Karis stood outside the chapel, but she hadn't gone in yet. She had been matched again and she was terrified. After her last husband Trevor beat her, everyone thought she wouldn't dive in so quickly because the physcial bruises on her body and the emotional bruises on her heart hadn't healed, but she didn't want to give up. She may appear a total sex manic but she still believed in love and wanted to find that. Her bruises luckily didn't effect her modelling career thanks to the magic of make-up and computer editing, so she got to keep her job, at least that was one thing she hadn't lost. She closed her eyes to try and calm herself down. She didn't want a repeat of what happened, it was horrific what happened, she still woke up in tears when she dreamt about it sometimes. "what am I doing?" she mumbled to herself. She had spent all morning getting ready. She chose a white dress she had in her wardrobe, got her white shoes she had never worn out, done her own hair and make up, including a lot of concealer, which she used to try and cover her bruises, but they were still pretty visable, as she didn't want to put loads on and make herself look cakey. She also ran to the florist to get a boquet of flowers, after all that, why should she run now? Karis wasn't the one for wasting time and if she ran then, she would have wasted her time. She sighed, she had to do this now, she agreed to re-sign up to The Vow again, so she had to do it, besides she felt like a complete idiot standing outside the chapel, panicking, she must have looked weird to any passersby. She took a deep breath and put a smile on her face. She gripped the flowers in her hands "lucky number three" she said as she walked in though the chapel doors towards her new life.

So, this was the big day. To many young women out there in the world, this was a sad day that should be treated with the appropriate grieving processes. Conlan Harper was officially off of the market as soon as the ‘I Do’s’ were made. He was about to make one very lucky girl, very happy. He wondered briefly if the girl was one of his several admirers from the town and if she wasn’t, she would be soon. Because, really, who could resist this adorable face and ridiculously hot bod? He wouldn’t be surprised if women all over Evergreen decided to stay in today. They were probably laying around in their pajamas, curled up in a ball on the sofa with a bucket of ice cream, watching the Notebook, and crying their pretty little eyes out because they know that not only can Ryan Gosling not match up to Conlan’s stunning looks and impeccable charm, but that they had a better chance of getting it on with Ryan Gosling than they did with Conlan Harper now. Well, all hope was not loss. Have no fear, ladies (and men…you know who you are), Conlan wasn’t going anywhere. He’d still be lurking around Evergreen and going about his business for all to admire from afar. Conlan, being the kind of man he was, was late to his own wedding. He marched to the beat of his own drum and was only on time when the threat of an angry judge hung heavy over his head. He rolled up in his overly showy sports car, blasting one of the top pop songs, with the top down just as a woman he didn’t take notice of headed into the church. Conlan parked in front of the church, ignoring the fact that there was a parking lot just around the corner. He shut the engine off, stowed his sunglasses away, and exited the vehicle nonchalantly. Conlan walked into the church, ignoring his surroundings and took his place at the altar. All right, let’s do this! He thought to himself. He was anxious to see who his wife would be and excited to see what marriage life would be like. He would be married, so that pretty much meant he’d have some babe on call for whenever he was hot and ready to go, right? Conlan straightened up when he laid eyes on his smoking hot bride. He breathed a sigh of relief that he didn’t get some weird looking girl that he’s have to live with. He was an attractive man who deserved an attractive piece of eye candy on his arm. His lips drew together and the corner of his mouth tugged upward into a smirk. If this was who he was supposed to spend the rest of his life with, then so be it. “ Hello, darling.” He greeted his bride and offered his arm for her to take before they walked the rest of the way to the altar. As she came closer, he noticed the faint markings on her skin. Were those bruises? His smile faltered, wondering what could have happened. He wondered if she was some kind of junkie and that was where they came from, but that was something he could deal with later.

