”Mortals,” Ly spoke, after several moments of observing the god, ”Mortal means nothing more to me than a status.”
As she listened to him, she smiled. She knew better than to argue the words of a God of Wisdom, but she found herself not even disagreeing, for once. This was possibly the first god she had met that she hadn’t almost immediately launched into an argument with.

She thought for a while and then she laughed.
”I do not disagree with you at that, Khephra,” she said, nodding slowly, ”But one such as myself can only hope that they do not find out about their power too soon… for I’d hate to be bested.”
Smiling again, she added, ”But… these people are so god-fearing… as you can tell from that merchant that had decided to annoy me before. I doubt that they would be willing to take advantage of their… power… so to speak.”
The thought of not being more powerful than a ‘simple’ mortal disturbed her slightly, but she did not let it show, and shook it off, reminding herself that their power was only different to hers, that did not necessarily mean it was greater than hers…
Chuckling at her moment’s foolishness, she heard his last two comments. She looked at him, as if she was determining whether or not she could trust him and then nodded.
”We could always go to my temple if you wanted to,” she offered, reaching out her hand slighlty, ”I could teleport us there. Much easier than walking.”
