We sit in the stands, stand in the bars, lay on our couches, debate back and forth, forecasting Barry Bonds' next destination.
Bonds himself has no idea where he will be playing next season if anywhere, although his preference is to be close to his Los Angeles home with a spring training site in Arizona.
I'll leave all that speculation to the reporters and media people.
To Bonds this makes no sense to him. He had hoped to tell the San Francisco Giants when he was leaving, not the other way around. He's not ready but has no choice.
Even CBS Sports reports Barry Bonds is just a tad bitter about his departure from the San Francisco Giants. Bonds told a group of about 450 people recently, "I got fired," plain and simple he said.
The way I'm hearing things is that Bonds still has no prospects for next year nor has anyone contacted him with any serious offers. Has Barry Bonds played his last baseball or will someone pick him up and if so who and will it be for alot less than what Bonds will want?
