July 15th 2018, the Kennedy Residence
"MOMMY! MOMMY!" There it was, Morgan had been expecting it for the last three minutes. Felicity Kennedy came skipping into the room, a pout on her face that her mother had deemed to be "the Morgan pout" ever since she had started to use it. There was no doubt in anyone's mind that Felicity was her mother's daughter. Morgan stood up and wandered over to her little girl "What's up Fliss?" laughed Morgan picking her up (which required a lot more effort than it used to). "Can we go around to Auntie Lily's please? Please, please, please?" Felicity pouted slightly.
"Are you sure that Auntie Lily wants to see you?" joked Morgan "I don't think she likes you very much," Complete lie, Morgan knew that. Felicity seemed to think this over for a moment frowning a little "Don't be silly mommy, everybody loves me," Felicity said after a moment, the little blonde girl nodded satisfied. Morgan chuckled "What has mommy told you about thinking that everybody loves you Felicity Kennedy?" she asked her daughter, she did this to make sure that she didn't get too big for her boots so to speak. She didn't want a high and mighty daughter.
"That not everybody likes everybody and not everybody will like me," pouted Felicity "But mommy if not everybody likes me, then who does?" she demanded. Morgan laughed "Well me, your daddy, Auntie Lily and all your friends like you. Besides you seem to have a lot of people wrapped around your little finger little missy!" she said, tickling her little girl. The six year old began to laugh "MOMMY!" Felicity protested just a little bit, giggling. After a few moments Morgan stopped and smiled at her little daughter "Fliss, how about you go do a drawing for Auntie Lily and we'll take it around to her," Felicity nodded, happy about this suggestion "Do you think she'd like a dolphin picture?" Morgan smiled "I think that she'd love that," With that she put her little girl down who rushed off to get some crayons. Morgan chuckled leaning back against the wall. She was almost 30, where had all the time gone eh?
