What will I do today? Josh thought to himself. He was sitting around the apartment. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do. Pick up a girl, go clubbing, or hang out with Mac. Oh Yeah, he forgot his best friend lived in the same town as he does now! Holy shit! That's perfect. He could drop by, they could go out for a drink, and maybe even pick up two chicks and have a fun night. Not together though. Ugh, that's a weird thought. So he shook it from his brain. He debated whether he should call first.. Nah. He earned the right to pop up uninvited. Yeah, that was his best bud.
He got in his car. Turned on some loud music and made his way to Mac's house. Maybe his wife'll be there and he can see how she looks. She might look good for all her knows. Or maybe not. He could've married a fucking cow. Ew. He thought to himself. He turned onto the street with his house on it. He parked in front and banged on the door.
"OPEN THE DAMN DOOR. IT'S THE POLICE!" He yelled, and continued to bang. He didn't realize how loud he was. And even if he did, he wouldn't care. He's here to see a friend he hasn't see since forever. Josh walked over to the window, to try and peer through and look inside. Hopefully his chick kept it clean. That's a woman's job anyway. Keep the house clean, while Mac's supposed to bring home all the money.
He smiled. Mac had to be home. He hoped he wasn't ignoring him, because he'd beat him up for that later. And the bar probably wouldn't start the real party until later. When the football game was on. The bar might even have a sexy bartender there to flirt with. And Mac can be his wing man. If only he'd open up the damn door.

Mac didn’t want to work today so he decided that he was going to stay home while Quinn was out getting parts for his car. He actually was having a nice little nap on the couch when some jackass started banging on his door and scared the shit out of him effectively causing him to tumble off the couch and smack his head on the coffee table. “Sonofa..” he was about to yank the door open and punch whoever it was until he heard the guy say it was the police. But the voice was off a little, he sounded familiar. He peeked out the window and sighed when he saw it was Josh. “Damn it.” Why couldn’t he have just taken a nap in his bedroom, then he wouldn’t have heard any banging and he would still be asleep ignoring the man standing outside his door. How’d he get his address? That was a good fucking question.
He opened the door and just stared at him. “What the fuck are you doing here man?” he hadn’t seen or talked to Josh since he made that stupid ass bet that landed him signed up to the fucking vow and ultimately being ditched. He wanted to slam the door in his face but it was in some ways kind of nice to see his friend. Even thought he was an ass most of the time and it was really difficult to not want to hit him, especially now that he was married and actually happy that he was, he could see how much of a dick he really used to be and it just wasn’t the kind of guy he wanted to be.
“Last time I saw you were in L.A. Decided to give the ol vow a try? I feel for whoever you get man, really I do.” He moved from the door, Josh would work his way in he was sure anyway so might as well let him in nicely. He really hoped that Quinn didn't come home before he could diffuse this and get rid of Josh. They were two people he didn’t want to end up being in the same room together. Mainly because Josh could say things that might cause her to hate him. He didn’t want to have Quinn think that he was still like that. Not anymore, he loved that woman. He walked into the kitchen and pulled out a couple of beers. “Here.” He handed one to Josh and then moved into the living room and sat on the couch.

He smiled when he realized his friend was about to open the door. He looked a little sleepy, and pissed off. But, Josh could care less. Mac was like his brother and he had the right to bother him at his home.“Damn it.” Josh laughed. "Nice to know you're happy to see me." Mac always knew how to make him feel welcome.
“What the fuck are you doing here man?” Josh smiled. "Well, the club is open and i'm not drunk yet. So I want a sexy chick on my arm and I want my bestfriend to not go home empty handed too." Josh stood there, waiting for Mac to just say 'sure man, let me get my changed' But instead he says something different. “Last time I saw you were in L.A. Decided to give the ol vow a try? I feel for whoever you get man, really I do.”
Josh decided to ignore the last part of what he said for lack of argument or offence. "" Yeah, it has been awhile since we talked man. You know, since you lost that bet." Josh smirked, thinking about what happened after Mac packed up and went for Evergreen. Josh went and talked to the girl behind Mac's back, but she ended up being a total slut, and Josh decided she wasn't worth his time. Just like every other girl he ever slept with. Mac probably wouldn't care now, it happened awhile ago. But Josh would wait until Mac was drunk to tell him, just in case he did end up being angry. "And fuck no man. My father realized I hate how his voice sounds so he kept talking my ear off about joining this damn place. And It's been hell." Josh said leaning on the door frame.
He was matched within days of moving to Ever Green and he really didn't like it. He actually wasn't looking forward to being married soon. He wasn't going to worry about it either. It wasn't the first thing on his mind right now. He wanted to get a blonde bimbo in his room, and Mac was gonna come with him to a club to scope one out. He stood up straight and walked in when Mac moved. He took the beer, and made his way to sit down. "You know they have beers at the club. Along with a ton of girls." He said gulping the beer.

