Char Aznable - August 10, 2005 05:28 AM (GMT)
Probably old, but here are some screenshots.

Bazookafied - August 10, 2005 05:36 AM (GMT)

...impeccable. I can't even digest what I just saw...

Char Aznable - August 10, 2005 05:39 AM (GMT)
i only looked at the first two archives, might look at the other three later.

Kpt. Kamiiru - August 10, 2005 09:55 PM (GMT)
have you guys seen the streaming trailers over at the Official MS Igloo site? the CG is crazy, especially when you see the Red Zaku perform a maneuver in full 3D rendering. such speed!!

this could go over into the Gundam Discussion section.

Deacon Blues - August 11, 2005 02:16 AM (GMT)
LoL! I forgot I had those screenshots up on my server... *snickers*

It was translated... for those that download fansubs... the manga that is running in Gundam has has odd character art, but fantastic mechanics... *starts scanning it in again*

So far there is::

The Manga
The Novelization

guranto - August 11, 2005 04:18 AM (GMT)
I've seen the first episode's last half. The guy who works at the Kuramae nearby was actually one of the people who helped Sub the first episode.

The Zaku going and doing a strafe around the ship's bridge was just awesome.

I love the idea of a show from Zeon's perspective that shows war the way they do in it. The prototype weapons are also pretty cool.

It's definitely something to love, I just wish it was more then a 6 episode OVA. =\ It's like teasing us.

Titans Ace - August 12, 2005 06:47 PM (GMT)
Must have US release..........
It would appear that the people who worked on Final Fantasy The Spirits Whithin worked on this

Commander Waltfeld - August 14, 2005 02:42 AM (GMT)
hey Ive never even hear of this being 3d i thought it was cartoon animation

Commander Waltfeld - August 14, 2005 02:45 AM (GMT)

Kpt. Kamiiru - August 14, 2005 07:48 PM (GMT)
no, it takes place in 0079 actually a while before the One Year War.

Pretty much, this takes place in January at the very beginning of the war long before The Battle of Loum. It focuses on a group of Zeons, and reveals one of the many untold secrets of the OYW

Deacon Blues - August 16, 2005 05:43 AM (GMT)
The OVA/Manga takes place all throughout the OYW...

Episode 2 screenshots up.

The studio that did that closed down long ago.

The CG of Igloo varies in quality. Sometimes its exceptional and other times it can be a bit to rubbery and stiff looking. I'm hoping with later episodes that it does improve a bit but its still pretty decent.

The CG heavily reminds me of game cut scenes in quality.

Bazookafied - August 17, 2005 12:08 AM (GMT)
Whoa! I didn't know those MS sized tanks had a MS-type mode! I also didn't expect to see Federation Pilots using stolen Zakus this early in the game. Seems like a great script for the story!

Zionista - September 7, 2005 11:55 AM (GMT)
Just a reminder, IGLOO 2 is available over here now!

Char Aznable - September 18, 2005 05:04 PM (GMT)

Ogeray - September 18, 2005 05:09 PM (GMT)
i heard that it will be comming out in america
is that true?
if so that would be great

The_Marshal_AEB - September 18, 2005 05:17 PM (GMT)
Where is "IgLoo2 is available here now" ??? who have it subbed ?

Zionista - September 20, 2005 12:51 PM (GMT)
Bit early on the good news, it has not been subbed....yet. I have seen a raw episode though, and it rocked! The MMT-1 Hildrofer, Zion does the guntank one better! The Semovante make their appearance! See Bazookafied's $33 HGUC Zaku get what it (doesn't) deserve! Another excellent episode, and this time we don't have to worry about where the *#@%& colonies were supposed to be!

The_Marshal_AEB - September 20, 2005 06:39 PM (GMT)
Ya saw the screenshots of the 2nd episode, but must have a subbed video u know ;) and I think that they must make this thing more than 4 or 6 episodes as they said it will be.

Char Aznable - January 26, 2006 12:08 AM (GMT)

Both Sunrise news and MS IGLOO site announced that the first 3 MS IGLOO episodes will be avaible on Sony PSP's UMD video on April 27. Single UMD disk will contain all 3 episodes for 7140 yen. The extra footages included in the DVD release will not be included.

