I can think of a few Mobile suits with this same kind of design. Many times with Mobile Suits, the more mobile you make your machine, the less mobile some parts have to be. Perhaps the idea of pivoting the torso has been thrown out since its a High-speed fighter anyways? As I recall, the S Gundam has this same issue, and many other complex machines that have core fighters can't move at the torso because of the design. Heck, even the old Guntank couldn't pivot at the waist because of the core block system.

I just want to ask if TR-6 Advanced Woundwort EX is equipped with standard beam saber.
I read AOZ raw manga vol4 and i saw TR-6 holding a beam saber after the colony laser fired the titans fleet. The beam saber is then used to slash Hilda's nemo (without killing the pilot).
I never saw a beam saber lutch in TR-6 artwork before, so i just want to know if Eliard just grab it from other MS or TR-6 is equipped with standard beam sabers?

I'm guessing it's just on there somewhere. It seems pretty rare to see Gundam-type MS not outfitted with Beam Sabers, at least in UC.

Go ahead and quote Gundams that don't have them, but I'm just stating it seems rare.

I haven't seen any lineart of it's location though. However, I can't say I've looked. It's worth some digging!

These 3 pages are in order if you open from up to down.

The author didn't show us how Eliard changed his right arm composite shield booster with a beam saber.

These are the 2 pages where Eliard slash Hilda's Nemo with a beam saber.

Fujioka never drew TR-6's beam saber lutch as far as i can remember. Don't know if he mentioned it in the text or in the description, cause i can't read kanjis >_<.

Several UC Gundams i know is not equipped with beam saber:
1. FA Gundam
2. Psycho Gundam
3. Gundam Netix (from GGeneration Spirits, an upgrade of NT-1 Alex)
4. Plan303E DEEP Striker & S-Gundam Booster Mode

Probably just Manga Magic then. Ugh... seeing the TR-6 so poorly drawn too...

One thing I just never really appreciated about Manga. I wish they could take the time to draw them right.

if they took the necessary time then they probably would never finish.

the quality actually looks pretty good for a manga. definitely better than the vol 1 scans I've seen.

Not sure if this has been posted, but our good friend ninjascience pulled this from an artbook. I had never seen it before I took a trip through his flickr account (something I haven't done in ages!)

Good to see there's still more AoZ that's new to me. Kinda freshens things up a bit... and it's wonderful to see that headgear in there too. Thanks, Fujioka!!