When Karis set eyes on her new groom, she was very surprised, he was gorgeous! By far the best looking husband she has ever had. It relaxed her a little and a smile grew on her face. She saw the smirk on his face and it made her feel better, hoping he was happy with her. Nothing could be worse than being treated badly again. He looked very smart in his suit, it also gave her an idea that he might have quite a bit of money. She had quite a bit of money from her modelling, but she also got money off her ex Trevor which made her pretty happy, as she had expensive taste.
He offered Karis his arm and called her darling, that instantly made her think of him as charming"hello honey" she grinned at him as she took his arm. He walked her the rest of the way up to the alter ahead of them. She began to admire his face, but then she saw that gorgeous face frown which made her panick. She thought of her bruises, what if he could see them? She looked away from him a little bit with a face full of panic, she was pretty sure she'd have to explain sometime. Maybe he'd understand? It wasn't her fault Trevor beat her, it was him being a raving loony.
They reached the alter and she turned to look at him again to see his reaction to what she was about to do next, she moved herself from his arm and slid her hand down to hold his. She was only trying to do what she thought she should be doing, not trying to scare him away or anything. She looked ahead of herself to see the priest standing there. He was pretty old, with whispy white hair, deep set wrinkles but a nice, gentle smile on his face. She took a deep breath and looked back up to her groom feeling pretty chuffed that she was supposed to spend her life with him, she just hoped his personality was a good match for hers.

Conlan really wasn’t paying much attention to what was going on in the ceremony. All weddings were pretty much the same, anyways, right? There was a bride and a groom, an officiator, at least one witness, and if Conlan was lucky, a trail of hot bridesmaids. Naturally, he wouldn’t get his pick of bridesmaids this time, but he did get the first shot with the bride and this time it was his own! Basically, it was like Christmas. He was getting what he always asked for and there wasn’t much effort involved. He had signed himself up with a company and asked for a bride, and boy did they deliver!
The officiator was saying some words that Conlan was sure he was supposed to pay attention to and treasure for all time, but he just couldn’t find himself caring about what the man was saying. Why couldn’t the two parties sign on the dotted line and then make it official in the bedroom? That would be his ideal wedding, if he had a say in the matter. None of it mattered, though. They were already at the altar and there was no turning back now. Conlan shot the officiator an impatient look. He had a marriage to consummate. That is, if the bride wanted to, but then again…this was Conlan we were talking about and his new wife was the epitome of sexy. People as beautiful and fabulous as the two of them really shouldn’t have a problem getting it on.
Conlan snuck glances at his drop dead gorgeous wife. He noticed her dangerously long legs and those lips, how he wished he could taste those precious lips now. Conlan was surprised when she slipped her hand into his. He never did get into all of that cute couple-y shit that a lot of people did. His relations were strictly business. Get in, get it on, get out. Cuddling, hand holding, and soft kisses just weren’t his style. Still, it was a nice surprise to feel her smooth skin against his and he grinned. Conlan even went as far as to give her hand a little squeeze. He was going to be half of a couple now, after all, he better get used to all of this cute couple-y shit.

Karis's nervousness had began to fade lightly, especially when she noticed that he seemed pretty happy, she hoped it was because she was his match. He did look at her pretty happily, she was sure it must be. Confidence and relief washed over to her. As the officator began to do the introduction and get into Conlan's lines, she couldn't help but admire him. He was by far the most gorgeous man she has ever set her eyes on, he could be a model. She began to wonder if he was, like her.
She giggled lightly when she caught the impatient look he shot, he felt the same way she did. She just wanted to get him alone and get to know him. She knew sex might be on the cards, but she was a bit wary. She didn't want him to hurt her, she didn't want to uncover her bruises, he might be disgusted. She did have a smoking hot body, she wasn't going to lie, that was what the camera loved so much, but she was pretty nervous about getting it out, because of the bruising and the abuse from her ex husband had affected her badly. She finches everytime someone moved their hands, which is why she done her own hair and make-up for the wedding because she knew if someone else done it, she'd end up flinching at their every move. Oh how she hoped he would understand.
She caught him sneaking a few looks at her and when she turned to look at him too, she gave him a wink, properly making her appear more confident than she was. When she held his hand, it wasn't exactly to be a cutesy couple thing, it was just because she thought it was the right thing to do and she didn't want to look like they didn't want to touch each other, so she made a move. He gave her hand a squeeze and it made her smile. She then got distracted when the official cleared his throat, trying to get Conlan's attention to say his lines, which made Karis giggle, he was too interested in her and it made her feel fantastic!

