Q: So, Who ARE you?!
A: Well. I am Lyra, simply put. I am the official owner and manager of this site, though the original creator was Kiwi Anime (simply called Kiwi). The whole idea of Han'sh, its lands and such are all copyrighted to her, as well as about half the plot. The rest of the plot is copyrighted to Middy (Midnight), Ami (Amikins) and I.
I love roleplaying, and I first joined this website in 2005 when I was invited by Kiwi. I can tell you, I was not so great back then and I had serious attitude problems. But, through a series of unfortunate events, Kiwi left the site, and having loved it for so long, I took up the head and I am trying my best to bring it back.
I'm working on books and I take trapeze class most of the year. About now, I am 14, the youngest member of the site, yet the one with the most authority.
I also play a lot of characters, including the Goddess of Death, Alariis; the Seizo of Fire, Aen; and quite a lot of others. Plenty are open for mad plotting, so PM me if you want to work something out some time.

Q: What is roleplaying?
A: If you don't know what roleplaying is, then you maybe shouldn't be here unless you are good writer and a fast learner. It is simple really- you use snippets of writing- say a couple of paragraphs- in which your characters can interact with anyone else who cares to join and add to the story. I can assure you that it is very fun, and it will improve writing skills and such.

Q: How do I join?
A: It's quite simple, really. Just look at the top of the page. It should say "Welcome, guest", followed by a link to "Log In", then a link to "Register". Then, choose a username and a password. We do ask that you provide a valid e-mail. This is so that if you forget your password it can be e-mailed to you and so that administrators can e-mail you in case of an emergency. We will not e-mail you unless it is an emergency, such as you have become inactive and are about to be deleted. You can choose to have your e-mail hidden from the site if you wish. If you choose this, then the only people that will ever see your e-mail will be the administration. Once you have registered, you can log in whenever you want. You will need to audition, however, otherwise you won't be validated. Auditioning is simply an intro post- a paragraph or more that introduces a character and starts a roleplay.
This is done to filter out the bad roleplayers and keep us a collection with the cream of the crop.
There is no need to be nervous- us admins don't bite.
Just give us a unique post with proper grammar and spelling and you'll probably be fine.

Q: Do I need to give you any personal information?
A: No, it is not required. After you register, you can edit your profile and fill in any personal information you wish to display to the site, but this is not required. Just remember basic online safety. Don't tell anybody your password. If anybody can access your account, they can then gain access to your e-mail, and so on and so forth.

Q: Huh? I just came to this site, and all I see is this "Public Forum". Where are all the roleplaying boards?
A: The rest of the site, including the roleplaying boards, are only visible to those who are logged in as a member. To see the rest of the site, Register or Log In.

Q: Wait a second...I joined! How come all I can see is the rules, the Auditions, and this forum? You said when I became a member I could see the site! YOU MEANIE!
A: Well, I can explain that. You see, just because you registered doesn't mean you are a member. You have to audition first. Once your audition has been accepted, the admin will manually promote you to Member rank, and you will be an official member. See the question above for information on auditions.

Q: So, what's all this about having special parts?
A: Special parts are things like having Deity positions, Demi-god positions, Seizos, High Priest(esse)s and such. You can go to the Auditions board and fill out the provided form for the position you desire, and we'll decide what to think about it.
