Okay, does anyone have anything on the MK00?

All i managed to gather was this...

Thanks for that. So i guess Parts of the GP04 were already built when the project was rejected. I see the GP04 Backpack was used as well as the Shield.

From a timeline's standpoint, that doesn't make any sense though... the GP-04 Project was scrapped durring 0083 and the existing frame was used to make the Gerbera Tetra for Cima. How could there still be another unit based off of it? Or are we assuming the design itself was reproduced?

Possibly, But the 00 was first deployed four years later. I remember the scene in 0083 saying the files for 01-03 were deleted and we know that 04 was re-designed into Gerbera, but the left overs of the Gundam GP04 (the long beam rifle, Shield, Backpack, etc) were either given or purchased by the Titans.



I'm assuming the same back pack design used for the GP-04 was also used for this model. Just this new backpack can't mount the sturm boosters.

Well, just because the GP-04 wasn't completed, doesn't mean that the Backpack, shield, and rifle were just lying around. The rifle isn't the same anyways, but I do see the design similarities. I'm sure it was just extra information that the Titans dug up.

sorry to say this, but still i cannot see the differences between the mk-00 and the mk-II

the only difference that i can see is the shield...

Well at first glance you can't but looking closer you can see the differences.

Things I've noticed that are easy to miss:

Vents: On either side of the upper torso in conjunction with those already existing on the front of the torso (much like the ones the GM Quel has)

Shoulders: Resemble that of a GM Custom, almost combined designs of Mk II and GM Custom Shoulders

Skirt Armor: Its just not the same, again, more like GM Quel

Rear Legs: Thrusters that weren't there before

Backpack: GP-04G Backpack design

Optional Armaments: Shield and Rifle are completely different.

I find it hard to believe that this one suit costs a bunch of Pegasus Class ships. Sure, they splurged on it like no tomorrow, resulting in impressive (definitely not perfect) achievements, but it still doesn't seem to add up. One has to wonder how it would fare against the Zeta, though.
