my mind is so tired
i have been wondering around 4 lifetimes, searching 4 something like it to connect with
drudging through whtie sands and black hands
droping promises once true on jagged rocks beneath cliffs
and my mind is so tired, so the rest of me follows
but i'm supposed to be kissed on my neck
and caressed so softly on my back
instead i carry this burden in my head because my eyes cant find what my mind longs for
and my mind is so tired
so can you furnish a place 4 my weary thoughts 2 rest?
can u stimulate my soul?
let your sweet ideas drip through my being
and refresh my spirit

as they slide down the sides of my heart
like an icy glass on a 90* 20th day of august
hot
like the sands my mind is still searching through
