The Beginning

[Klomonx]

Recap: Sage is currently under the water, and rio, dives for him, making pup to have to keep Crystal from falling with all his might. Meanwhile, up river, Yro's fangs are having trouble hanging onto the log, and are cracking.

[Crystal]

Sage saw Rio trying to help him. He swam closer to Rio. Deep underwater he couldnt hold his breath anymore as he suddenly stopped swimming and fell to the bottom of the lake.

One of his small eyes were open watching the surface where Pup was dragging Crystal up from the lake.

[Klomonx]

RIo's nose wa dipping under the water, and he quickly went to regrasp Sage.

Pup was continuesly trying to pull Crystal out of the water, when he heard a sharp yelp up stream. It was Yro, one of his young canine fangs ad been ripped out, and though her tried to, could not grasp hold of the log's rope, and it was going down the river, heading towards Rio, and crystal.

[Crystal]

Crystal stirred and opened her eyes. Looking up she saw Pup trying to pull her up. She steadyed herself and grabbed a hold of the bank with her two front paws. Her nails digging in to the muddy bank. Her back paws were still danglinig freely over the water. She didnt know what had happened but she did remember jumping into the lake. He thoughts were Canceled out as she saw the Log come towards them at a fast speed.

Rio panted softly, lifted his head, hoping that Sage was in his jaws, and tossed him assure. He turned to Crystal, hearing the log getting closer, and began to push her, hoping shed et on land, hoping sage was there to.

[Crystal]

Sage was thrown onto the bank and hit the side with a loud thud. He started throwing out water from his lungs. It was painful but it was the only way he could begin to breath normally again. Soon when all the water was out he began to gasp for air. He took big breaths at a time.

Crystal got pushed a bit and one of her back legs grabbed the edge of the bank. She tried along with Pups help and got herself on the side. She then collapsed breathing deeply like Sage.

Rio heard the log comming closer, and with it, came the water, Yro, was running down alongside the log, and speeding up, he saw Rio in the water still. Something, wasn't allowwing Rio to move. It wasn't the pain he felt though, he looked down, and saw a vine was wrapped around his two back legs. If he moved, they would snap togethr, holding him under the water to be crushed by the log. He looked bhind himself, and saw sied on the oppisite side, hidden mostly among the bushes, olding the vine. Rio saw the log coming closer.

[Crystal]

"Rio~!" Sage jumped up. His breathing was back to normal now as he jumped to the edge. He was attemting to jump back in and cut the vines with his teeth. He knew Rio would never allow it but he wanted to go anyway.

[Klomonx]

Rio heard the log getting closer, and at the last minute he pulled, and fell, the log went over him, and rio stood back up- his breathing wa shsort- but otherwise fine, and Sied, was gone.

[Crystal]

"Pup we have to pull him up~!" Sage yelled at Pup from the back. "Come on help me." Sage struggled and tried to get Rio to move closer to him.
"Rio Get closer to me so we can pull you up."

[Klomonx]

Rio moved closer, but walked, slowly up tot he shore. He stopped for a second, and loked at Crystal. "IS she, okay?" Rio asked, panting heavily

[Crystal]

Sage quickly looked back. "I..I'm not sure.." He walked over to his mother.

Crystal sat up slowly. She coughed a bit and looked at Rio. She then stood up and walked away into the forest.

"She Looked angry." Sage looked back at Rio. " What did you do~?" He asked him.

[Klomonx]

Rio, looked at Sage, and held back his anger. "I saved her." Was what he said. He knew that Crystal, also would rather have Sied. But even in his heart, he knew that even though it would make crystal happy-it would demolish him more hten now. "Pup, take Sage and Yro back to MAber and their siblings, please." He sat down, and closed his eyes, trying to clear him mind, as he coughed on water. Yro, satrred, horrified at where Sied had been, and then turned to follow Pup, who was waiting for Sage.

[Crystal]

Sage followed Pup. Before they got back he turned back around and ran to Rio. "Rio..I think you should talk to her." He quickly said before going back to join Pup and his Brother.

Crystal wondered into the forest. She stopped by a giant Oak tree. Looking at the tree she felt the warmth of the sunlight on her fur from a clearing in the trees.

[Klomonx]

Rio nodded, not paying atention much to Sage's words. But, he got up, and followed Crystal, on scent alone, as he did not open his eyes. He bumped into a fe wobjects, but eventually was close to Crystal, he approache dher, his head as far down as it would go, his eyes open. "Crystal.." He said, ready for her to yell at him.
