Coach Rod is currently sitting at #9, but after I threw him my vote I saw Coach Leavitt in 4th or 5th behind the likes of Bob Stoops and other non-deserving candidates. I think we should all throw the USF coach some votes and show our Big East Coach some love. I know everyone wants to vote for their own coach, but at this point in the season you have to give credit where credit is due. This coach built a program from the ground up, and in just 11 years has not only put them in a BCS conference, but is beating top 25 teams and has his team in line for a January bowl. If Schiano won this award last year for revitalizing an ancient team with no success in the past, Leavitt should definetly win this award for his success, with no past.
