The night had been going on and on, time moving forward. Before anyone knew it, it was close to midnight. They had been conversing all night pratically, minus the early morning hours. When Ainsley gets comfortable being around someone, being a little bit of a chatter box is a slight issue that can arise. She just wants to keep going and going, until she passes out from not getting enough air in while talking. Okay, that was slightly exaggerated. She never really passed out from such a thing, but she was known for talking a little too much. It wears off though after awhile. It's just that initial 'I'm so comfortable with you I can talk to you forever' sort of thing. It's like an initiation ceremony. Once you get past that, no need to worry about the chatter boxing.
She watched as he had looked around the room. It seemed to her that in a way, it ended in puzzlement, but she could have been mistaking his notions. She then listened in closely as he talked to her. "I have a clown fish, ironic I know. I have to go get 'im sometime soon." she heard him say. Clown fish? Yes, it is pretty funny. A joker for the jokester. A Mr. Funny for another Mr. Funny. She never heard of someone having an exotic fish though, unless it was someone big and famous. Ainsley always heard of the typical goldfish in bowl type of thing, but this was unique. "I think that's actually pretty cool. Cooler than a goldfish." she said, smiling. Goldfish were too typical.
It was true, Ainsley herself was getting tired. It had been one heck of a day, and even though she hated to yawn at a time like this, she did. There were things to get done, and unpacking to do, but it just wasn't the time to do so at this point. It was late. She looked to Roxy, watching her sleep peacefully now after her sleep 'running' as Ainsley liked to call it. Ainsley slowly, but surely got up. By the time Ainsley had gotten up, Shaye had fallen back into the bed, back against the mattress, his legs and feet hanging off the edge of it. She listened as his soft sigh filled her ears sound wise. Her blue eyes met his as it seemed to her that he wanted her to follow along, though she couldn't be sure. Her hand conjoined with his as she laid down beside him on the bed, her legs and feet hanging off the edge as well. She slipped the black flip flops off her feet using only her toes. Magically, yes. Ainsley is just that magical. Her eyes met his, a feel of romance and passion within the moment as her hand was brought to his lips, lips brushing against the back of her hand. She moved in a little closer to him, smile curling up among her lips as she brushed her hand gently across his face, before moving in closer to kiss him, but this time longer than a simple second long kiss. Something more passion, something that would last longer, and something much more memorable.
This was going to be one night to remember.
