for Super Gundam.

My Zeta memory is shot, but if I recall, AE developed the G-Defensor for AEUG as a response to the MK-II being left behind by TMS in terms of mobility in space. Unless the Titans were leaking stuff to AE, I don't think it'd be a G-Defenser per se. That doesn't discount the possibility that it might be G-Defenser-like, and possibly even an epigone of the G-Defenser in many respects.

The question is, will Fujioka follow the plan and try to meld this TR-6 in with an existing MS, or will he go on a separate route?

BTW: I just got my Gundam MK-II V2.0 Titans version, and the box (and the manual) indicates that the MK-II and the Hazel are, technically, separate branches of the same evolution (from the GM Quel). Technology might bleed over, but the way the flowchart goes, the MK-II and Hazel effectively part ways after the GM Quel. If that's the case, we could be looking at a completely new and unique MS that might not be linked (directly) to any existing Zeta MS...

I think having the TR-6 be an existing suit would be extremely disappointing to AoZ fans. To have all these great new designs pop out of AoZ, that while not congruous with Zeta in terms of sophistication or style, they are very cool, and then have it all end with an existing design would be a let down. Besides, I don't think it's likely, given the clues we have.

It's a bit of an unimportant 'tidbit', but I have a feeling the TR-6 will be designated as 'Woundwort'.

What would make you think that? Any leads to this conclusion?

I thought the new theory was Primrose, after the core fighter preview Mark showed us.

The Primrose is just an upgrade to the Advanced Hazel. Whatever the TR-6 turns out to be, the previously published development charts indicate that it will combine elements of the Hazel-Rah and the Primrose-equipped Advanced Hazel.

Woundwort was the evil warlord rabbit. He was big & burly, able to kill a stoat. So I suppose ittwould be a good name to give to a Super Gundam-like MS mod package. smile.gif I don't know of darkstar's info, but the phonetic katakana would be a definite lead.

AHH. Yes, sorry about that. I was going to offer an explanation, but I was hard pressed for time and I never got around to it. Well, Zionista's got it down *what he said* biggrin.gif ...plus I'm not really feeling the care to write anymore about it. Just throwing it out there.

one of my own theories is: El-ahrairah

"The Prince with a Thousand Enemies"

It's a legendary rabbit folk hero in the Watership down story.

Oh... that makes more sense.

With the new understanding of the Primrose Core, this TR-6's functions are really starting to make sense.

Though I doubt it will be another Hazel, since all Hazel additions since the TR-1 are still Designated TR-1.

This TR-6 should theoretically have that core system as well as a docking system for something like the Hrududu (or it could actually use those)

I had originally thought that the TR-6 would be something like the Mk-00, but since we're already into Zeta, that would make minimal to no sense. Still, its important to notice the features of the two Hazels that make up the TR-6's design:

Next Generation Mass Productive Prototype MS Features:
Mk II Shield, Mk II Beam rifle, Primrose core system, dual shield booster backpack, Advanced Hazel head and leg additions, manipulator claws.

PLUS

RX-121-1+FF-X29A Gundam Hazel TR-1 [Hazel-Rah] Second Form Features:
Advanced Hazel head and leg mods ( already in the other unit), and the Second form FF-X29A Parts.

Seems like even more of an overkill combination! Though technically, those two units wouldn't work together since the new Primrose Torso on the NG Proto don't allow for the armor from one of the Hrududu's to connect to it. Still, with another technicality, that option could be left out, since the Hrududu's are only fitted to the Hazel before combat and not durring actual combat in mid-flight. STILL there was mention that this TR-6 would be capable of a mid-flight transformation or docking sequence. With THAT in mind, I think this rules out the possiblity of another Hrududu on the TR-6 since they aren't capable of such manuvers.

Taking all of that into count...

...I now have no Idea what this thing will be like...
