Maki & Tomi, 3rd times a charm

OOC: i'll just continue from where we left, tomi was brought out to be hit by the missels, and Maki now has tomi's sword, orsun got away, and a tsunami is on its way, loads of fun xd

As Tomi's lifeless body layed out on the grass, the rockets were seen. They flew down fast, jets ready to take them down, but jets would not be enough. Tomi stood up, it looked almost spriti or ghost like and jumped upwards, he floated in mid air, the sjy was golden, all around, and tomi's tail now had to golden ribbon type things by it. You saw tomi's dog form change into a god like human form. Something rarley seen by mortals.
The human form, only showed the upper halpof the human, and was quite big, but see through. It rose up, and the bulllets hit it, time seemed to freeze though, as Tomi's dog form, was seen, the golden sky melted aay, and the ribbon tail dissapeared, tomi it the ground, and as he looke dup, time started again, instantly, the missles xploded, fas too, debriss were flung everywhere.

Tomi's wounds were healed, but he still looked like he was in pain. " Orsun, he must be stopped, soon. The Tsunami will be able t flood the city, Orsun is to anxious to do away with me. Not, you, me. Asd once i'm gone he'll have no one to stop him. The flood will be made as fast as possible 48 hours at the least. And may kill people, and break shops and houses, but it will be done and only pddles will be left, it should be not taller then a.. red wood tree. Maybe 2 red wood trees, but one cut in half. The most i can do, is try to change wind and cause snow. to freeze all lakes sourronding this area. To do that thoguh..we'll need a map. Though tomi's voice was rasp and sounded in pain, her said it kindly but urgently.

Maki gazed up at the sky as the rockets came plummeting down. It all seemed like some bizarre dream. Would she ever wake up? Suddenly Tomi lept up and changed into a new, human-like form. She could only stare in shock at the spectacle before her. BAM! The missles exploded and she quickly sheilded Joshua from the debris before yelling. "Tomi!" Was he alright? Maki was surprised to see that the explosion had healed Tomi's wounds but he still seemed to be in pain. Then he told her of Orsun's plans and she quickly shot Joshua a look, Joshua pointed to Ash who ran over with an electronic map similar to a GPS only it was a screen with four sides one foot long. She quickly laid it out to show a map of the surrounding area glancing at Tomi and praying he was really alright.

Tomi walked over and sat down. His one leg was still missing. He didn't look at the map right away, but when he did he saw three rivers. 2 north of them, one south. He looked at other things. he saw the closet way to the sea was via the south. it was a slim barley seeable blue line. Tomi tried to think of how wide and deep the river was.

he inclined his head and closed eyes. he searched for it and found the river. it was deep, but not long. Knowing Orsun, he'd chose the least likely River. The Southern one. Tomi looked up and blinked before saying. "The southern one. That river leads to the ocean via this blue line. Its hardly seeable but that's why Orsun has chosen it.The river is deep, but freezable. Tomi thought after saying that how to freeze it, or change the wind. It hit him The highest peak...or a giant windmill. "The only way.."/B] he paused it wasn't intentional though. his shortness of breath was from blood loss. he lost more blood then what was seeable.

[B]"The only way we came stop Orsun long enough to evacuate the city, or at least save the city its self would be for me to be at the highest peak around this town. Or for me to be on top of a windmill."

Maki clung to Tomi's every word as he worked out a plan. She noticed his shortness of breath but knew there was no time to tend to their injuries right away. They had to take care of Orsun....or die. "Right....Joshua? Do you still have that small plane in the back shed?" The young boy looked at her like she was out of her mind. "Yea, but it's just for looks! I can't fly that!" Maki grinned mischieviously. "I can. Joshua you're coming with Tomi and I, Ash will stay here and continue the evacuation."

The old shed at the back of the abandoned building was easy enough to access if one knew the codes. Tearing off the tarp she revealed a small plane with just enough room for the three of them. Maki hopped up into the pilot's seat and Josua climbed in beside her, sitting on her lap. "Tomi, can you get into the second seat ok?"

