Paige smiled up at him "It's a precaution apparently, if baby wants to come out early then baby comes out early." She hadn't managed to phone her mom about how quickly she'd arrived as a baby or how quickly Story had arrived. That reminded her "Oh babe," Paige said quickly "Would you mind awfully calling Story and letting her know that I'm in labour? She'll tell mom and dad and I'd just like to keep them all updated." She was still subconsciously holding onto Wesley's hand like she always did. "Paige and Story huh?" the nurse with them smiled slightly.

Paige nodded a little "Yeah, my mom and dad are writers." she explained "If you knew them, you'd get the joke." she smiled a little as the nurse wheeled her into a room. The nurse helped Paige get on the bed, her contractions were getting closer and closer together and still Paige kept smiling. "Well mom, I'll come back and check on you in an hour or so. See if we're any further along." said the nurse after pronouncing that Paige was only 4 centimeters dialated. Paige remembered that she had to be at least ten centimeters before the pushing.

Paige was pretty excited, all her first graders had been interested when Paige announced that she was going to have a baby although Paige had narrowly avoided questions of how babies were made. That would be left to parents when they were ready for their children to learn exactly how babies were made and when they were older. Who would tell like a five or six year old about sex anyway? The thought of them having sex with a person of the opposite gender would be repulsive to them especially as they thought cooties actually existed at that tender age.
