Sirius Black- Taken It is the last year at Hogwarts, and true to form Sirius is not about to let it slip away from him without a fight. Deep down inside Sirius is only too aware that at the end of this year he is going to have to face his family once again and will no doubt become penniless. Regulus is also starting to become a problem in Sirius’s life, Padfoot still sees a reflection of his younger self in his brother and for a while gets the idea into his head that perhaps he isn’t the only Black who isn’t on the dark side. But naturally Regulus crushes that rumour and consequently Sirius’s hope to ever be re-united with any of his family. But Sirius was never one to dwell upon the things that he could not have and he is back, causing mischief within a week and this time the mischief has moved up a notch, after all, they’ve got nothing to loose now have they? Accept a reputation perhaps… James Potter-Taken James is on the quest of a lifetime. Last year, James and Lily were a couple, though there relationship was rather turbulent at times, they still managed to pull it off. But now it looks like James has jumped from the frying pan into the fire. When he was single, James had nothing else to worry about but himself, now he is suddenly discovering that everything in life has a consequence and not just him, but those around him. Will Lily put up with James’s daredevil antics and thoughtless pranking? Or will she see him in the same light that she did before and cast him aside? Remus Lupin-Taken Remus has got a problem. Aside from his ‘furry’ one. Yet another difficulty has cropped up in his life. Love. Remus and Carrie Stevenson are officially over and have gone their separate ways, leaving Remus an unwilling single. Sirius and James, now seemingly settling down with their long term girlfriends, have dangerous glints in their eyes which suggest that perhaps by the time the year is out Moony might find himself subjects to horrible tortures such as blind and speed dating. Suddenly he wishes he never told them… Of course on top of the emotional turmoil Remus has even more to worry about this year. Exams. The NEWTs are coming up fast and Rem is more than aware that there is no way he is ever going to get enough studying in. Especially is Sirius, James and Peter will insist and dragging him out to their variety of new pranks and practical jokes. As Remus would say, his life is just about to become “ridiculous.” Peter Pettigrew Peter is starting to panic. His shielded life that he has led behind his three friends is slowly coming to a close and he is more than aware that soon he is going to be thrust out into the real world. In short, he’s terrified. But Peter is confident that his friends will stick it out with him and if he doesn’t try to think about it, it might never happen… But before the real world comes knocking on Peter’s door he will continue to do the same that he has always done. Eat, laugh with his friends, study a bit, eat again, blush when a girl looks at him, eat some more and then maybe would eat something to finish off… Severus Snape- TAKEN Snape is having second thoughts about his priorities. He used to be obsessed with doing well in school and that was all that his life was about, but now he is finally waking up to the world around him and realising that getting good grades isn’t everything. On the other hand Severus is slowly coming round to the realisation that this is his last year at Hogwarts, and consequently his last opportunity to ruin the marauder’s lives. Now he is trying harder than ever to sabotage their chances of leading happy lives, but this time its serious and the pranks are getting more an more dangerous… Kingsly Shacklebolt - TAKEN Kingsly is in his seventh year at Hogwarts and things look brighter for him than ever. He’s good looking, more muscular than any other student in the entire school, talented and he’s not stupid either. Kingsly is one of the marauders’ best friends though he has a slightly different relationship with each of them. He gets on best with Remus, as they are both quiet people who are willing to watch others, but underneath have a wicked sense of humour. Sirius and James both like kingsly but are a little intimidated by him since he is built like a brick wall. Peter is simply terrified of Kingsly and tends to run away at the sight of him. This year Kingsly’s life is only just beginning, he’s tipped to be the hottest auror off the press this centuary and he isn’t going to disappoint. Consequently lots more training and studying to be done. Although he’s under demand from the girls Kingsly just doesn’t have time for romance, though he did have a thing Lily once upon a time… Sturgis Podmore Sturgis is a good looking lad, and he knows it. In this way Sturgis is a lot like James but less mature, though the two do get on very well. Sturgis is a boy who has never had to worry about exams, hence his being in Ravenclaw. Though he’s not as smart as James, Sirius or Remus but he’s a close fourth and this year is no different to any other for him, lessons being a breeze. However Sturgis is about to get a short sharp shock when he finds that this year…he can’t get a girlfriend! He’s never had a problem before and suddenly paranoia begins to plague the once confident young man. But with a little help from the number one male match making team, the marauders, he’s back on track, and considerably more down to earth in the end. Edgar Bones- TAKEN Edgar is a creative genius, his machines are amazing and work like a charm. His career is already in the bag, having already patented over seven inventions. But Edgar is lonely. He