Tomi nodded, as he looked at the plane as he jumped in. a plane...when was the last time i saw one of these? Oh yes. I remember now, with the dragons, Tomi rembered how flight was, dragon flight was bumpy, becasuse of the battering wings. But, he rmebered planes. Depending on the type, they were quite noisey.

Tomi blinked. "How old, is this plane??" Tomi said this because of what he thought was a perpeler on the nose. Tomi switched his hat, to a scarf. and made sure that at least one scarf "tails" covered his metal eye.

Joshua swalloed nervously and looked at Maki who turned around smiling. "I don't really remember....very old, but workable. I think it's 70 something years old. These babies were developed sometime during one of the World Wars. Don't worry it works." Joshua pulled out the map as Maki started the engine. It coughed and sputtered a bit before it really got going and the propeller was spinning nicely. The plane started out in a slow, bumpy roll before it finally started picking up speed. Soon they lifted off the ground and up into the air where the plane seemed to be having trouble with turbulence. Maki yelled happily but Josua seemed a bit green and was constantrating intently on the map.

"CAREFUL MAKI!!! Lower the angle or we'll stall." "I'm trying!" Finally the plane leveled out and the ride became smoother. It didn't take long before they found themselves flying over the river. "Keep going south, Maki." "Ok, Tomi....see anything?"

70??? god this things probably as old as i am. oh well. Tomi looked out, keeping his eyes on the river. he starred at it, and slowly it was begginng to freeze. after a few minutes,of flying by, the rivier was a quarter of the way frozen, and almost frozen solid. "for now, i can freeze the river okay, but i cant start the wind, or the plane will go flying...mostly into something. wheres the closet mountain at?" Tomi imeediatly kept his attention to the river, and now half way frozen.

Maki gazed across the landscape. There were quite a few mountains around the river it was just a matter of finding one to land on. There! It was the tallest mountain in the area and if she landed above the treeline she wouldn't need to worry about crashing into trees. "The nearest mountains right ahead, I'm taking us down!" Maki had to yell so that she could be heard of the sound of the wind and the engine. Shifting the controls she lowered the landing gear as they neared the mountain. "Maki, Just to your right there's a patch of rock that's fairly flat but your going to have to slow down a lot if you want to make it." "Roger." Maki cut the engine and glided down towards the earth...easy...easy...."Hold On!" BUMP! The plane hit the surface and bumped repeatedly as Maki forced the brake. Finally it slowed to a stop. Joshua immediately stumbled out of the plane and found a quiet place to let his lunch loose.

Tomi lurched for a second, but he soon recovered, he hopped out, and quickly jumped up the mountain, he moved fast so no rocks shifted, at the top, it was hard to breath, but the wind currents, almost immediatly changed, he howled down. ''whatch out! the wind patterns, will build up down oppsidite it could blow you far backwords!'' the river contiued to freeze and carried off to the sea, and the wind up rotted a tree. not a tornado! no no! Tomi oped it wasn't if it was, it would be Orsun. his three paws clinged to the ground. his scarf, (as he hadnt swtichied it around) waved in the wind. the water was freeezing more rapidly, and tomi now had his eyes closed as debris hit his face.

As soon as Tomi's words reached Maki's ears she felt the sudden shift in wind currents and was nearly bowled over. The sound of creaking metal brought her attention to the plane that was shaking unsteadily. Quickly, Maki dove into her back back and grabbed a heavy chain so that she could lock the planes wheels and possible chain it to a sturdy boulder seeing as there were no trees. Josua stumbled over to her looking a little pale but no worse for wear. She handed him the chain as she struggled back to her feet. What was with this wind?!

Make stubbornly climbed up after Tomi but had to settle several feet below him. The wind was too strong....Snarling she shifted into her were form. Oh, it stung fiercely but by now she'd gotten fairly used to the pain. Her were form, being that of a Siberian tiger was highly adapt to this terrain and she felt instantly warmer and her claws allowed her to get a solid grip as she climbed up next to Tomi. "This wind....is it Orsuns?"