It wasn’t that Conlan had ever come across a woman with too much emotional baggage for his own good, because he had. It wasn’t on purpose, though, and he dealt with the situation on a case-by-case scenario. Usually, if the emotional baggage was something the woman simply could not let go long enough for her to have a good time with Conlan, Conlan would offer her coffee, a few words of wisdom, and send her on her merry way thinking he had done her a favor before she realized that he was just being the asshole he knew how to be. It was probably going to be different if his wife was the one with the baggage, though. He’d have to make at least some kind of effort with her.
Conlan caught her wink and it earned her one of his heart melting smiles. The way his deep blue eyes twinkled when he smiled and a hint of dimples appeared on his cheeks was enough to make some of the ladies swoon. Then again, several things he did in life were enough to make the ladies swoon. Let’s be real, Conlan was one charming little bugger. He was drop dead sexy, he had a great body, he was successful, and he was an asshole. What part of that didn’t appeal to the ladies? Not a damn thing.
Conlan looked at the officiator, confused as to why no one was saying anything. When it became clear that Conlan was supposed to say something, he blinked in return. “Come again?” He asked the officiator. He clearly hadn’t been paying attention, but really how could he with such a beautiful woman standing next to him? The officiator recited the lines and he nodded. “Oh, right. I do.” He said, saying perhaps the most important lines in the entire ceremony.

Karis didn't want to put her horrible experience on him, she didn't want him to have to listen to it, so if she could, she would actually hide it away, but she had become very jumpy since it happened and she wasn't very good at hiding her bruises very well, she was expecting questions and as her new husband, she thought he deserved answers. The marriage could even go very well if they communicated well and both were very honest. She was also trying to get rid of her fear and just loosen up again. She wanted to be the sexy, confident, fun Karis again and hopefully if Conlan was nice and she could trust him, she'd calm down.
After she winked at him, she got a gorgeous smile in return, it made her feel a little safer already, but she knew not to trust someone just because of their smile, Trevor gave her a gorgeous smile and look where she ended up then. She decided to take it slower and just see what was going to happen. The dimple made her heart swoon, it was so sweet, but she told herself off in her head, take it slow, get to know him!
She learned his name was Conlan because the officiator said his name for his vows. She let out a little giggle when Conlan asked the annoyed looking officiator to repeat what he had to say. He was pretty funny and he seemed like a bad boy, hopefully not Trevor Arnold type bad boy however... The officiator then turned to Karis, he looked like he wanted to hurry and get going. He then recited the lines that she now had to say, so she took a deep breath "I do" she looked at Conlan and smiled lightly, she really, really hoped she hadn't just got herself trapped in another abusive marriage, but she wasn't going to clump all men in the same group, she was going to get to know him "I now pronounce you man and wife" the officiator mumbled, then Karis looked back up at Conlan. She didn't know what should happen next. Kiss him or just follow his lead,

Conlan was fortunate enough not to have to experience any kind of real pain. He had never been heartbroken, he didn’t have to worry about money, and no one in his family suffered from any kind of horrendous disease. He didn’t know real pain and he didn’t really ever want to. He acknowledged that it existed in the world, though. As a prosecutor, he had to realize that there were people in this world that caused others pain and distress and it was his job that they paid for it. Conlan could be an asshole, but he knew exactly where the line laid. He walked that line sometimes, but he never once crossed it. He despised how disgusting some of the people were out there and it gave him great pleasure knowing he was the reason a lot of them were locked up.
Conlan couldn’t blame anyone for falling in love with his smile…it was downright adorable. In fact, everything about him was downright adorable mixed with a bit of badassery. He was the bifecta of boyish looks and bad boy appeal. He was strong, handsome, and successful. How could anyone NOT fall in love with this, really? One thing was for sure, though, no one would be able to love Conlan as much as Conlan loved Conlan.
Conlan still wasn’t really paying attention to the ceremony. He had said a couple of words and now it was the wife’s turn to. The officiator said her full name, but he didn’t really catch it. When it came to women, he was awful with names. It sounded like Karen or something, but he couldn’t be sure. When all was said and done and both parties had said their “I Do’s”, Conlan turned to his now wife. He grinned, knowing full well what came next. He wouldn’t pass up any opportunity for a little lip action and now it was even expected of him. Conlan grabbed her and pulled her close. His one arm snaked around her waist and the other more around her shoulder for support as he dipped her and kissed her with passion. Despite being in a chapel, he held nothing back.