is friends with Dorcas Meadows, but since Edgar is a hufflepuff they don’t see as much of each other as being best friends with someone really requires. It’s not like Edgar is unpopular in hufflepuff, more that he never really clicked with anyone there…Will someone brighten Edgar’s last year or will he be left with an empty space of all the things that he could have had at Hogwarts? Caradoc Dearborn Caradoc is a sports player and he is very good at what he does. He is a beater for the hufflepuff Quidditch team and Sirius’s main rival in almost everything. However Caradoc is almost the exact opposite of what one might expect from a typical hufflepuff. Caradoc is a hard guy, he won’t put up with anyone pushing his friends around and he is more than happy to hex someone into next year for the smallest reason. His temper is fiery but in the worst possible way, he does not yell or even go red, he just hexes you quietly, but with something fantastically horrible. Most Slytherins are scared of him and the ones that aren’t steer well clear. But inside Caradoc isn’t a bad guy and has a kind side to him. He is always looking out for people who are not as popular as him and tries to help them, even if he isn’t very subtle about them. Secretly Caradoc is tired of playing the hard man and now that he is more mature he wants to just be himself, but he fears the mocking laughter of the Slytherins when he begins to show his softer side. What he needs is a girl to help him out with all of his internal turmoil. But can he find the right one? Dedalous Diggle Dedalous is a boy who makes everyone smile, he is a genuinely nice person and very perceptive to others emotions if someone is sat in the corner of the Gryffindor common room on their own it is almost guaranteed that Dedalous will be there to make them feel better. Dedalous is easily excitable and can’t sit still for a moment, he constantly has to be doing something or talking to someone. Unfortunately Dedalous’s hyperactive nature means he often forgets things and can therefore be a little unreliable, so never ask him to remember something for you! Dedalous is another one of the Hogwarts students who does not have to worry about a career, his father is quite high up in the ministry of magic, and Dedalous has been tipped to take his place in the spotlight for years. Jacques Delacour Jacques recently transferred from Durmstrang after an incident involving the Headmaster and a Death Eater. He is beginning his 7th year in a completely new school. He is handsome and foreign and has his eye on the half-veela, Kairi O. Summerset. Jacques is unsure of how to approach though. He can sometimes appear cocky and rather full of himself, but is overall one of the kindest guys that one could ever meet, but the horrors of his former school have left their scars on him. Will he be able to make it in this new school? Or will his reputation be ripped to shreds? Lily Evans-Taken Lily's love life is in turmoil. Secretly she is absolutely head over heels in love with James Potter, but on the other hand she worries that telling him make make him big headed again like he used to be. So, if Lily feels unable to express her affections how on earth is she meant to be able to pull off a realationship? On top of all of that there is always the exams coming up. Recently she and Remus have clubbed together to form a minature study group and often go off together in the evenings to the potions lab or the library. But James seems to be getting a little suspisious of the innocent outings and soon it looks like Lily might actually have to prove her innocence. Or will she bother? After all, if he can't trust her why should she be with him at all?... Emmeline Vance-Taken Emmy is extremely lucky. She has managed to snare the most popular guy in school, her grades are on the up, she's got masses of friends, what could possibly go wrong. One word, Sirius. Last year Sirius was the perfect gentleman toward his girlfriend and stayed with her almost the entire year, a fact that surprised almost everybody. However, recently paranoia has begun to nibble at Emmeline's perfect world, and that pretty blonde in hufflepuff who giggles every time Sirius walks past isn't helping. Is Sirius...cheating? It wouldn't be out of character, after all he loves women and he loves life but surely Emmy means more to him that that...? Doesn't she? Dorcas Meadows-Taken Dorcas is clever, practical, pretty in a tom-boy sort of way and is overall, a very talented witch, in fact so talented that in a few years time Voldemort will be forced to kill her personally. But until then Dorcas, or Cas as she's known by friends, will only be faced with much smaller problems. One of these being Remus Lupin. Remus and Cas have always been pretty goood mates, both of them interested in similar things, though Dorcas is more sporting than he is, they both have a similar sense of humour and are kind people at heart. Originally Remus was never a problem, but now that he's single Dorcas can't help but let her mind slip into the possibilities...Carrie would kill her...but it would be worth it...wouldn't it? However Cas has always had a spot for Remus. No it's not a crush but they have always been good friends. Remus's condition, constantly covered in those horrific, mysterious scars, often makes her very upset and though she is made of stern stuff she gets very worried about him and often mothers him, which is bad considering he has only just broken up with his girlfriend... Alecto Carrow Alecto Carrow is another of Bellatrix's gang of Slytherins. However she is a little bit different to the others. She is