''The only way to know if theres a tornado brewing up. Some of the wind is mind, but its no mor ethen a breeze to help move the ice. and keep it from cracking.'' The wind picked up again, now, Tomi had ice coem and hold him into place. He did the same with the plane. Thats when he saw storm clouds. faster! hes trying to raise the sea levels! Quickly Tomi froze as much ocean as possible but it wasnt thick enough, if Orsun really wanted to he could easily break it.

The storm clouds formed the shape of Orsun's neck and head. He wa slaughing. It started to thunder as he laughed and then the cloud formation spoke. '''HS! you'd think alittle ice will stop me? I'm the god of dissaster! I can brake the ice easily. In fact let me show you!''

The cloud formation turned into a funnel and was heading towards them Tornado... Orsun appeared behind tomi, and jumped at him, Tomi couldnt move becuse of the ice. As orsun came closer, a dagger from tomi's scarf flew at Orsun. Orsun grabbe dit in his jaws and landed. ''It will take more then that to stop me!''

Maki nodded. Orsun's power still surprise her and she shivered as she thought of it. Her fur fluttered in the wind but her strong build kept her in place. She had no real magical powers that she was aware of and the only benefit to her were-form was sheer power, agility, and an accelerate healing rate. A shout from below alerted her to Joshua. "Maki, the plain's secure I used some of Ash's Magdalena Chain. It'll hold." Maki nodded, the magic of the Magdalena Chain was legendary. The plane would hold but it looked like they had other problems now.

Suddenly Orsun's face loomed in the strom clouds. Maki growled angerly. "Come and face us you coward! Do you fear my claws?" She didn't know why she was egging him on but Maki hoped that if she drew his attention it would give Tomi more time. It seemed like this idea failed because in an instant a tornado formed and Maki stared, mouth agape. How could he create a tornado in such cold?!

Suddenly Orsun appeared and charged at Tomi. A grin spread across her muzzled. While Orsun was distracted by Tomi Maki had a clear shot. She lunged forward, her large form moved almost silently thanks to the noise of the wind and her large, snowshoe like paws. He large fangs glistened as she attempted to get Orsun's leg in her jaws. If she succeded she bite down with all the force she could muster to break the bone. If he lept to the side she'd follow and keep him in her sights. Either way she had to be prepared for retalliation of the magical kind as well. Well...at least she hadd Broxcellus to fall back on.

Orsun jumped back words in a summersault, and flung the dagger back at Tomi, before dissapearing. Tomi was able to stop it in time, and started to chip away at the ice with it. Orsun appeared jumping upwards at Tomi. ''Claws? Why would i fear something that i have as well?'' Orsun hit the ground before jumping at Tomi's neck. Just as he was about to bite, Orsun was frozen solid as he fell down the cliff. The wind was gone along with the clouds. ''He's not dead. But at least I have more time''. The ocean began to freeze more, an icy cool breeze was now going.

Maki snarled as her attack missed. Curse him! A smirk flitted across her maw. "...because were-tiger claws are exceptionally deadly!" Maki prepared herself for another attack but just as she did Orsun lept at Tomi and just as he was about to bite onto her friend, he was frozen solid and he slid down the cliff. ''He's not dead. But at least I have more time''. Maki nodded as she continued to pace. They were almost done. She wished that there was something she could do. All this waiting around was driving her nuts.

Tomi stood in place. and soon the oceans were frozen as best as he could. ''That should be..good..'' His voice was far apart again, Orsun the icecube, was frozen down the side of the mountain and was caught by a tree. Because he was a god- not a regular animal- he was able to surive that. Acturally he could brake free easily. Instead, he sat there. Waiting. Eventually- like tomi had said he couldnt wait and a lightning bolt hit the ice and cracked the ice. Orsun started to climb up the mountain slowly. As he knew they'd see it. ''He's coming.'' Tomi snarled.