Mac wasn’t really sure how he felt right now. Josh was a representation of the kind of man that he used to be. He didn’t like how he was right now. He didn’t like that he used to be like him. Not now. Not now that he had Quinn. The only woman for him. He shook his head and drank his beer. “There is more to life then loose women Josh.” Was all he said as he sat back. “I’m sorry I don’t keep any strippers in the closet but a beer at home is just as good as a beer at a noisy club.” He shrugged. Maybe he was just getting too old for the bullshit. He was tired of hitting on drunk women and it was probably another reason that being married to Quinn felt so right. “That bet…damn bet. You suck you know that? Did you hit that after I left? I’m sure you tried at least.” He laughed. It was easy to laugh about it now.
“I’m married now man. I’m not interested in a ‘sexy chick’. I have a sexy chick.” He thought about Quinn and how mad she would be if he went out with his friend. He didn’t really want to go but Josh wasn’t the type to hear no. Mac was just a homebody now. Yeah he was getting old. “Plus she’d kick my ass if I went out with you dude. I don’t need a pissed off wife.” He laughed. He was sure that Josh would give him shit for how he was being but he wasn’t ashamed to be in love with his wife and happily married. He shifted on the couch. “So you still doing what daddy wants these days? I thought that you were you know..your own man.” He took another drink of his beer before grabbing his phone and checking for a text. No text. Damn woman. He flashed her with and set his phone down with a grin.
“So you are here, against your will and being forced to marry a stranger and you are pissed about that. Hmm..sorry no sympathy from me man.” He smirked. That was exactly how he was when he first got here, and his pissed off attitude got him to Vegas and that got him Quinn but it also got some kids ass kicked for no good reason. Damn woman was making him soft. Not that he seemed to mind really. Just wasn’t the same guy anymore. He wasn’t ever going to be that guy again and now that Josh was in town he was either going to lose a friendship or he was going to find himself in a sticky situation. At this point he wasn’t sure Josh was worth his wife hating him one day for something stupid.
“But really I can’t go out with you man. You can chill here if you want but I’m staying here.” He saw his phone buzz and picked it up to laugh. She was the best. He responded and put it back down. “What if you don’t get married? How will your pops know?” he hoped that he didn’t marry someone cause he was sure that Josh would ruin the poor girl, whoever she may be.

Josh couldn't help but laugh hysterically at Mac. "More to life than loose women? Mac I think that ring on your finger is magically turning your dick into a fucking vagina man. " Josh said. He wasn't going to hold back for his thoughts. At least not for his friend. "The difference between having a beer in your house, and one at the club, is that there isn't a sexy chick with her ass in my face at your house. Unless your volunteering your wife for the job, we need to get to the Vibe before all the drunk ones get taken too early." Josh talked about women like they were a discount item at the bargain bin. He felt like a kid in a candy store at a club where the women wanted to go home with a random man. As long as there were no diseases, Josh would continue this lifestyle until the day he dies.
He took another swig of his beer, looking at Mac with a skeptical eye as he spoke. Josh shook his head. "Yeah we had sex. But she was a slut so that didn't last too long." he smiled. He tried to pretend it didn't just slip out of his mouth. Maybe Mac didn't notice, but any guy would take that piece of ass.
Josh playfully pretended to clean the wax from his ears. "Last time I checked, the Mac I knew wouldn't let a woman kick his ass. Who cares about what she wants? I know we can find someone to fill her place. Or maybe she'll be into a little three person fun. You never know until you bring a girl home and offer." Josh drank the last of his beer. Now he needed something stronger and a girl to take back to her place, and have some fun with.
Josh got a bit angry when Mac implied Josh was being obidient to his father. Whatever. He'd let everything Mac said go, if he just came to the club with him. “What if you don’t get married? How will your pops know?” "Well, I don't know. It's already done and it's not gonna stop me from going to a club tonight and having sex with a blonde. So c'mon and stop being a soft bitch!" Josh said playing around. He stood up. "And if you wife gets mad tell her it was my bachelor party and I asked you to come." He hoped Mac would stop being a girl and just go with him already.

Mac sighed and shook his head. The one thing he knew for sure was that Josh would continue to pester him until he went. He felt like it was the middle of the damn afternoon and he wanted to pick up 'drunk' chicks? Quinns last text made him laugh out loud and helped him to stand up and go into the bedroom. "Fine. I'll be your wingman." he said as he walked down the hall and started getting dressed. If he was going to mess with Josh then he needed to look his best for his wife.
He sent her a quick text as he was finishing up and put his phone in his pants pocket. He came out and stood in the hallway, in front of the front door. "Look man, while I'm your wingman, I have no intention of taking the left overs....unless she was unbelievably hot." he grinned and opened the door. "I do hope you realize that its like four o'clock in the afternoon. There will be like no one there right now." he shook his head. This was going to be beyond boring.
"There is more to life then loose women..and trust me, my dick is still in working order and has not in fact turned into a vagina. I just don't think there is a woman in Evergreen that is finer than my wife. You don't know how hot my wife is man...like...hoooooooooooot.." he smiles thinking about his wife. He missed her, she'd been gone too long and he really just wanted to see her. Fuck her too of course but really just see her. That'd make him happy.
"Oh! And I knew she was a slut dude, I thought you did too and really isn't that the kind of women you like? Slutty women." he laughed as he walked out and locked the door behind them and he headed for his car. "Meet you there?" he looked back at him before he got into his car.
(did you want to just have your reply start a new thread at the vibe? Or did you want to reply here first. Either way, Quinn needs to be tagged into it :)
