Grace stood, crouched slightly, the booming falls at her back faded into a vague drumming.
In her right hand was a dagger, and her tail flicked as her mouth opened slightly and she sniffed the air. From the trees above leapt a winged fox, at the same time as a rat and a young, horned fox charged at her from the nearby undergrowth.
With a smooth movement, she slipped her dagger away, flipping Frost onto the ground and sidestepping both Faleal and Azure.
She ran quickly away, to the falls, and stopped a few feet from the water edge. She turned around in time to find both leaping for her, and she sidestepped Azure as the rat clung onto her knee.

As she got distracted trying to shake him off, a sleek, silver form leapt from the water behind her and she turned around to find him clinging to her stomach.
She let out a cry as Frost came back and clung to her face.
Now she couldn't see or smell.
She staggered around, battering away at Sralean and Frost, Azure and the three-tailed fox named Blaze each took a leg and bowled her over.
They all piled on top of her, including Arwiel who had stayed out until now, and Faleal changed into his fox self.
Grace let out a laugh, not able to stop, and after a few seconds, the foxes joined with their barks.
After a while, Grace told the foxes laughingly, "Please, get off, I can't breathe."
They obliged and they laughed a little bit longer, Grace squeezing her eyes shut as she held her ribs and intermittently let out groans of pain.

Soon they all subsided, and Grace jumped up.
"Bath time!"
They all groaned. Sralean, Azure and Faleal all liked the water but they were joking.
Grace laughed, winced as she stopped, then pushed them as well as she could, occasionally picking up one and throwing him/her in.
Soon only Azure was left, dashing around and giving Grace a hard time.
Grace suddenly stopped and ran to the edge of the water, diving into the deeper part of the pool.
Azure took a few moments to realize she had stopped chasing her, paused, then came in also.
They swam around, splashing water at each other and laughing more, Grace often almost submerging and drawing from not being able to swim because of laughing.