Karis was trying to pay attention to whatever the officiator was saying, but she lost interest, she was too busy thinking things over and checking out her new husband. She kept worrying herself though and hoped and almost begged in her head he wasn't another Trevor, she would not be able to handle it. Right now, she was recovering and soon her spirit will be back it's normal loud self. She hoped Conlan liked what she was really like, she didn't to seem like too much, but that was the way she was, she liked it that way.
It was nearing the end of the ceremony and she was more than relieved, she could get him home and see what he was really like and relax her nerves when she sees that really he is a lovely, kind guy...well thats what she is hoping he is anyway. As long as he wasn't abusive, she was sure they'd get on fine. She actually wanted to tell the officiator to hurry up! She had to fight the urge to tap her foot.
Finally it was the end of the ceremony and before she had the time to think, he pulled her close to his body, feeling happy he didn't touch any of her bruises. He then put his arm around her weight, another hand on her shoulder before dipping her and kissing her with what felt pretty passionate. She was shocked at what he did but she kissed back, holding onto him, hoping not to fall. She couldn't help but smile into the kiss lightly, he seemed fun and nice, but that was first impressions, she would see what he was really like once she got him home and alone.

Conlan had never laid a hand on a woman that didn’t want him to. He was persistent in his efforts and often times that led to women giving into his needs, but he never once forced a woman to do something she didn’t agree to. He would never even consider beating a woman, unless it was kinky and she was into that kind of thing. He was into as much kinky fuckery as the next horny man, but he was also aware that it was outside of some people’s limits. He had other ways of letting off his steam. He let off steam in the courtroom and in the gym, but he didn’t take his anger out on women. If getting laid meant getting laid without bondage, then so be it. It was a sacrifice everyone had to make at some point or another.
Conlan dipped her in a kiss because it was overdramatic and unexpected. He worked well with the theatrics. He liked bringing attention to himself in ways that might make people gasp or have their jaws on the ground. It was never a dull moment with Conlan Harper around, that was for sure. Conlan noticed she wasn’t a bad kisser. Hopefully her skills in the bedroom matched up because, let’s face it, under all of this charm…Conlan was shallow. Shocking, I know.
Conlan never really understood the concept of marriage. His father was a slimey man who slept with women that were his age and his mother was fucking the pool boy. They were two people who were not in love, but together out of obligation and greed. He never had an image of a good marriage, but he knew he needed to settle down at some point and signing up for this silly little program seemed to make things easier for him. At this moment, though, he was overjoyed to be married to this beautiful woman. He straightened her out and put his arm around her waist in case she was dizzy. “Well, Mrs. Harper, shall we?” He asked, gesturing the way down the aisle. Conlan Harper, a married man. Who would have ever thought?

Karis was a good kisser, because she has had many experiences with kissing and her skills improve everytime, so she was kissing Conlan with her 'magic lips' as one of her old male model friends used to call them. She lightly smiled into the kiss at that thought, but then her mind went onto how much of a good kisser Conlan was too, she might have met her match. She still couldn't believe about how he dipped her in the kiss, it was lightly overdramatic and it seemed something that would be seen in a play, but still she still enjoyed the kiss very, very much.
Karis's mind actually flickered to the idea of sex, she was shocked she could even think about it after Trevor, but Conlan's kiss was amazing and it made her wonder what else he could do. Two of her boxes that she was going to bring to their new place was full of loads of different lingerie and sex toys. Yeah, she enjoyed kinky fuckery, but to a point and getting hurt during sex wasn't top on her list right now, after recent events. She did also have some bondage tape, which she actually wore during a photoshoot or a mens magazine, so she had plently of that to spare, but first she wanted to gain her confidence back and maybe, if Conlan would to help her confidence and trust, is to have just some plain vanillia sex first, to go slow and give her a little bit of time.
Once she was straightened out, she looked into his eyes and smirked lightly, that really was one hell of a kiss! She loved it! Hopefully there was more of them to come "we shall, Mr.Harper" she chuckled as she linked her arm around his and then the music started to play as they began to walk out.