well...odd. Alecto is more twisted than her friends and in a horrifyingly creative sort of way. Pain and making people unhappy is her life's work and she orchestrates every single one of her projects personally and with huge amounts of care, like a painter with a masterpiece. She does not speak, but she doesn't need to. She emanates a feeling if darkness and unspoken horror. Not someone to be messed with. Hestia Jones Hestia is a genuine person. She smiles a lot and is confident in her own abilities. She's not the brightest bulb in the box but Hestia it doesn't really matter because when she walks in it is her personality and not her intellect that lights up the room. This year Hestia just wants to be the same as everybody else. Although she's smiling on the outside, inside she's crying, all of her friends are getting higher grades than her and have boyfriends. She has neither of these and it is starting to get to her. Is a wonderful personality enough to get her through life? Or will she be forced to take some drastic measures? Daeva Yaxley- TAKEN Daeva is a woman who knows what she wants and knows how to get it. Her determination and ambition is unsurpassed by any other girl in Slytherin, as is her temper. Consequently this makes her a formidable enemy. Best friend to Bellatrix Black, Daeva works in a different way to most other people in her aquaintance. She pretends to be nice, she pretends to be your friend and then, depending on your gender, she'll pretend to love you. And she can be very pursuasive. But naturally it is all for her own personal gain in the end. This year Daeva has her eyes on the ultimate prize. She's been talking to Snape. As if James and Lily's relationship needed any more problems... Bellatrix Black-Taken Bellatrix Black, the ring leader of the group of Slytherin 7th year girls. She is confident, fiesty has a firecracker temper and is not someone to be messed with. She has enough contacts to bring almost anyone down within seconds and if she can't bring you down with gossip she'll get you with one of her favourite hexes and be sure that'll work. The only person that Bella is a little wary of is her cousin, Sirius. She isn't scared of him, but she knows that he's made of similar stuff and consequently steers clear of him, jeering at him at any opertunity but never going further than that. This year she's involved, as are the other Slytherin girls, in a sinister and slowly growing plot for the Gryffindors orchestrated by a certain Severus Snape... Admin's Picks
Kingsly Shacklebolt - TAKEN So, why is Kingsly and admin's pick hmm? Well for quite a few reasons. One, because he's a character with a lot of depth, good fun to play and good fun to role play with. Secondly there is a lot of room for a really wicked sense of humour in Kingsly and there is real potential to slot him in to plenty of plot lines. Thirdly because there is a little bit of history there between him and Lily which automatically makes James a little nervous around him and you know James, he's not really nervous of anyone. Kingsly is an admin's pick because he's different and he's not a character that has ever been taken up on TMY before which means that there are endless possibilities and no-one for us to compare you to! Kingsly is my personal favourite out of the male admin's pick characters and I'd love to see him go to a good, professional role player some time soon! Dedalous Diggle The second admin's pick is Mr Dedalous Diggle. Dedalous is an admin's pick for one reason. There are simply not enough characters out there that are happy for the sake of being happy. In playing Dedalous there is that feeling of just loving life and every single minute of it, a bit like playing Sirius without the temper or the daredevil nature but with an injection of Remus's kind nature. What more could you really want in a character hmm? Dedalous is an admin's pick because he's something fresh and different and something that we could all use in our role plays, someone who is fun to be with, but understands that life isn't all blue skies and roses. No-one has ever played Dedalous before but I would love to see someone take up this sunbeam of a character. Sturgis Podmore Sturgis Podmore. If you want a long term character that is going to grow as you do well then, Sturgis is it. Sturgis is a real character part and there is unending amounts of fun to be had with this originally stuck up and self centered character. But what's best, is that he gets his just deserves! YOU can choose when you want to stop playing Sturgis as a premadonna and YOU can choose when he finally changes heart! Sturgis was chosen to be an admin's pick because with him you get the best of two worlds, you can be completely obnoxious for as long as you want, and then change to become a more acsessable character. It isn't many characters that can do this with such a slick transition as that of Mr Podmore. A fun character to play and one that will grow as you do. Daeva Yaxley - TAKEN Daeva is one of my personal favourite characters on the canon list, hence her status as an admin's pick. Why do I love her to pieces? Well, she's sucha fun character really, I mean she's determined, ambitious and sharp as a whip. No doubt with a wonderful wit to match. Playing Daeva would be great fun because she is the perfect stereotype of the unreadable female, women don't trust her and men don't have to. So, to recap, Daeva is an admin's pic for being plain facsinating. A really wicked sort of personality to play with. If you want a character to play that isn't evil but is just plain bad then Daeva is exactly that. -------------------- |
