Title: prototype of a love poem

I can breathe you
I can drink in your laugh
I can live on your smile
I can trip and if I fall into your arms
I can stay there my whole life.
I can stare
I can memorize your face
Your hair
Your hands
I can speak to you so honestly I cant even run any game
And I know you found all this out in one of those intimate moments
When the laugh lines in my palms spelled it out for you
Your read my future
But now I've said it
And we both can be comfortable because its not unspoken.

Your kisses linger on my lips
Dancing so softly
Teasing me til' the next time we meet
And I love recalling the taste
So I dont miss you too much
And what we do is not black and white
So my tears fall into puddles of grey
But thats ok because you are my favorite color
And you are the reason for my laugh lines
And you make my head hurt
And you make me feel good again
And you infuriate me
And you create a craving
For something no one can provide
For something still unsatisfied
For something I simply can't deny
Is in your eyes
And I fly
And I float beyond reason
To that realm where
Sense is not made
And we're not under anything
Just standing
On what we've got

Do you know that this was not supposed to be a love poem?
This was not to be a manifesto to your wonder
I was not intending to make you smile
But even thought I dont like you right now
All I can seem to write is that you are my love
And all the bad things that matter have converted to energy
And I used that to write this
I love you
I mean...I'm mad at you.

You know, I hated love poems about 2 years ago, then this "person" made me write ONLY of them, and yes, I hate him for that!! -Loved it!
