Ever since I read the Bioshock article in the March issue of Gameinformer, I've felt nothing but giddyness and sweatyness at this games levels of bad-assery.


( seen here is a Protector or "big daddy". the most dangerous foe in the game and the proprietor of a severe ass-kicking.)

The game is set in Rapture. A once beautiful under-water utopian society that was ruined by a chemical named adam.

I can't help but love the setting and atmosphere. but the thing that gets me really hot is the RPG system that doesn't have any of that your-strength-moves-up-one-point-when-you-level-up dog fodder.

looks like another Doom ripoff.
