Hey, so yeah...I"m new on this site and I like it already, but why I"m here in this board is because I could really use some recommendations for new music! I'm pretty into Ska, so if you've got any ska bands you'd recommend, great! If not, I'm willing to try and broaden those horizons!

Ska is FTW, especially Reel Big Fish. I dunno if you're into Country or not, but I suggest Emerson Drive and Garth Brooks. As for other ideas, Breaking Benjamin, Staind, Godsmack, I have a variety of music I listen to so I have quite the collection.


Barenaked Ladies would be an excellent place to start.

I just got Fame, Fortune and Fornication - LOVE the Brown Eyed Girl cover. I've seen RBF twice, can't wait to see them a 3rd time on WArped.

What other ska are you into?

I have their entire discography. Haha, I also LOVE No Doubt. That's all I really, absolutely like. Otherwise it's really just a song here and there.

I mean yeah - Fame, Fortune and Fornication rounded out their discography for me, though I am pretty sure that Cheer Up is still my favorite album by them. I love No Doubt, but even better than that - have you listened to STreetlight Manifesto or Big D & the Kids Table?
