SassyDancer85: Not quite. I thought I'd go to bed early tonight SassyDancer85: I completely forgot that I'd just wake up again, same thing every night. SassyDancer85: I wish I could have just a bit of insomnia, can't remember the last time I've slept more than four or five hours.

SassyDancer85: Understatement of the year. My college did sleep studies on me just to figure out how I was able to function. At least back then I didn't need copious amounts of caffeine SassyDancer85: I'm sure it will get better. I get one more hour of sleep than I used to. SassyDancer85: Oh I understand completely, I would either wake up and study or just climb in bed late after spending time out doing one thing or another. Some of the best art shows didn't even start until 12 am. SassyDancer85: I'm sure Evergreen will grow on you, that and you have to escape to the city every once in awhile to maintain sanity, and chocolate. Circle Center mall has a great Godiva shop.

knotsbegone: Caffeine... Oh how I know thee! Lately, I think I would be truly dragging if not for caffeine. knotsbegone: You like art shows? I've been to a couple, although I am not the best critic. I have some friends who really enjoyed attending art shows. knotsbegone: Don't get me wrong, I love Evergreen so far. It's just getting to know a new town takes me some time. knotsbegone: Of course knowing there is a Godiva Shop in town makes it even more appealing!

SassyDancer85: Meh, back when I was a cheerleader I never seemed to need it, but ever since law school, it has truly been my constant companion. SassyDancer85:Oh yeah I kind of like art shows but only when they are more private affairs where you can talk to the artist and really get a feel for what they are trying to express. SassyDancer85: Oh yeah I know how that goes. I had to do that twice for this town while I was sent away to work on a big legislative case. It was like trying to retrain myself. SassyDancer85: Oh definitely, you should let me know if you ever want to get a fix, we could make a whole day of it. I know some really good restaurants that are in the city as well. Plus some boutiques that are just opening up.

SassyDancer85:Haha I understand that, thankfully I'm already back into my running routine or I'd have some love handles to take care of. I really go into the city to indulge my shopping addiction more so than the chocolate. But I'll be sure to save you some truffles, and that will ensure I don't eat them all :P SassyDancer85:But I'll be sure to save you some truffles, and that will ensure I don't eat them all :D SassyDancer85: I came for my job. I work as a Family Law Attorney at Menkin &Menkin. I'm part of The Vow too, but no such luck. Two ditches, two philandering ex husbands, and the latest turned out to be gay. I think they against me ever having sex :P SassyDancer85:Everything seems smaller compared to New York! But I completely understand, though I usually don't get to see places that my family isn't some how involved with. But at least there's nice trappings. Penthouse in Vegas, mansion in Malibu, chateau in France, resort in Barbados. I have to admit that Campbells and Kentons don't do anything in a 'small way' SassyDancer85: But what I like about the small town is that it feels like I'm not quite as under the microscope as I am where the people are. I got so tired of the gossip. People still gossip here, but no one is getting stinking rich off the facets of my life. :(

Sasha was confused, normally when she talked to random people in chat rooms in the middle of the night it was completely anonymous. But this person thought they knew her, which was different but then again it was a small town...
SassyDancer85: Maybe you've come into for a law consultation? I meet a lot of people that way. But I'm just really getting settled back in town. How long have you been living here?
'Whoa' Sasha thought, this person really did know her, especially if they were calling her by her maiden name. No one had called her that in months, so whoever this was either new or not up on 'current' events...
SassyDancer85: Well yes and no. The last name is Brewer now. But my maiden name was Campbell. SassyDancer85: Hope you don't mind me asking how I know you?

Oh wow, Marley Grayson... the one her mother had called about. Sasha thought about how she had been swamped and hadn't been able to 'reach out' to Marley as her mother had encouraged her. Apparently her parents were concerned, and Sasha kind of understood why, it wasn't everyday that your almost blind daughter moved to a small town.
SassyDancer85: Oh yeah I think I was about 13 back then actually, one of the few trips that Dennis was actually with us. That was the summer before they shipped me off to the Nazis. But I remember having some fun at the Chateau, back when Lenora was just 'renting' it. She finally bought it when the divorce became final. SassyDancer85: I have to say it's a relief to meet someone from New York who it doesn't make my stomach churn to know... Sasha smiled, so getting in touch would be easier than she thought, though it seemed that Marley was doing fine.
SassyDancer85:I've been meaning to head that way, but I'm so used to getting out running, or using the home gym/dance studio. SassyDancer85:We should definitely do dinner, I absolutely love to cook, so maybe we can do it at my place I could show you around the pl You could bring your swim suit and we could use the sauna! Sasha realized that she would have some getting used Marley, but at least she had remembered some tact before she had hit enter.
Sasha had fallen out of her desk chair laughing at the mere thought of Josh being gay. She had never heard something so ridiculous. Besides her having a very strong gaydar, there was also the fact that she had seen how hard it had been for him to not have sex on their honeymoon. As she laughed Floof joined in with her barks, as if she was saying laughing at what Marley had typed too.
SassyDancer85: Let me assure you that now that I've revived myself after dying laughing, that Josh is not gay. I think some might call him pansexual, but to me that just means that he would even have sex with a pan. Let's just call him sexual. He was probably just having 'performance issues' that night. SassyDancer85: But my latest match is indeed a very sweet man who is gay, I'm not marrying him, but I am representing him so that he can adopt as a single gay male. SassyDancer85:Him and Josh are pretty much complete polar opposites. Me and Josh didn't work out because I refuse to raise children with a man who doesn't want them and willfully cheats on me repeatedly.

It was nice to know that Sasha remembered the time they had visited so long ago. And it was equally nice that she had ranked at the level of "people from New York that didn't make her stomach churn." That description amused her and reminded her of home a little too. She knew those types as well and met so very many of them at social gatherings. One thing nice about them was that they usually left her alone.knotsbegone: You run? I miss running. I actually enjoyed it, but I haven't had time to find an interested guide runner. Especially one that I feel I can trust. knotsbegone: And dinner would be excellent. I eat alone far too often. It would be nice to have some conversation. knotsbegone: I am sure you probably cook some absolutely stunning meals. I would offer the same, but besides breakfast, my cooking skills are a bit limited. knotsbegone: I would love a swim and sauna too. You would think I would do more of that since I work at a gym, but for some reason I never seem to partake. Funny huh? knotsbegone: Anyway, it would be fun to have you show me around your place. I am sure you have a beautiful home. Then her fingers froze on the keyboard when Sasha revealed that she had been married to Josh. She also told her that he was not gay and sounded like he'd screw anything in a skirt.
Except her.
What made her different? Was she a horrible person? No.. she had helped him in the elevator, he even bought her drinks and then stayed over to make her feel safer. She had offered, but he turned her down and lied to her. Why?
Marley knew why. It was because she was blind. He was one of those who felt that he'd be taking advantage of her. After a few moments, she typed a simple question, hoping that she had gotten it wrong.knotsbegone: He lied to me? A tear slid down Marley's face. Josh was the one person she actually thought she had a connection with. She was so comfortable around him. Obviously it was all a lie to him. No wonder he hadn't called her back. She always thought he was just busy, but now she knew different.knotsbegone: I can't believe I misjudged him that badly. I am such a dolt. She didn't want to think about it anymore, so she changed the subject.knotsbegone: Enough about Josh... When would you like to get together? I would love to have some actual conversation. I almost think the closest thing a human voice I have at home is on my iPhone.