On a related note, MS IGLOO site updated the following sections:

- Mechanics section with [url=]Gaw Attack Carrier.
- Interview with CG Supervisor Masayoshi Obata

michel - January 28, 2006 07:41 PM (GMT)
my guys, I watched MS Igloo ep. 2, and it's really good...

Much deeper plot/characters that the first one (which was more a sort of an introductive episode), and great pathos-filled battle at the end...

very good! :)

Char Aznable - February 4, 2006 06:55 PM (GMT)

Titans Ace - February 4, 2006 10:47 PM (GMT)
Damn it, we need this in the US!

guranto - February 5, 2006 05:31 AM (GMT)
Yeah, just watched episode 2... I love that Tank! The Zaku battle was awesome.

Random_GM_Pilot - February 5, 2006 04:38 PM (GMT)
The pilot wasn't a favorite for me, but it was definitely an interesting episode. Especially Hildofr itself. Seems like a precursor to the YMS-16M Xamel. And it's cool to see Fed-stolen Zakus. You had to asume this sort of thing happened because of loads of data the Feds had on it in order to start Operation V, but actually seeing it is really cool.

michel - February 15, 2006 08:10 AM (GMT)
Episode 3 fansub by [gg fansubs] has just come out!... :)

Chavelo - February 15, 2006 07:12 PM (GMT)
I don't want to seem bitter, but doesn't Igloo seem a lot like another attempt at glorifying Zeon?

Char Aznable - February 15, 2006 10:11 PM (GMT)
...Basicly yes, But it's just another side story with plenty of MS-V's.

Master P Rayer - February 16, 2006 12:36 AM (GMT)
Oliver and his team sounds like Titans Test Team from AOZ. They're testing new equipments and new mobile weapon.

Haven't seen the second and the third episode though.

CyberSynaptic - February 25, 2006 01:15 AM (GMT)
Just saw the 3rd episode of igLoo...and I gotta say that Jean Luc Duvall is a G. If I wasn't already a total Zeon nut before this, I am now. They certainly made the Feddies out to be a bunch of pompous jerks throughout these 3 parts. I would've liked to see what a perfected Zudah could do during the end of the OYW. That thing can sure move. Anyways, I loved igLoo, and can't wait for the next part titled Apocalypse 0079...I wonder what's gonig to happen to Joutenheim and her crew now.....

goku1234 - February 27, 2006 06:16 PM (GMT)
the first ep was alright, the second ep was pretty good, and the third ep was so-so!! =D

Chavelo - February 28, 2006 01:21 AM (GMT)
I just saw ep 2. And it annoyed me to no end. Not only do they make a better tank/mobile suit, but it can transform. And it was manuevering all over the place and it's armor was nigh indestructible, begging the question is it Luna T armored.

Oh by the way, it wasn't translated, so I have no idea what they were saying. x.x;;;

MS IGLOO site update
The official site updated with info for Apocalypse 0079 episode #2: story synopsis, profiles for the destroyer Mobile Pod Oggo, Chivvay, MS-14 Gelgoog, Core Booster II, Erwin Cadillac (Monique's younger brother & Oggo pilot), and Herbert Von Caspen (Gelgoog pilot).

Regarding the Mobile Pod:
"A unit the Technological HQ gives priority development to with the deteriorating situation of the Zeon forces. It uses pre-existing armaments like the Zaku machine gun and is consequently hastily mass-produced and undergoes evaluations during the final battle at A Baoa Qu."

I always thought MS Igloo was six episodes, I thought I read that somewhere..must've mistaken it from somewhere else

It will be six episodes when all is said and done, split into two groups of three. The first three comprise the "Hidden One Year War" series, the second set of three are the "Apocalypse 0079" series. So far, only one of them has been released with the next due out in June, if I'm not mistaken.

くらい - June 8, 2006 07:00 PM (GMT)
Oh really? Well that's some awesome news to wrap your brain around. Thanks :)

InToXiCaTed - June 8, 2006 11:31 PM (GMT)
Ms igloo Apocalypse 0079 is doing exeptionally well glorifying the Zion. Even though I saw it raw i can still tell some parts of what they where saying. One thing for sure is that i never thought they would make a amphibious mobile suit to an Atmospheric Diver. They sure are desperately trying to stop the Feddies by retrofiting.
